  1. I'm selling my old Provari, this is the original zombie paint scheme, not the one you can buy now. Everything works, lots of spare parts. The Z-Atty pro isn't something I used much beyond 2 or 3 times, I don't really like rebuilding coils, so it wasn't for me, I mostly used the Aerotanks. The itemized list is below

    Included:

1 Provari - original zombie, variable voltage device

3 AW IMR 18650 batteries (these are a couple years old, but they were only used for about a week before I retired the provari in favor of sub-ohm stuff)

2 Kanger Aerotank Mega with 4 unused coils

1 Trustfire battery charger with power cable

    1 18650 extension cap

1 regular cap for whatever the other size of battery is ( I only ever used 18650s)

1 Zen Z-Atty pro (a genesis device made exclusively for the Provari, comes with replacement wicks and wire)

1 bag of extra-long wood-handled q-tips for cleaning (use isopropyl alcohol)

2 replacement negative battery coily thingys

Asking $100 for the whole shebang, there's probably $500 of stuff here (in 2011 money), but I'll entertain reasonable offers.

  2. Hello, I was going through my old vaping equipment, and came across my old PureSmoker Legacy, haven't used it since I got a provari, which has been in the same drawer for a couple years, also. There are 3 relatively unused batteries with it, which were stored in a cool dry place, as recommended. This is a mechanical mod, not much can go wrong with it, but unfortunately the company no longer exists, so you won't be able to buy replacement parts

    Included:

    1 Puresmoker Legacy

1 Extention for use with the variable wattage Kick

    1 Kick

1 Kanger Aerotank with a couple of new coils that I never used

3 relatively unused 18650 batteries (these aren't IMR and therefore will not work with the Kick, you'll need to buy IMR batteries for that)

1 bag of spare screws and washers

I'm asking $30 for the whole shebang, not looking to retire, just want to clear out some room for my new old stuff.

  3. I posted this yesterday right as the update happened so it disappeared. I just upgraded to sub-ohm goodness and no longer need a lot of old stuff so i'm giving it away. pm me what you want and your address.

  4. It's the first hit and every hit that's dry, I even let it sit and whick for 30 minutes after the first dry hit. I usually vape with the Aspire for organic 100% VG juice, and the protank-2 for thinner juices (I like a cooler vape for fruity flavors) I've also been trying the unitank, which is distinctly meh, more gurgling than the protank-2, also plastic, which i'm not a fan of. The organic juice is 100% vg, I just figured since my aspire bdc has no problem at all with it the kanger would do fine, I'll try some thinner juice and see if the aerotank does any better. Troy: I'm from Greeley, wasn't aware of the vapefest, i might have to check it out. Thanks, guys

  5. So, I just got a brand new kanger aerotank a couple weeks ago, filled it up, let it sit for a while, screwed it onto my provari, and took a hit. It was just like when i first got the protank-2, the hit was burnt, practically no juice went where it was supposed to. So I did what i do with my protank 2 which is turn the coil head grommet around to open up the path to the wicking material. that worked, for about 30 seconds, then it gurgled like crazy, and even leaked a whole bunch. After cleaning everything, I turned the grommet back around and reinstalled it, and it worked for 3 or 4 puffs, then started burning again due to dry hits. Is this designed to only work with certain juices? or is it just a bad design? for the record, I had my provari set to 3.7 volts and was using one of the sweet-vapes organic juices. please help, i've got the aerotank and a full box of coil heads and i'd hate to have to throw them away.

  6. Definitely the Blucigs, as it was the only one i owned before getting an eGo, battery life was bad, only lasted about half an hour, throat hit was sporadic, but their flavors were actually quite good, unfortunately, an entire box of cartomizers was bad, luckily i discovered this forum before my 30-day money-back guarantee was up, ordered an eGo, and eventually got bigger and better stuff and now have a puresmoker legacy :)

  7. Try Boge's, seriously, they're very consistent, and a much smoother vape than dual coil, if you fill them right, they work wonderfully. I used smoktech dcc's for quite a while, and when i came back to boge's it was a night and day difference. Regular Boge, BTW, NOT the XL, there's something horribly wrong with those.

  8. What kind flavors did you drip? If the equipment is not for you, attys, drip shield and adapter. I am sure I can work something out with you, either trade you some boge cartos or cash ;)

Sadly, i already gave the lot to my neighbor, i tried sweet-vapes' fudge brownie at "mostly vg", and smartvapes' sv101, and the taste is better than cartos, but it's still a mess, and i still get more dry-ish hits than good ones, and after several months of only using cartomizers, they're just way easier and less messy than dripping.

  9. I, for one, don't believe that the sky is falling. Strict regulations will more than likely (imo) affect the pre-filled carto / beginner packaging sector a small amount, and the niche market the rest of us live in very little, if at all, I doubt anyone in the fda even knows that you can buy an empty cartomizer and fill it yourself with juice. Keep in mind that you can still buy a bag of tobacco, a box of tubes, and an injector and make your own cigarettes for less than a dollar a pack, while pre-packaged cigarettes are around $8 a pack, depending on where you live. Broad, sweeping regulations, like the prohibition of alcohol, ultimately fail, you could still obtain alcohol illegaly or make your own until prohibition got crushed under the weight of its own stupidity. Governmet is too big and too slow to kill off e-cigs altogether, and after going through all the revisions and changes, the final bills that get passed rarely end up affecting much of anything. And with tobacco companies come lobbyists, and if tobacco companies want to make money with e-cigs, they will, because lobbyists run washington, that's why nearly everything that's passed in the last 30 years has benefited people who can afford them.

I think more and more tobacco companies will buy out e-cig companies once they see the potential profits, and the inevitable losing battle of trying to kill them, and with big tobacco companies and their lobbyists behind e-cigs, i'd be surprised not to see fda regulations wither and die, meanwhile the rest of us who buy giant devices running off enormous flashlight batteries, getting our juice from mom and pop shops will be largely unaffected while big tobacco, and big government do their silly dance.

I could be wrong, the FDA may be plotting to destroy e-cigs altogether, and big tobacco may be buying up e-cig companies only to shut them down so that their dying business model can limp along for just a little bit longer, but i severely doubt it. Free markets deliver what the people want in spite of governmet. There are already nicotine alternatives in the works for e-juice, which i'd imagine could eventually eliminate the need for nicotine in e-juice, which would nullify any fda regulation involving nicotine, and in the meantime, if big tobacco wants to join our club, make e-cigs, and profits from them, then they also bring their advertising dollars, business sense, and lobbyists, which are bigger guns than we've ever had.

So I say welcome to the party, big tobacco, bring all your friends :)
