vapetron1990 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Hello couple months back I had posted about getting a new device. I went with the lava tube 2.5. I love it, but am having one issue. It has a rubber band or ring around the center post. It sometimes messes up the readings of the ohms of the attached Atty. Just the other night it completely fell out when I was cleaning the threads with a q tip. Is this band needed or can I just leave it out?

vapetron1990 Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 I don't think so. Its around the metal battery post that connects the battery to the atty coil. I think the purpose of the band is to protect against over tightening of the Atty to the battery post, but its doing to good of a job and not working on certain tanks because of not connecting.
