  1. I'm hoping people can post any cyber monday sales they find in the next 24 hours. I know Comp at Fadora Vapor is going to have some great deals w/ no coupon code, and Vapor Talk itself eluded to some grat deals on monday, but who else is having sales.
  2. I carry a high PG blend with me and have some 80-20 24mg on hand just for such occasions to keep the vapor down. this is good advice. I may want to sneak a few vapes on my layovers, but I don't think I'm going to risk vaping on a plane. I mainly want to know how to pack my devices so I don't get in trouble/raise unnecessary alarm. My thought so far is: carry on: vision spinner w/kpt 3 tank (seperated), plus extra 18650 batteries in laptop case checked: extra juices, extra tanks (empty, and my VTR or Vamo. Does this sound about right Any concerns?
  3. on a trip from Hartford to Cleveland, upgraded to first class and got chatting with the flight attendant as I was the only passenger she didn't have much to do. We talked about vaping, she wasn't familiar. You were alone in first class? I have a short leg on my flight (salt lake to santa barbara) and so far I am the only one booked, but I figured they would bump some people to first class if it was empty
  4. I am faced with having to travel by plane in a week. I want to pack either a Vego for amo or a VTR with extra batteries. should I check that in my baggage and only take an ego in carry on, or do you think I can take my APV's and extra 18650's onto the plane with me?
  5. Hmmmm, I may have to treat myself to some more Hydra's Delight.
  6. Anyone know of a place I can purchase juice with my Paypal account?
  7. Ok, that's pretty sweet. I love the look with the small RDA and no drip tip.
  8. I wish I would have read this post a couple days ago. I just busted the Pyrex on my KPT3 (again). I will be doing something like this as soon as my new glass comes.
  9. 30ml, that's insane. I mostly use a ktp3, 3.5ml I think. If I use a bit too much power the last of my juice is nasty burnt, so I never fill past 3/4. I can't imagine risking 30ml of juice no matter what. Plus I would get tired of a juice way before I used 30ml, and could you imagine several tanks all sitting with a weeks worth of juice in them? Crazy.
  10. I have a tobh atty rda I plan on playing around with at home and a pair of protank 3's for out and about. I would love to do some mild sub ohming with the rda, but don't plan on doing anything crazy until I learn a LOT more.
  11. I guess form factor isn't a huge deal for me. I have never had or used a mechanical mod, so I'm not used to or expecting anything to work a specific way. My battery charger will take any of the standard sized batteries, so I don't mind if it's 26650 or 18650, but I would like it to take a large battery so I can vape all day. I'm not super hung up on color, but all my other stuff is stainless or black so that would be nice. My main concerns are cost, performance, battery life, and ease of use. I care a lot more about getting a nice good hit than how I look doing it.
  12. Thanks for all the advice so far. Making my own box mod seems a little above my head right now (although I would love to try my hand at that someday). It seems like I could get something acceptable around $35. Does anyone have a favorite mod clone they would suggest to someone new to the mechanical mod scene?
  13. I am on a tight budget, and have a vamo V5 that is on it's last legs. I want to switch over to a mechanical mod for as cheap as possible. I've seen some really cheap clones in the $20 price range. Am I fooling myself thinking those might preform decently and not break immediately. I don't need anything particularly beautiful are super well crafted. I can live with threading that is not smooth as butter and a firing button that a little stiff or slightly wobbly, and I don't care if the engraving looks like crap. I hope to get a nicer mod as money allows, but right now I just need the minimum to get by, without sacrificing too much performance. Thanks for all the help you guys have given me so far, I don't know where I would be without this forum.
  14. Thank you guys. I think I will get some wire and wick first and try my hand at rebuilding some kanger coils, then move up to a KF when I'm more confident. This seems like it would be the safest way to test the waters and see if I'm ready to jump in head first.
  15. Thanks Heldar! Any suggestion on an easy RDA to start with? I have no idea how to figure this mess out. I feel so confused with all the info I have. I just want to go on the right track. I have no idea even where to start. maybe someone could give me an idea where to start. I am hoping to spend $40 to $70 on my first step. Thank you guys for walking me thru this
  16. That is reassuring, I was hoping I could play around with something rebuildable, before dropping a bunch on a mech mod. I want to upgrade to the full deal, but I might have to do it over a month or so. This way I can maybe learn the ropes, before going to crazy with the ohms. Any ideas for my next step. maybe an entry level dripper that would play nice with a V5.
  17. I've been reading tons, but I am having trouble figuring out my next move. I have a vamo v5, a few Protank 3's and a Davide. I want to feel out lower ohms, building coils, and enjoying giant smoke. I can't really afford to jump right up into a nice mech mod and a rebuildable. Is their a good way to upgrade a few pieces at a time. Can I get a rebuildable and run it on a vamo? I think I could go to 1.1 ohms on a vamo, would that be a big improvement, or do I need to get a mech mod first and then work up the rebuildables? I feel like this question must have been asked 1000 times before, but I haven't found the answers. Thanks for your help
  18. Boba's Bounty is on my list for next months order Thanks for the tips Boba's Bounty is on my list for next months order Thanks for the tips
  19. Ok, in an attempt to answer the initial question. I just tried some creme de menthe liquid from the and found them to be one of the lowest quality liquids I have tried. poor flavor, bad taste, and I get a burned taste even at low voltages. If your trying to step up, IMO you want to improve your equipment (like you did), as well as finding a better juice (Fadora is at the top of my list) keep looking and you will find what you are looking for, the search is most of the fun
  20. sorry, my last post accidently posted mid post. I was wondering if anyone has found any great juices they would consider to be of great quility compred to their price. This could be great cheap juices, or underpriced high end juices, or anything in between.
  21. I have been ordering a lot of juices lately, and have for the most part found you get what you pay for
  22. @ Compenstine you asked in the contest forum how I guessed. I was going to respond back on thaat post but it is locked. a hint was summer. someone guessed margarita, and was told close. I looked at the flavors you had made, and without a doubt I knew where you were going. you like bright flavors. I have to say, apple is more my cup of tea, but I am going to have to buck up for the mojito as soon as it comes out.
  23. WOW, what a difference decent juice makes. I just got my e-juice from fadora and had to try a bit before I even steeped it. The fadora apple cidar is awesome, good throat hit at half the nicotine and slightly less PG, and it tastes freakin awesome. I guess I have been getting crappy juices, I would have never known if I hadn't won that juice I would have never known how good high quality juices could be. THANK YOU
  24. ug. I am vaping madvapes tobacco right now. It is a 80/20 (pg/vg) mix at 36mg strength. I have the kanger 2 ohm dual coil in my tank, and I'm up right around the burnt taste point. This is still barely enoug TH for me, and it feels like I get no noticable TH from the fruitier flavors I bought. I guess I will get some lower ohm coils. (people say I have lungs of steel)
  25. Hi, I'm Nate this is my second time getting into e-cigs. The first time I gave up and went back to analogs, this time I hope it will work out better. I guess I'm off to a great start, my first post in this forum I won a contest (Thanks Tammy). I am looking for some flavors other than mint or tobacco that tend to have a good throat hit (lack of throat hit is what sent me back to analogs the fist time). Right now I have a vamo v5 with a kanger protank3. Thanks for walking me through this everyone.
