  1. Depending on what you are looking to spend, I can only reference what I've got that I've been happy with... After I decided to step up from my original vape purchase, I got a sigelei fuchai 200w tc and triforce tank. I love it, plenty of production, and flavor is fantastic. (I'm a flavor chaser more than cloud chaser) the con to the fuchai is the tc seems to be lacking, I got ni200 coils with the triforce and couldn't get it to hit right, as I understand the whole TC concept, you are supposed to get better flavor and no dry hits, etc. What I've found with the fuchai, is that since you can't change the TCR (coefficient) you are stuck with their programming. I could crank the temp to max, and still not get as good of a hit as in power mode at 70watts on a regular kanthal coil. That being said, I also jumped on the wismec rx200 bandwagon. It came with a TFV4 tank. I needed more battery life for while at work. I tried TC with it, (only on the triforce tanks and coils) and again found it lacking, but I found posts that said you could adjust the tcr to 600 and it would be better, and I tried that today with my new 30mm triforce I bought today, and it seems to be working, although I've found if I up the wattage or temp too high, I still get a dry hit. So I'm kinda puzzled with that whole craze. So all that being said and this getting wordy, the fuchai is awesomely simple, big display, simple menu navigation, easy as easy gets, I like it's screen far better than the rx200's because of size alone. It may perform better in TC with another tank setup, I don't know I've only tried it with the triforce, I haven't bought any TC coils for the TFV4 yet to try it on that. Keep in mind the fuchai only has TC modes for nickel and titanium. The rx200 is awesome in itself, battery life is far superior, 3 batteries vs 2, it's a bit more complicated tho, but you have more options for TC, nickel, titanium and stainless steel. I can't speak to the other mod's you brought up. But unless you are intent on getting into the whole temp control thing, I wouldn't focus too much on it.
  2. Ok so I've got the subvod pen, kbox mini, and the fuchai 200w with a triforce tank and a infinite clt clone rda. Currently running juice 20pg/80vg (3 nic) and it seems to do well in in the triforce, but the kbox I can't get similar flavor out of. I can't get much over 30w without getting funky tasting hits, and I'm wondering if the juice is too thick to wick fast enough. Not getting exactly dry hits, but they taste like dirt. I can't seem to get it to where the flavor should be... I know it won't be the same, but it's not even getting close. now the local shop suggested 30/70 for the subvod's and 10/90 for the triforce, I went to 20/80 because I was wanting a bit more flavor out of the triforce, and it's worked well, right now the old lady is going to the local shop to get us some more juice and I'm going to try a 40/60 mix and see how that does in the kanger rigs. I'm trying to get to where I use the kangers at work more than the fuchai, size wise and whatnot. I'd like to run the kbox since it's adjustable, but I'm not against using the subvod either... I just want to get away from carting my baby all around up there. (it's been fun to date tho, cause it blows all the peoples rigs up at work away.) anyhow, am I going the right direction? Thoughts? Thanks! Also, for what it's worth, I'm running the fuchai in the 70-80w range... triforce has a .2 coil. kangers are running the ssocc .5 coils. On the kbox I'm chasing flavor in the 25-32w range, anything beyond that and I either get no flavor, or it starts giving me a dirt taste. I have replaced the coils with the same result.
  3. I considered the nebox, liked the size, juice capacity, and that it runs up to 60w. But not being able to clean the tank easily is what pushed me to the kbox mini. Some day when I'm feeling a bit rich or stumble into a deal I might pick one up but most of the reviews I saw complained of them leaking so let us know how that holds up for you. I tend to kill large amounts of juices too. I found me a juice I love and yeah, I get ridiculous with it. Lol. So far no complaints about the kbox mini kit. I'm pleased with it. I wish the display was bigger, but I'm spoiled from the large display on the fuchai.
  4. So the local shop was running a special with 25% off kanger products, so I picked up a subox mini! So another spare! It sucks juice as much as the fuchai/triforce combo it seems... (got rum and dr pepper, my drink of choice not bad, but not spot on either) I'm pleased with it so far.
