See, the only top coil/wicking devices I have are the original clearos that came with my starter pack that amazingly still work. I have them laying on their side, too, to keep the wicks wet. And I don't think I ever let them get down past 1/2 a tank or so, maybe more, but they have VERY long wicks. But as a rule, I prefer bottom coils. Maybe just because the clearos that come with starter packs are the disposable cheap ones, the evods that I got next tasted sooo much better.
