Diabetics And The Glycerin Base E Juice

Recommended Posts

I'm diabetic and one thing that concerns me is the sugar that is in the glycerin. Wiltons states on the bottle that it contains 25mg sugar per tablespoon.

Having said that, I can say that I don't have the craving for sugar like I had before vaping. But things like corn syrup, cane and beet sugars (processed sugar) are deadly to me where natural sugars in fruits are good for me.

Anyone know if it is an additive, processed, or a natural sugar? :doctor:

I too have no idea but, would assume the worst for the mean time and be careful. I would assume that it's not natural sugar and it's some form of processed if I had to guess though. I would just keep a close eye on my sugar levels while and just after vaping, both after eating and on an empty stomach to see how it affects you.

Chris

Yes that is an excellent idea

I have not seen a rise in my sugar levels but, it has me thinking about it.

If it is synthetic than it is probably corn syrup that is added.

I just found a local suplyer of food grade PG today so I will get some of that as well... Do my own testing on it and see if any of these affect my levels. I'm lucky atm and control it with diet. So, I must really be mindful of what I'm putting in my body. I'm thankful I'm only T2.