  5. Ok. Yeah I managed somehow today to get a dry hit. Tank had plenty of juice so I'm not sure what the deal was, but it only did it once. And just so I'm clear, it won't hurt my triforce tank to run the 70/30 mix? And vice versa with the nano tank? The nano has the .5 coil and the triforce has the .2. I haven't been brave enough to try the nickel coil to run in tc mode yet, I kinda agree with whoever told me they avoid it as nickel isn't real good for us humans. isn't there another kind of coil (non nickel) I can run tc mode on?
  6. Fwiw, I got a kangertech subvod kit and that helped me immensely. Since that worked well I ended up getting a sigelei fuchai 200watt with a cloud chasers triforce tank, which was way overkill, but I don't regret it, took a few days and alot of help from guys here and I've got it figured out and rocking. The subvod kit was incredibly easy and I credit it for letting me put down the cigarettes. I was doing 1.5-2 packs of camel lights a day and went with nicotine level 9 and had no issues.
  7. Cool. I think I finally stumbled on a place to get a 5 pal and yeah they are 5 bucks a pop. How do you know when a coil is spent? Like right now I'm chasing wattage all over, I seem to only be getting intermittent flavor. I'm sure this first coil is going to have a short life span cause I'm constantly using it, but I still haven't figured out what a dry hit is, or what burning cotton tastes like yet. Lol yeah watching a 747 doing rolls and tricks would be freaky. Not a ride I'd want to take.
  8. Watching one of those take off is pretty scary, I keep waiting for it to fall back to the ground, it looks like they barely move... Plus with the tail opening like that, I'd like to not ever ride in it. lol Oh and here's something I need ya'all to clue me in on, where can I source replacement coils other than my local shop? I can find coils for the kangers easily enough, but I can't seem to find what I know would work for sure for the triforce tank.... Still not noticing much difference between the .2 or .5's. but I'd like to find a online source where I can get the 5 packs.
  9. No apologies required. It is pretty crazy to see, especially when they load say sections that are built that include the cockpit and say the first few rows or first class I guess, and they put more than one of those built sections into a plane (dreamlifter) to be flown to Washington to be finished. Seeing what the parts go thru, I'm not likely to ever get on a plane again. Lol, but that could just be the truck driver in me. I dog this gig, but I miss putting 700 miles of asphalt under a truck every day. Lol
  10. I've noticed ambient temp had an effect too. I run parts all over an aircraft plant here so I'm in and out alot and some of the buildings are super tight on temp control. And I've noticed when I chain vape and get the tank heated how it changes the viscosity. I'm loving this mod with the triforce, again I'm no cloud chaser, but even with my limited lung capacity it's pretty darn impressive. My rig seems to put the people at works to shame. Lol
  11. I can see that. We went from try conditions to 100% humidity here and I've noticed the difference. So you mix your own juices? That has to be fun. Root beer flavor sounds awesome. I've become a huge fan of the pineapple yum yum from my local shop. Also smurfsblood. That's good stuff too.
  12. Yeah I've found the taste changes constantly. Hit it for awhile and it hearts up and changes, them when it cols down is back to finding the sweet spot. I think I'm going to ask for more pg vs the 10/90 mix, but purely for more flavor. Constant adjustment has been the norm. Lol
  13. I'm assuming the bigger number is the vg. Since the max vg is all the rage for the clouding and what ships tend to push. . Oh and no I'm running the mod in watt mode vs tc. I clearly went overkill on my box and tank setup, I don't regret it, but I'm just now getting up to speed on how to work it properly. Lol I think next time I go for more juice, which should be awhile out cause we have an abundance right now. Pineapple yum yum is my current flavor. I was going to tweak the ratios and had it worked out in my head what I was going to try but I've since seen a shiny object and lost it. Gonna try upping the pg in the mod, and maybe lowering it for the subvod. And thanks for working out the wattage on the subvod, that helps towards mix adjustments.
