  1. So I was vaping outside and a stranger came up to me and told that the vape will rot my teeth. Now i find this super hard to believe due to lack of heat. Is there any truth to this?
  2. wow brings back the memories, except for the fancy colors and all.
  3. Welcome! i also had the same thoughts how long my bat will last. I have a funny feeling the desire to upgrade or try something new will kick in before the batt reaches its end life.
  4. Thanks all. In terms of gaps, i believe since we seek current flow which is based on "skin effect" that gaps would hinder the desired performance. Now I maybe dating myself here, but in the past when prototyping micro controllers we use to use a wire wrap tool. It would make a very nice tight coil around a post. perhaps this might help produce better wraps, just a theory. The tool would cost any where from $3 and up.
  5. I am trying to understand the rebuild process, but currently stuck on oneof the rules. Torch your coils. The only reasons I can think of : 1) it makes it either easier to wrap or or maintain the wrap or maybe both or 2) not to get a metallic taste on your vape SO the question I ask is what is the reason for it.
  6. Nice job....see how much fun physics is, once you add vaping to the equation..lol.
  7. I was wondering on average how often do you change out your coils? I know this is dependent on how much vaping one does and power one uses. It sounds that typically one changes it every week. I basically vape all day long, not continuously and seem to swap out coil on average every 2 weeks.
  8. Welcome; Tons of very informative folhs on this forum. Ask away and Im sure you will get the answer to your questions in the same day.
  9. Thanks for the heads up. I will say I have heard a few times in a shop hear people buying juice based on color, they enjoy how it looks in their tanks. Here is an interesting ingredient i noticed in one of my favorite ejuice..Food Grade Flavor Agents.
  10. Using a KangerTech AeroTank 2 ... all i use is 50/50 without any issues.
  11. Mistafrank; Now I know this question would be based on quality of manufactor, but let us assume they are all high quality vendors. I know what ***..u..me spells out. Wouldn't the design incorporate the losses of all paths to "guarantee" the voltage across the load to be the set value? Or current depends what side of the fence you want to view.
  12. BigJim; What did you measure after you switched the meter from ac to dc? At least the dial wasn't set for resistance...lmao
  13. So basically it is the NIC level that determines if you can chain vape the ejiuce. That makes sense now.
  14. I have not heard about vapor city plus.... I will definitely go check it out this weekend. I heard about Vapor room, just not been there yet either.
  15. I have read on certain reviews "this is safe to vape all day". Is there some e juices that are safe for all day and some can only be used in small sessions?
  16. I agree, i ordered two evod starter kits from them. Price and speed was great, so is the depth of their catalog. What I was disappointed with was in the age of their inventory. The starter kits I received from them had the older version of coils from KangerTech, I purchased a start kit from a local brick and mortar and that kit came with the new coils. I went to the brick n mortar 2 weeks before i went to Misthub. To be fair to Misthub; I did not try to have the units replaced or give thier customer service a chance to fix my issue. The units were gifts and the receivers were happy with what they got.
  17. welcome; enjoy the great discussions
  18. Looking for vape friendly places in New Jersey. Also any one know of great local vape suppliers? Some smoke shops i been to do not even allow you to sample the flavors. Only good place i found so far is Flash Vapor. I also heard of a vape lounge on rt 23 up in Northern Nj, but have not been yet.
  19. I am a new member of the vaping world, started in mid December of 2014. I started with a KangerTech EVOD 2 starter kit and a simple classic menthol juice. I am currently vaping on the KangerTech AeroTank 2 connected to an itazte clk 1280 battery. I did like how the EVOD2 fits in the pocket, balance in weight, and can be used for discrete vaping. On my new setup the balanced weight is good, i like the amount of vapor i get with a voltage setting of 4.5 on 1.8ohm coils. Currently enjoying classic menthol, mango, Heisenberg blue, and im still on the fence about the Halo menthol ice. I do occasionally add some menthol mix to the other flavors. So far its been a fun journey and the only method that has been able to keep me away from cigs. There was nothing like smoking on the patch while chewing the nic gum..lol Some disappointments have been aspire tank and gremlin juice "candy cane".
  20. Earthing789; Thanks, that helps explain some questions i had. I have seen the VV vs vapoer power charts and basically it showed you dont want to go above 9w. I believe the chart is in terms of max flavor. So i was confused as in why there are 20w devices out there. I would place the chart up, but have to learn how to upload images to my gallery. I gave the chart some value due to fact i seen it in many vapesmoke shops.
