  1. Just had a visit last month, and I just said I was tobacco free since Aug 15th!
  2. Hi Lilani and welcome to the forum. I've been with out a analog for about 6 weeks and find that I cough still every now and then too. I had quit totally about 4 years ago and even after 6 months I was coughing up junk, so I am not too worried when I still do. The fact that I am breathing a whole lot better is a great sign and I am not even wanting a analog at all is what I am enjoying!
  3. Welcome to the site Buttercup! Send our congratulations on to your hubby for choosing to go vaping. I've only switched about a month ago, but its a decision I'll never regret. The 510 is probably going to get a lot of mentions here, I too started on a look alike cigarette, but you might want to sway him to go to a eGo or something like that for easier draw, plus a lot longer lasting battery. That was my biggest complaint from my first e-cig was the battery wouldn't last 2 hours and i was constantly re-charging. Get him on something that is going to last all day (i.e. eGo with a cartomizer) and he'll be less likely to pick up a analog. Get ready for some great advise, you have found the friendliest Vapor site on the web!
  4. When I do order a eGo, I plan to get it from the VT Store. I like to support those who support us.
  5. I really like Mad Vapes Cinnibiscus. Great vapor and TH at 3.7v, reminds me of a big ol' Cinamonster Roll.
  6. I learned a valuable lesson this morning. As always I make sure I have plenty of juice, a fresh battery and a clean Atty in my SB when I leave for work. I had been carrying spare bats, but since I got my SB bats last me a day and a half w/ LR attys and 2 days on a normal 510. NEVER carried a spare atty and guess what popped just after sitting down at my desk at work? You guessed it. Lucky my wife was still at home and had her to bring a spare to me. Guess I'll be looking around for a case to start carrying some spare stuff with me and keeping some spares in the truck.
  7. First off Welcome to the site! You've come to the right place there is a great wealth of knowledge here. I had a similar problem with my first experience with a e-cig. I was trying to smoke it like a analog (quick sort puffs) and wasn't getting the quality vapor I needed. It takes slow (4 - 5 second) slow drags to get a good "hit". There is some good videos on "How" to use a e-cig, not sure exactly where I seen them, sure some one more knowledgeable will remember. Again Welcome!
  8. The normal SLB's (3.2 ohms) I've had were very weak in VP and TH , just wondering how many different manufactures they are? I got some Bauway LR 510's and was not impressed, half of them blew on a fresh 18650 3.7 volts only after about 5 puffs. But the ones that work do a great job after you break them in (horrible taste for about the first 20 puffs). I also have some Yeti 510 (3.4 ohms) produce vapor and TH like the LR models????? QC and a standard would be real helpful in this industry.
  9. Just got the LR 501, man what a difference. I am getting the TH i was missing and loads more of vape. Now see how they do in the long run. Thanks again everyone!
  10. I am sleeping a lot better since giving up the analogs. Mainly because I am breathing better and not waking up coughing or wheezing. The Nicotine will keep me up so I quit vaping about a hour before I plan to go to bed.
  11. Thanks Zombie! I just went and looked at those, the adapter and the Buzz both look like a good idea. Now just got to save up those pennies and get one. @Everyone.....Thanks!I've got a couple low res 510's coming, hope to be able to report back soon!
  12. This may have been discussed before but I haven't found it. I am big on battery life, hence why I went with the Silver Bullet. So far I can last 2 days on a 2400mah battery. I also like the higher wattage TH. My Silver Bullet running at 3.7 (18650) volts. I experimented with the 6 volts (CR123A) and I liked the TH, but am afraid of burning up my 510 attys that way. So far I like dripping the best but I know it runs a higher risk of running dry and burning them up too. I'd like to see if I can get a low res 510 to make it through the day on a 3.7 volt battery, but just wanted some input from you guys that may have the same setup. Also is there a better atty that I can use (adapter or other wise)?