  14. So in my triforce can I run the different mix, say the 70/30, but I'd just have to lower the wattage? I've got the nano on the mod now and I'm sampling the other juices my friend sent me, It's awesome! I'm thinking I'll have to get a kanger box of some sort for the old lady and for me a spare since the pens don't have the adjustable wattage. I now understand why being able to adjust it is key. From what I can gleam from the interwebs, the subvod stick runs around 45 watts. Anyone know enough about them to support that? What mix ratios are you guys running? None of what I have here at the house seem to let me run wattage as low as you guys are talking about.
  15. I pulled the little card from the kanger box and it says the .5 can do 60 max. The juice I'm running right now has to be at 40 at least to taste right I'm trying some my friend sent from Texas that are mixed 25/75. I tried 12-14 watts and it wouldn't vape. Ohms on the nano tank (.5 coil) the mod says .67 is this ok? What is your juice mix ratio? Is that how you are able to run that low a wattage?
  16. Fxrich, I'm going to try that! I know guys were saying I could run different tanks on my mod but it didn't click with me about using those small ones. I was just stuck on thinking I'd have to get a whole other tank. It's there any kind of chart our reference that indicates what wattage you can run with the different coils?
  17. That makes sense. I can't run the mod that low, it won't do anything. But I reckon that's why the mixes are different. The wattage I have to use varies depending on the juice. Some 60-80, and I've got a couple that I have to run at 100. I can't imagine needing the 150-200 range.
  18. Tam, my subvod lasts pretty good. Being new I chain vape all day. I'm hoping once I settle in a bit I'll get better battery life. BTW the new batteries are efest's.
  19. The fuchai is dual battery. Came with green ones, so I got the purple batteries, it's what they had. So now I've got backups! Lol considered getting another tank but I've gotta replenish the funds a week or 2 before I do that.
  20. I do know one thing that will be done tomorrow. I'm getting another set of batteries. The shop said these Samsung 25r's would have great battery life, but I'm not impressed. I'm sure part of it is that I'm always chooching my face off cause it's new toy, but when I only had the kanger, that little battery would last well all day, the mods batteries seem to make it about 12 hours. I've only been able to get the kanger to give me the low battery flash once, and that was on the 2nd day I had it. I'm going to shop other tanks while I'm there and consider picking up another box for the ol lady maybe, so it'll be a spare so to speak or we'll both have subvods for spares. But I gotta figure out of we can run the different mixes of the juices in both rigs. Thanks to all for the responses, I do appreciate them!
  21. I see. Gotcha on the backup deal and will plan on buying more. Now you know how the mix for the mood is 10/90 and the mix for the subvod 30/70, can I run both those juices in both devices? I see someone said lower the wattage if I put a kanger tank on the mod, is that the difference between the .2 and .5 coils?
  22. UPDATE: put new o-ring in the triforce, no more leaking! The juices I've got for the subvod seem harsh now I've got the triforce running properly. Lol got different juice for triforce with lower nicotine and it's a world of difference! So I think I'm too high on my nicotine levels all the way around now except for the latest bottle. As for backups I think I will build up to that, having the subvod and this mod is awesome, I've been carrying both around everywhere. Can anyone suggest another good tank? I was led to believe the triforce is close to top choice, I do like kanger products but I guess I have to find out what will thread onto my fuchai... thanks again for all the info. Since the ol lady got her subvod yesterday she had only had 1 cigarette. Here's hoping it'll work for her like it has for me.
