My mind is racing with ideas on where to leave some silver showing, how I should use the felt. I'm thinking wrap with alligator and leave some silver at both ends and in the middle do a thick spiral of felt.

Just bought these 3" by 4" vinyl sheets. One black suede, the other black snake leather. 99c each (!) on eBay. Plan on wrapping my SMPL when it arrives. Thinking of doing the snake leather as a base and accenting and adding grip with the suede.

Saw some WTS posts on here of stuff that I had my eye on to buy brand new. Normally I couldn't justify it but at the prices offered I felt I needed to pounce:
Vaporesso Nebula + one 26650 battery + one 18650 battery: $35
Serpent Mini 22 + Goon clone = $22
SMPL Mech Mod = $13
100 feet of 26 gauge wire = $6.19
Plan to match the Serpent with the Smpl, the Nebula with my TFV8, and use the Goon on my GPriv.

Hey All,
I got into rebuilding in March and love it. I have the following wire:
*48 feet of 20 gauge kanthal
*96 feet of 22 gauge kanthal (10 spools 10 feet of wire in each spool)
*5 feet of 24 gauge kanthal
*23 feet of 24/36 gauge clapton SS316L
*(Arriving Friday): 100 feet of 26 gauge kanthal
The amount of wire I have in 22 gauge (and soon 26 gauge) is excessive. Even the amount of 20 gauge wire I have is somewhat excessive. But, there are a lot of types of wire that I don't have that I would like to.
I imagine I'm not the only one with this type of situation. Buying 100feet is typically barely more expensive than buying 50, 25, or 10 feet. But getting wire VARIETY can be expensive.
I'd like to get some more stainless steel wire, some nichrome, and some higher gauge stuff.
Would any of you be interested in trading some of your wire for some of mine, leaving both of us with greater variety in our respective wire collections?

I'd like to pick up some fancy prebuilt coils with fairly high resistance (0.5 to 1.2 ohm). Anyone know what's good in that department?

I've got two Pharoahs, and I wanted to try something different. I like the size of it. Small. Really makes a lot of sense for a single coil build.
Which tank allows larger builds?

This one was a surprise. I saw the tiny little wicking holes and thought, oh boy, this one is a dry hitter. The first wicking was. Re-wicked with a little more fluffing a viola! Monster bubbles coming up. Single coil, four wrap, clapton. This little guy is pumpin flavor and vapor. I'm amazed.
Why did you go with the Ammit over the Pharaoh? Or do you have the Pharaoh as well?

I finally got my order from China. Smok GPriv, 2 GPriv red silicone sleeves, 2 TFV8/12 style drip tips, 3 TFV8 replacement glasses, 3 TFV8 X4 coils, 3 TFV8 T10 coils.
While waiting for the mod and coilheads, my somewhat broken mod really fell apart and I ran out of TFV8 coils. As a result, I ended up getting into rebuilding and buying a bunch of stuff in between making the China order and receiving it. Doing both that has largely made this China order obsolete for me lol.
I kind of wish that didn't open the GPriv and just sold it to someone brand new.
It's safe to say that I won't need to order any more vape stuff for a very long time (besides cotton and juice), but I'm sure I'll get shinyitis and buy a bunch of stuff anyways.

Nah it wasn't like that. I made an order about a year ago where they didn't ship one of the items, then said oh sorry we didn't have enough in stock, here is some store credit. Total BS.

I have the TFV12 RBA-T. I used the stock pre-installed coils initially. I had trouble getting all 3 coils to fire evenly but eventually got it close enough.
Today I removed the stock coils. On the removal, one of the wires was really tough to get out. I put new coils in and right now I'm trying to get them to pulse evenly. Two of them pulse perfectly, but the third lags way behind. I tried adjusting it all sorts of different ways and cannot get it to fire right. I tried having the spacing be smaller (or none) and it still lags behind.
Any advice?
Is there something up with my deck, since one of the stock coils wouldn't come out smoothly (and perhaps was the one that wasn't firing evenly)?

then it is likely not the atty but an issue with the mod.
It's definitely the mod since the atty works on other devices.
I'd try to first get the pin on the mod to stick out more and then if that doesn't work, then adjust the tank's connector. If he has to settle for adjusting the tank's connector, then he'll have to adjust it back when using other mods.
