If you'll post the brand and other information of what you're using I think there are a lot of people here who might be able to help you out. mcquinn Posted October 28, 2012 Share Posted October 28, 2012 Sometimes the threads on the carto's are not cut very good and they do not screw on far enough to make contact.Try screwing one on and off a few times that seems to help clean things up a bit.You might consider getting a Joye or KR unit in the future with refillable carto's ,you will have less trouble with that I promise. mcquinn Posted October 29, 2012 Share Posted October 29, 2012 It can light up and not be making contact as the battery is either activated by drawing on it or pushing the button.Bauway brand cartos are really bad about not screwing on all the way.Another thing you can try is inserting a straightened paper clip a little into the center contact hole on the carto and jiggling it trying to lift it some.doesn't take much.