  23. The subvod I got has the sub tank nano 3.2ml on it. I guess the European version is only 1.9 (according to the subvod box) I'm not sure why they would have them different versions. Backups? Do you mean like parts? I do have 2 backup coils for the big tank, and we're shipping for a 5 pack of coils for our subvod's. Trying to figure out the difference between the square and round .5 coils. Now the big tank has the .2 coils, oh and I still have the nickel on that came in the tank kit too, but what is the difference in the coils? Outside the obvious ohms I mean, what difference do they effect on vaping? Thank you for the responses! I do greatly appreciate it and I'm sorry if my formatting here is funky, my tablet and the forum software aren't playing nice. Lol
  24. Howdy! I've been in the vape game literally less than a week. I had been shopping them for awhile, but last saturday I went into a local shop on a whim and walked away with a kangertech subvod kit. Got juice in the shop suggested ratios of 70/30 nicotine 9. Forgive me if this is a bit long, I tend to get wordy sometimes, but I try to keep it somewhat amusing... tl;dr version at bottom. I freaking took to it like a fish takes to water. I went from a 2+ pack a day of camel lights, to 4 the first day I got it, and 1 first thing in the am sunday and monday. (strictly out of habit first thing waking up) and none since. So I decided if this was good, bigger is better. So Wednesday I went back to the shop, after checking at a couple others, and bought a fuchai 200watt box and a cloud chasers triforce tank. (supposedly this is top of the line stuff) They threw in another free big bottle of juice mixed in their suggest ratios of 10/90 nicotine 6. I was beside myself ready to play with my new toys... Now let it be known I'm not a cloud chaser by any means, after 2x years of camels, my lung capacity just ain't there. But I have no issue shelling out for good equipment since I'm saving more than a hundy a week on camels. Here's the rub. I can't get the mod to hit anywhere near as nice as the subvod. I can cloud far better off the subvod than I can the mod, and even worse, the dang triforce pukes juice non-stop. I've seen the videos explaining about the gasket in the middle and I've fiddled with it and re-seated it, and I am currently working on vaping down to a level to where I can empty it and put a spare that came with it in to see if that helps or not. When I first got it, it was puking before I even got out the store, but they said it needed to get the coil broke in and it would lessen, but that all tanks tend to leak a bit, which I can deal with to a degree, but I filled the tank today for work, and within 30min, it was half empty because it was puking it out the vents on the bottom of the tank. Again, I'm going to change the gasket and hope that helps, but I am definitely open to other suggestions. As for how the mod hits, I've fiddled with the wattage, on the first juice from purchase, iirc they suggested running it between 60-80 watts. And that was ok, but seemed harsh. They had suggested a nic level of 3 for the mod/tank but I overruled and went with a 6. Old lady got her kanger subvod by mail today so she was going to the shop for juice and I had her pick up another flavor, but upped the nic to 8. Seems just as harsh.(no worse than the first I don't think) Upped the wattage (90-150) and the vapor gets downright hot, and more flavor, but still harsh. currently running it at around 75watts. If I go lower than 65, flavor goes bye bye. So any suggestions for mix ratio and insight as to if I'm going wrong on the nic level would be appreciated too. I think tomorrow I'm going to get another bottle of juice for the mod with the nicotine level like they suggested a 2 or 3... I guess I should mention I'm running the .2 coil in the triforce. I do have the nickel coil that came with it still, and I bought another .2 so that I've got a spare. I think I've already managed to burn up the .5 that came in my subvod, and I've replaced it with another .5 but it's different than what came with it, the one that came with it was round, the replacement I got is square. I tried to switch back to the round one, but it wouldn't fire. It's running perfect on the square one currently. So now that I've typed all that up. Lets see if I can do a tl;dr version. new vaper kanger subvod is awesome running a mix of 70/30 nic 9, and doesn't puke juice. Got a 200w mod kit with triforce tank (hoping for less charging and tank refilling) tank pukes it's juice out faster than I can vape it, going to try to change the tank to coil gasket. but other ideas would be great. insight on settings would be helpful, I'm kinda fumbling in the dark. So if anyone knows this box well and has any tips on how to work the features, temp control and whatnot that'd be great, right now I can change the wattage, and lock it, thats about it. lol Juice, I think I'm going too high on the nic level for the mod, 9 seems to be perfect for the subvod with the 70/30 mix, I'm not sure if nicotine is whats making the mod harsh or if it's the mix. So insight on mix ratios would be great, I'd like to know what I can run in both the subvod and mod without damaging them or making them leaky. I'm sure I've got a million other questions but I'll try to hold off on them til later. For what it's worth I have tried researching these on various forums, but haven't really found anything that explains the why's... Thanks in advance!
