What Is A Drip Tip?

I'm not new to e-cigs but I recently bought a dse-901 and one of the accessories I can get for it is a drip tip.

First off: What is a drip tip?

secondly: How does one use a drip tip?

Drip tips are really nice to have even if you are not direct dripping. It makes a really nice mouth piece for cartomizers. The 510 drip tip will fit your 901 atomizer.
