  1. LR Ego-T Atomizer or Boge LR 510 Cartomizer.
  2. I bought two from Amazon since I have a Prime Account, here: http://www.amazon.com/Ultrafire-Li-ion-18650-3000mah-Battery/dp/B0035H58GG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1308790699&sr=8-1 3000mah, supposedly the rating is legitimate. I ordered two and they sent me two pairs (4 batteries)! Might have been a mistake, though because they only picture one and they nothing about it being a two-pack. These 3000mah Ultrafire 18650's are longer than regular 18650 batteries though so it may not fit in every mod, but works in my Omega.
  3. No way, the Megalodon looks SICK !! Mechanical switch, beautiful styling, multiple voltages, and it can grow and shrink depending on how much battery life you need !!!!
  4. I have an SLB DSE-905 V4 e-cig which runs on a single 14500 battery, paired up with an SLB LR 901 Atomizer (1.7 ohm) and it's a really decent combination. But I feel I HAVE to use a Wide Mouth Drip Tip to bring out the flavor and the vapor. I would say that if you're already rocking a 510 setup, then just stick with it. I don't think there is anything to be gained or lost by switching to the 901, but if you're that curious just buy an atomizer and a 510-to-901 adapter and see for yourself which one you like better.
  5. I actually take it back, last night I was doing some heavy vaping with the Alpha + IMR 14500 + Dual Coil Carto for an hour or two and the battery kept maintaining that 3.6V. I was just expecting it to produce 4.2V under load and that was a bit of a let-down but it seemed to maintain that 3.6V much better than a regular 14500 Li-Ion battery. There is definitely something special about these IMR/high drain batteries.
  6. Okay so the IMR 14500's I ordered came in the mail today. They have no nipples so they didn't work in any of my box mods, but they work in the Alpha. Fully charged, it's putting out 4.18V but under load of a dual coil cartomizer, it only runs at 3.6V like a regular 14500. The AW High Drains should be here tomorrow so I'll charge those up and give them a try also.
  7. Dual Coil Cartomizers seem to only run at 4.5V or below. Also, the button to power the E-cig has to be rated for 2 amps or higher (under load) otherwise the device can fail permanently. HotVapes now has this disclaimer in the description of their Bombshell PV.
  8. Thanks for the advice and the references, guys. I ordered three of the red AW 14500 High Drain batteries last night to try with the Alpha. And I just ordered an Omega because I am dying to try out a PV that uses an 18650 battery. My wallet is having a heart attack right now but whatever.

    Nicotine

If you're going 0mg nicotine E-liquid, try to get a 100% PG liquid. You probably won't get any throat hit at 0mg nic, but if there is any to be had, a PG E-Liquid will deliver it.
  10. Hi Everyone, I am really becoming a big fan of the Dual Coil Cartomizers. I am mostly using them on my new Totally Twisted VMU PV at 4.2V and they are fantastic. At night I like to vape with my AltSmoke Alpha with a 900mah 14500 battery. The battery produces 4.2V fully charged but under the load of the Dual Coil Cartomizer, it only produces 3.65 or 3.7V and quickly drops down from there...3.6, 3.55, 3.5v etc. as I vape. I am thinking that the Dual Coil Cartomizer is very hard on a single 14500 battery mod and I was wondering if a mod with an 18650 battery (3000mah, 3.7V) would be able to maintain 3.7V for longer. Also, I was wondering if maybe a High Drain or IMR 14500 battery would do better with Dual Coil Cartos? I already ordered a pair of IMR 14500's from Avid Vaper last night as most vendors seem to be out of stock! Any thoughts? Thanks, Emile
  11. I recently placed a small order from Indy Vapor Shop for a couple of G4 510 Clearomizers. It is certainly a breeze to fill up but the flavor is very weak. I need to run at 5 volts or more just to get any flavor out of them. Even then, the vape still feels too light and airy for my preference. I'll keep playing around, but so far the Dual Coil Cartomizers at 4V are so amazing.
  12. Mine came in today...vaping it right now. Awesomeness !!
  13. I want one! Please let me know when they are in stock so I can buy.
  14. How much does this mod go for? I am very interested.
  15. Nice review, I may have to give one of these a try. How does it compare to a 901 LR? I am using a 901 LR on a DSE-905 e-cig as my vape before bed because it's very smooth and the vapor feels heavy on the exhale, like a real cigarette. Of course, 901 LR needs a wide-mouth drip tip to bring out the flavor.
  16. Hehehe, cool. New rule: shoes must match the mod.
  17. Never seen anyone else vaping so far. I was out in NYC on Friday and Saturday nights last week-end and didn't see a single person vaping there, either. Still just a lot of analog smokers, which is just crazy because Marlboro Lights are $8 a pack here in Northern NJ and around $11 in NYC.
  18. Hi Smokie, that sounds like a good idea. You say at least a few vendors will be there. Does this mean we will be able to purchase some of the good stuff they have to offer? Are they going to bring things with them?
  19. Yeah, 5V vaping is awesomeness. lovie, did you try low resistance atomizers before upgrading to the Infinity?
  20. Beautiful! I would say the size is just fine and dandy.
  21. Hi Guys, I really like 5V vaping (on a 510 atomizer and an Ego-T atomizer), so I was curious if there are any 5V big battery mods? Preferrably something that would look cool when I'm out and about. I have a few 5V box mods so it would have to offer a lot more battery life than the 2x 14500 (900mah) batteries my current box mods already take. I like the Tekkeon 5V Mod but I am hesitant to spend ~$130 on something that may not have replaceable batteries. Any recommendations? Thanks, Emile
  22. You can buy a mod and an adapter to use your Ego-T Tank Atomizers on them. That would allow you to use a bigger battery and/or vape the Ego-T at high voltage.
