  1. Unfortunately, I've learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. I've tried some vendors that provide 30 ml bottles super cheap, but I find their juice to be very unsatisfying. To your point, Vapor Talk sells 10ml bottles for $7.99. Vapor Kings charges a little more for their juices. Both are very good suppliers, but I just find that I prefer Vapor Talk juices to almost anything I've tried, so it works out well for me. I get great juice at a great price. I guess my point is, you're going to have to find that right juice for you at the price you like and then go for it. But if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
  2. Nana is right, it's a personal preference thing. Many of my fellow vapers love cartomizers. I tried them and found I much prefer the taste and vapor production of direct dripping. It wouldn't cost too much to order a five pack, try them out and see what you think. I also agree with everyone regarding LR atty's. I haven't gone back to standard atty's since I tried LR. Much better vapor production.
  3. Yes indeed. Many good quotes from that movie, but that's my favorite.

  5. Has anyone mentioned the Ego? No seriously, there's a reason why we all recommend it. Because for the price, the battery duration, the look, the feel, and the reliability it's about the best on the market.
  6. I completely agree Dayvape. I love the concept, and I love the look of the Ego Tank atty, I just couldn't get over the fact that my juice taste seemed modified. I think I'll have to look into the LR Tank atty's also.
  7. The drip tips replace the carts and attach directly to the atomizer. You can use with or without the cone, whichever you prefer.
  8. Midnight and mentha are my VT favorites! I've only tried both in 24mg though, but they tasted great!
  9. I'm with you, I think I'm gonna try a starter kit next time I need to replace a battery just for kicks.
  10. Yeah, I did. Still didn't quite work for me. I'm gonna go back to it after it has sat for a while and soaked up all the juice, because I'm hooked on the idea and I love the way it looks. Thanks for the suggestion though, much appreciated!
  11. Hey GeekRock, Yeah, I've heard that the lower you go in nicotine strength, the more of the "natural" flavor of the juice you can taste. The nicotine itself has an almost "peppery" taste, so the less of that taste that is present, the more "natural" juice flavor you're going to get.
  12. Wow, congrats on eliminating the nicotine! That's a really huge accomplishment.
  13. hee hee, not my kids, so it's funny! (but it sounds like something my kids would do)
  14. Ooohhhhhh, do you know who carries the LR tank attys?
  15. Good for you, I think you'll be very happy with that purchase! Yes, it's a great idea to get you some backups going, because often when they quit, they quit abruptly without warning. It wouldn't hurt to get some extra atomizers, and perhaps a spare battery and a charger if you decide the Ego is right for you. Unfortunately taste is very subjective and differs from person to person. I was a menthol smoker so I love the mentha from VTS, but I know some folks that hate it. Your best bet is to get a few samples from a few different suppliers and find out what works best for you. As with the PV, buyer beware: 60 ml of juice for $3.99 is probably too good to be true. Vapor Talk Store and some of the supporting suppliers have some great e-juice flavors for starters. Good luck and have fun with it!
  16. So this was my last effort at anything other than direct dripping on standard units. I don't mind direct dripping, and I love the vapor and flavor production, but I wanted something a little more convenient for traveling. I have tried cartos and wasn't a fan, so this was it. First, let me say I love the Ego. Great battery life, and solid performance. I'm not; however, a fan of the Tank system. There's nothing wrong with it, the concept is great and it works exactly as advertised. Very easy to put together and use, but while vaping it, there is a flavor that I cannot quite explain...almost plasticy. It's not a burnt atomizer, I know those symptoms all too well. It feeds very well and I experienced no leakage, but it modifies the taste of my favorite juices a little too much for my comfort. I have also become accustomed to LR attys, so the cooler, dryer vaping doesn't satisfy me as much as it once did. The really weird thing is, I like the look and feel of the tapered mouthpieces more than drip tips or the standard cartridge mouthpieces. I also like the fact that the tank atty is a little bigger and I love the look of the Ego with the tank on it as opposed to the cones. Just for kicks I tried direct dripping into the tank atty without the tank and it was pretty good. Aside from the fact that the atty wasn't LR, it produced great vapor and flavor, but without that warm LR goodness. In short, I guess it's a great concept, a sleek visual and a great design. I'm sure it will work for a lot of people, but I guess I'm just a direct dripping kinda guy (or maybe a wet box next)
  17. I haven't had any experience with the Revolution e-cig, but I did watch Phee's video and it looked like getting the battery into the charger was a little tricky (at least trickier than a standard 510). It doesn't screw in like most of the other battery/charger combo's I've seen, it kind of snaps in. If you've gotten the batteries replaced, and if you're sure the battery is making good contact inside the charger, I would try removing it from the wall outlet and plugging it straight into the PC via USB to ensure it's not the wall charger portion that's bad. If you do that and it's still not working, I would try another outlet. If all else fails, let VTS support know, I'm sure the VTS folks will take care of you if it's a manufacturer issue.
  18. Yes indeed. I can only get 6-8 hours out of mine, but I pretty much vape heavily and consistently all day. I was smoking a pack of analogs a day and snuffing a can of smokeless per day before vaping, so I almost always had nicotine in my system.
  19. The Yeti C is a 510 kit I believe, so your atomizers/cartomizers will hook up directly to the Ego Battery. You can get them here at the Vapor Talk store, or I think I saw that Vapor Kings has them on sale for $17.00. Cheaper than buying the whole kit if you're interested...
  20. This is gonna be a totally stupid question, but is the material really titanium or is that just what they're calling the model of the stainless version?
  21. I recently ran out of my VTS mentha and needed some pretty badly. I ordered some juice from Vapor Kings to replace my dwindling stock. When my shipment arrived, my package was short 3 bottles. I logged a ticket and had a response from Vapor Kings within two hours offering to send the missing juice immediately. Great customer service. Just wanted to share.
  22. Yup, that's it exactly. Have heard mixed reviews on them. Here is an example of what they look like: http://www.cloudsofvapor.com/store/64-e2-royal-smoker/102-clearomizers/558-510-e2-xl-clearomizer-ceramic-v4-24-ohm.html
