my co-worker just got a mech mod form a friend of his and started building coils. I am a little concerned as he has no idea what he is doing and I don't have enough knowledge to help him. He built a cooil and used it without putting it on a meter. I convinced him to buy a meter and the coil was .33 ohms.The next day he brought in another coil that metered out at .12 ohms is this safe? He thinks the battery he is using may be a samsung 18650 2500 mah? but he also picked up another battery locally that appears to be a sony vtc5. Is any of this going to be problematic for him

pretty sure its the threads directly on the tank that accept the base not where the coil seats into base. if it were near the coil the second base would have fixed the problem. diether way if I can get it sent off they can fix it at the kangertech factory. Hopefully kangertech makes it right.

the o rings are on both bases so it has to be the tank i would say

update. pretty sure it is not the coils that are leaking. After putting in a new coil and still having my battery soaked I took the tank off and set it on its side overnight. the tank seems to be leaking where the base screws on. I tried two basses both leaked so it must be in the threads to the tank I think. neither leaked on my other tank. I am going to try and send the leaking tank back this week if this weather here in the northeast lets up.

i guess I'll have to send the tank back. It is always soaking the top of my battery

I am on my third coil they are gunuine kangertech and I also checked autehticity of the tank through kangertech. It seems the tanks are so simple I cant imagine how it could be a defect but I cant understand the problem. My other two tanks don't leak at all I have even tried switching the base on two of them to see if that could be the issue. I am lost here.

I am having problems with one of my aerotank v2's leaking out of the hole in the coil. I cant figure out why I have made sure nothing is over-tightened. If I vape it for a short time the tank leaks all over the battery and it feels as if I am sucking liquid through a straw. This is a very new tank I purchased it a week or so ago. It came on an evod mega kit. This is not my only tank but the only one with a problem. I have contacted kangertech and they said if I ship it to them they will fix or replace it but I first want to make sure it is nothing on my end. I just put yet another coil in to make sure the first couple were not the culprit but am unsure of what else to check.

I think I have it squared away. I think the first coil was faulty. I then put a second in and it still tasted bad but I didn't change the juice. it smelled fine. After that I dumped the juice and rinsed the tank very well and put a third coil in and all is well. I do find though that the particular juice in question tastes much better if I let it sit in a tank overnight. The juice gets darker and more flavorful.

In either case I figure shaking can't hurt anything and then I am sure everything is mixed well.

I haven't had those candies since I was very little as I do not like them. That being said I don't recall any flavor that said cotton candy to me. I would try and omit that and use a different sweetener. Just my two cents and I could be totally wrong.

i am very new to vaping but I do. I guess I just figure different ingredients like pg and vg could separate. But I am probably wrong.

I haven't tried a differnt juice in that tank but I have tried multiple coils and multiple batteries. I only have two juices at the moment but I suppose I could try the other juice in the tank. could the tank itself have any bearing on it all? I figured the coil and battery would pretty much impart the flavors is this wrong?

i think it may be partly or solely the juice i am using in that tank. With the new coil it tastes good if I take very small quick pulls but if I take a nice long pull say 2-3 seconds I get that same off flavor. I didn't taste that weird flavor the first day or so but after letting it steep for a day or two it seems different and not in a positive way. it does seem a little better with a 1.8 ohm coil and if I take my variable voltage battery and turn it down to 3.2 volts. i did not throw out the original coil just in case it is not a problem. I may just let the juice in question sit for a few weeks and vape something else. what's your thoughts on this.

I think I will eventually try the crab juice. It is one of those things that I may just have to see for myself how bad it can be.

I recently bought an kanger emow mega (first vape)and love it so much so that I decided to get another tank to have a couple juices in tanks that I can just switch. While looking for another tank I found a very good deal on an evod mega kit ($20) so I just bought that. I figured now I would have another tank and another battery. I got the evod mega in the mail, filled it and fired it up. Tasted great for about a tank which was about overnight. Then I took a hit that was great. on the second hit it tasted terrible. sort of like burning plastic I guess. I tried soaking the coil in hot water for a bit than some alcohol finally back to water dried the coil and it may have tasted a little better but still off. The real question is could I have burned a coil this fast? could it be a faulty battery or a faulty coil? I took out the coil it was a 1.5 ohm in a fixed 3.7 volt battery. I did switch to a 1.8 ohm coil and cleaned the tank just in case of flavor contamination. What could have caused the flavor to taste so off?

again not looking for you to find what I like. I already ordered a couple I am sure I will like. I am looking more to see if multiple people suggest the same thing and maybe it is something I wouldn't think I like and I may give it a try at that point.

This is fairly simple, I am looking for opinions on 1 juice every vaper must try. I am brand new to vaping and am looking for ideas of flavors to try. I am not looking for people to tell me what they think I will like based on my tastes, but I am looking for what you guys and gals like to vape. Could you try to explain what it tastes like. Basically if it is grape and it tastes like grape no explanation necessary but if the name doesn't directly say what it is I could use your best description.

I ordered some 60/40 pg/vg blends and was hoping that would be fine. On the other forum I was told a max vg of 30% but that did not seem correct to me. I am still a little confused on what blends to order. I want a lot of flavor and am not really looking for throat hit although if there is some I am ok with that but flavor is far more important to me. On a completely separate not is that your bike in your pic. Is it a magna?

Just here to introduce myself. I am just getting into vaping, actaully first kit is in the mail on its way to me. I do not smoke so I am not trying to quit (well not ciggs I do smoke cigars when I can set aside the time.. I have tried my buddys vape and enjoy the flavors as well as some nicotine I also neeed to keep my hands busy so this seems like it may be the hobby for me? Time will tell.

Just ordered my first vape. a kanger emow mega. I was told on another forum to not vape any e-liquid with a vg level higher than 30% in a kanger tank or it will not wick well. Is there any truth to this? I see 50/50 pg/vg is very common and find it odd kangers would have a problem wicking this juice.
