Brian Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I believe glycerin/glycerol is VG. If it very thick it's probably VG. PG will be thinner. (not sure if that's what you were asking)
kitsune Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Most of the chemist glycerin is VG-- Like Brian said--if it's thick, its VG. But either way--it is usable. If you put a bit on your finger and taste--it will be a bit sweet. Both PG and VG are good for mixing.
kitsune Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 as long as its food grade its sweet. I bought the Pharmacy glycerin (skin protectant) and surprisingly it too was sweet. I used to use the food grade glycerin because I thought the pharmacy glycerin was different. Honestly, the food grade is a bit sweeter, but not by much.
