  1. hey chase- i dont get the same buzz i get from cigs but i do not crave them either. this has taken a little time tho. keep reading the forums and shopping! as others have said both the pv and juice make a huge difference in the total vaping experience (IMHO). the biggest hurdle i have dealt with in the transition from analogs to ecigs is the learning curve. so much info out there to sift through! but once i got the right pv for me and found a few nice ejuices, i am happily off the cigs (for good I hope). not that its been that long but holy **** i am a 35-year smoker who has never been able to stop before. still amazed. hang in there - dont give up before you give it some time and lots of research. rindy
  2. Hey beachbum- i know exactly what you mean. i have been vaping for 9 days or so. i am down to 1 analog/day. UNBELIEVABLE. but i havent put pressure on myself and the cigs seem to dwindle on their own. i too love the event of smoking and dig the head rush as well. while vaping comes close i haven't felt that i can completely replace either yet - though i am still new at this and trying new liquids and pv products - almost daily! i have seemingly adapted the pacifier method of vaping and it's always in my hands. maybe thats just the fear factor so i avoid having to hit a real one...? in any case it seems to be working so far. this is a process and like any other major transition i figure it takes time. i am encouraged by the other replies to this thread - you should be too! good luck; lets stick with it and see what happens over time.
  3. hi popsicle- i ordered that halo e juice....Thanks - will report back.
  4. Thanks to all who replied! I have now ordered and just received some VT eliquid (and others) and though I admit I thought there might be some shilling here (it is the VT forum after all!) - I am blown away...Happily VERY pleased with the experiment. I have only smoked 2 analogs in the last 24 hours. THAT is amazing for me. I have smoked for 35 years. I did not think I would ever quit - through pregnancies, illness, puffing outside in -0 degree weather, yadda, yadda, yadda...And the 2 i smoked were not so enjoyable either. The only Dulcis available was the 10mg and it is still quite good in terms of taste and throat hit. The VT tobacco and midnight kick butt too. I believe I can do this now 100%. And for those of you wondering I am using an e-go almost exclusively with flat tip carts (love them!) and I direct drip. Rindy
  5. hi lily- i read the rule as noobies must post here until post count reaches 5...not when post count reaches 5...unless it is written incorrectly i take this to mean i cannot post in any other topics except this one (and of course the introduction topic)...anyone? rindy
  6. Hi All This is my first post here so excuse my noobiness...I read the forum rules but still on the learning curve! I have been using 2 great 510s for about 3 days. I received some e liquid from both of the suppliers I ordered from, including 2 or 3 tobacco flavors, but have yet to find a great tobacco-flavored liquid. I smoke Marb-100's (for 25 years) and hope to replace the analogs altogether with e-cigs. I have been pleasantly surprised so far tho haven't yet gone 100% to the e-cigs. Partly cause I am still looking for more of a tobacco-y taste. I have tried some of the other flavors and to my surprise actually like the hazelnut coffee! BUT still seeking tobacco flavor...Any input from you all is appreciated.
