  1. I don't think so. Its around the metal battery post that connects the battery to the atty coil. I think the purpose of the band is to protect against over tightening of the Atty to the battery post, but its doing to good of a job and not working on certain tanks because of not connecting.
  2. Hello couple months back I had posted about getting a new device. I went with the lava tube 2.5. I love it, but am having one issue. It has a rubber band or ring around the center post. It sometimes messes up the readings of the ohms of the attached Atty. Just the other night it completely fell out when I was cleaning the threads with a q tip. Is this band needed or can I just leave it out?
  3. Which mod would you recommend, and what do you use.
  4. Awesome haven't seen anything about those. Have you used one before with the lavatube?
  5. I am ready to get into the higher priced mods looking on some advice. I know the provari is pretty much top of the line but have been looking into some pv a little cheaper. Right now I'm looking at the vamo, lava tube, and the evic. Currently I am using a I taste vv and have 6 evod tank I use regularly and a pro tank. I would like my new mod be able to utilize the tanks I have currently. I am leaning towards the lava tube v2.5 but I can't find any info on if you can use a evod tank on it. What would you guys suggest for my next step.
  6. Actually just got it working great I think the coil was to tightened to much and backing off the tank a little decent air flow now and vaping like a champ ty ty
  7. Ya that helped its at least firing now. But back it off to Much and the air flow increses a lot but doesn't hit . I'm at work now but have some other coils at home going try swapping those out and see if it helps any. This is the first time using it on this battery. Didn't have this issue with the other one same type too the ego-t. Thanks for your input.
  8. Does the fact that its hard to hit on the pro tank have anything to with it like the battery is shutting off cause it doesn't have enough air flow?
  9. Just tried a kangertech evod tank with a 2.2 in it no problems switched to the pro tank no Vape and then the light blinked again but when I removed it and tried the evod worked perfectly. I forgot to mention I was having issues with the pro tank not connecting to the battery so I tightened down the coil and was working for a little bit then the light started blinking. I'm still kinda new to the whole vaping thing is this a issue I should be worried about for safety reasons?
  10. Hey been using a pro tank 2 with an ego-t battery. I switched out the original coil which was a 2.4ohms for a 2.2 I noticed after doing that it was harder to hit with not as much airflow. Just tonight I went to hit it on a battery that had only been used for like 2hrs and it blinked saying it was dead. I have had it on the charger now for an hour and it will give me a weak hit then blink again saying its dead. Anyone have insight on what is going on?
  11. I have the ego-t battery and I don't think this one has different settings
  12. Thanks for the quick replies. I went ahead and ordered a pro tank v2. Had another question about the pro tank. I didn't read the spec and it came with 2 2.4 ohm coils and I bought 2.2 ohm replacements. Can I switch those with no problems? And what's the difference?
  13. Hello new to vaping, and am trying a lot of different juices. Just ordered a couple with warnings about tank cracking. Will the basic kangertech evod be able to handle them. Or will I have to buy something else. Any suggestions on other tanks would be great. I have the ego-t battery
