  1. I've spent a couple weeks with some Velvet Vapors liquids, and thought I would throw my impressions up here for y'all. Overall, Great customer service. Samples were included in both orders, and were not requested. Fast delivery, reasonable shipping. All flavors reviewed (Unless Noted) were the 'Velvet Blend', which I believe is around 80%PG, and 18Mg Nic. Bananas Foster (All VG 100% Organic) - This juice took a while to vape before my taste buds became accustomed to the banana and caramelized sugar flavors. Very subtle, in a good way. Minimal throat hit, less vapor than what you'd expect from an all VG juice. Nice change of pace. If you're into Bananas or desert, it's a solid juice. Cheesecake - Loved the first hit. Hated it after that. Too strong a taste, sickly sweet. Smells up my whole juice drawer. I had to try really hard to get the cheesecake flavor. This one was re-gifted twice since then. Decent throat hit, heavy vapor production. Champagne - I can't taste the champagne, tastes like the floor of a winery to me, but the lady pal loves it. strong hints of grape and sugar. I also get a little bit of a floral taste. Vapor and throat hit for me were minimal. Watermelon - Tastes like a real watermelon. Quite good. A mild peppery taste on the exhale reminds me of this infused watermelon chili pepper vodka I've had. Medium vapor, medium throat hit. Doesn't have that sugary taste I usually dislike. Peach - Yes. Love it. Tastes like a real peach. Nothing else. Great by itself, but I love mixing with tobacco flavors. I will be keeping this one in stock. As above, mid level TH and vapor. Grape Mint - Interestingly disturbing. Not enough grape, too much mint. Mint like the chalky after dinner mints you get at cheap Chinese restaurants. Hard to get that mint out of atty. Slightly better TH and vapor than others above, but just too chalky for me. Buttered Popcorn - It tastes just like buttered popcorn, not nearly as sweet as I thought it would be. It was interesting for the novelty, but wouldn't normally vape this. On the other hand, this is my lady friends all day juice now. Medium TH, medium vapor. The Ginger line - Saving the best for last. Purchased bottles of Ginger Ale/Raspberry Ginger Ale/Ginger. All three flavors are top notch. Ginger flavor really shines through on all of them. It's a great trio to have on hand to keep flavors fresh in the atty. Ginger Ale is more like a ginger beer, with less sweetness and more ginger on the finish. Raspberry Ginger Ale adds that extra tart sweetness to the mix, and Ginger is spot on if you like ginger flavor. These are some of the best juices I've tasted. Overall, give VV a try. these are quality juices. www.velvetvapors.com
  2. Vaporkings.com has them here: http://www.vaporkings.com/Joye-eGo-USB-pushbutton-battery-p/ego-usb-battery.htm I've ordered a few times from them, fast shipping and great prices.
  3. iVape.net - Sweet Caroline 18mg PG The Initial Experience After giving the bottle a good shake and a few smell tests, there is a faint sweet caramel scent. It's not overpowering, but it's there. I placed 3 drops on the atomizer, and pulled the liquid for 5 seconds. The initial flavor came across as a bold straight tobacco. It was a surprising flavor after experiencing the sweet scent that came directly from the bottle. The vapor production was as good as it gets from the eGo with a PG liquid. There was no shortage, and I was pleased. I've found that the throat hit was comparable to other liquids at 18mg, which is where I like to be. It doesn't punch me with a set of brass knuckles in my throat box, but it has enough to remind me that there's enough going on down there to warrant a 'smoking like' experience. The only complaint I really have initially is the labels on the bottle. The font is so small you literally can't read the flavor. Makes it difficult if you want to have several of his flavors. The Ongoing Experience Over the next few hours, The flavor started to wake up. It was really interesting to watch the flavors change as I continued to vape the product. The second stage of vaping yielded a flavor reminiscent of instant tea. I remember as a kid, opening up the large cardboard can of instant tea, and seeing the cloud of powdered vapor pour over the top, and when you smelled it, you could feel it in your mouth as well. Oddly enough, this vapor has an identical mouth-feel to that of inhaling in the instant tea vapor. I set down my vape, and called it a night. On day two, things really started to get interesting. My first toot was much like the the instant tea flavor that was prominent in my initial session . As I became used to the flavor, things began changing. I started to pick up my first hints of sweetness. It's a very faint flavor on the exhale that reminds me of rich caramel, much like the scent from the bottle. The more I vaped it, the more complex flavors started to come through. Vaped on this throughout the day, cleansing palate with nothing but water. I did pair it later in the evening with a Brandy Manhattan, and it worked wonderfully together. I can see this liquid working well with Brandy and Bourbon, if you were to have a cocktail. Overall If I had to sum this liquid up in three words, I would use: Complex, Curious and Satisfying. Vaping this has kept me interested and engaged, and truly makes using a personal vaporizer more of an experience as opposed to something to keep nicotine cravings at bay. From ordering to vaping, this has been a positive experience, and I look forward to trying some of the other iVape.net offerings.
  4. Not that I'm thinking about setting up a cellar full of vape supplies, but... All this reading about the FDA and seizures of shipments has me a little nervous. I'm new to vaping, and it's working awesome, but what happens if they pull the plug tomorrow? I know most folks say that you can have your juice stored in a cool dark place for up to two years, but is the shelf life of straight nicotine longer? I'm curious what other folks are doing. I'm personally stocking up as much as I can, hardware and consumables. I'd like to know that I have enough supplies on hand to effectively ween myself if need be.
  5. Yesterday, broke out a new atty for the first time since getting my originals with the eGo. Wanted to try out some new liquid, popped it on, loaded it with some new juice, and bam-no flavor(a mild chemical taste), no vapor. Took another toot, very little flavor or vapor. Put on my original Joye atty, and it blew perfect with strong flavor and vapor. I've heard some people talk about needing to break in an atty. What's the best way to do this, and how do you know if a new atty needs to be broken in, or if it's just a bad atty? Thanks for the help!
  6. Okay, now that makes sense...thanks!
  7. Seriously? See, this would suck pretty hard, being that I like to charge my batt overnight, and I know it doesn't take very long to fully charge on the wall. This means that the battery would probably sit on the charger for an extra 6 hours, and I really don't want to babysit my battery charger! If this statement is correct, would that mean that the eGo battery with the built in passthru is built differently? From my understanding, you can use it as a passthru while charging. If you weren't able to use it as a passthru after the charge is complete, it would be pretty ineffective.
  8. I guess I just need to have a look at these to see how they are put together. I've just put in an order, and I'm sure that it will be a no brainer once I see them. My reasoning behind using the carto to direct drip was to find a solution to try small amounts of liquids to see if I'd be interested in vaping them. I've had a couple juices now that have rendered the attys useless with other flavors, even after cleaning them. I guess I wouldn't feel so bad tossing an inexpensive carto versus an atty that costs 5x more.
  9. When I first received my eGo kit in the mail, I was surprised to see that both batters had a full charge in less than 30 minutes. Since then, I've yet to fully drain a battery. I will use it for the day, and then swap it with my spare. Am I shortening the life of my batteries by doing this? Would you recommend a full drain prior to charging?
  10. Hey Y'all, I'm looking for any personal experiences that anyone might have with direct dripping on a carto. I really enjoy dripping, and was curious as to if this could be done with some consistency. Any thoughts?
