Wood For Mods

i want to make a wood mod but undecided of the wood to get. just would like to hear your guys favorite types of wood. thank you

I would think any wood would work.I wouldn't buy exotic woods until you have mastered a few.Harder woods will be more durable,softer woods easir to carve.

I think Purpleheart or Ebony (or both together) would make a really nice looking mod.

i like those two woods too. I just want to hear other pepoles ideas for woods to make my mod out of.
