  1. Welcome to vt! Dont get discouraged if you go back to analogs a few times, especially in the beggining its a psych thing! Sounds like youre already on your way though! trying different flavors and trying to get the "sweet spot". Keep it up, it sounds silly but we all need support, sortof like a sponsor when someone goes through AA. with this hobby you can expect nothing but support from us here on vt. Dont ever be shy, many of us have tapatalk so it goes directly to our phones.

p.s. dont chuck your old setup! keep it just in case your new one dies or anything happens to it!

  2. Hey guys. I was just browsing random stuff... fell upon a tankometer.

Looks to be an add onto mec mods that go between the mec and the tank. and it reads the voltage you get.

Has anyone tried one of these before?

Yes I know there are VV mec-ish mods out there but this kinda took me by surprise! it doesnt adjust the voltage, it just reads it to give you the info.

I wasnt thinking of buying it since... well its sortof useless unless youre really worried about batteries...i guess. just seems to be a fun trinket and if it was 5-10$ i would probably get it just for the hell of it when my battery is running low or something I DONT KNOW. i probably wouldnt get it unless i would have a legit reason to.... oops just noticed i was thinking "outloud" while typing haha

    heres the link.

  3. I agree. The reviews on the aero tank mega weren't the greatest so I guess they went back to the drawing board and came up with this monstrosity. I'd like to give it a shot.

i didnt see much on the mega, what were people saying? leaking? not enough vape? flavor?

    curious...

I was about to go get it! either that one or the.... giant...

  4. Great to have you here!

I personaly havent tried them all. I whave the emow tank, a aerotank mini and the nautilus. Now the nautilus is my "go-to" and when my mec mod isnt putting enough i throw on my emow with 4.7v....

What Im trying to get at is this, there are so many different set ups you can have. and the older ones you get just become your backups. If you want to try different things then go for it! the Protank 2 & 3 are aparently very good. Im actually gonna go get some of those in the next week. maybe a mod and a spinner2. I like diversity and whatever I dont use as often gets to be my backup or just gets set at a different level of importance. If im in the car or on the go or doing sports or boating or whatever, they will all have their place!

    Have fun!

  5. my personal #2 on the go kindof set up is the emow. its nice with the airflow adjustment, the starter kit comes with everything you need. suggestion is to keep your old set ups in case one runs out. weve had a couple threads here now where weve been stressing the backups aspect of this hobby. especially if youre just quitting recently. you dont want to have one run out randomly or break and youre stuck with analogs.

Hope this works out for you! welcome!!!

  6. Depending on the line of work you do and the batteries you have etc. I have my mec with 3600MAH that lasts me 2-3 days and I always carry my emow just in case the mec starts slacking like it did yesterday! At work is my main charging area since Im in the office all day. I just p[lug in whichever needs a charge and forget about it until I leave.

Its a good idea to always keep 2 on hand any given day. one thats ready to go or your daily. and another thats fully charged in the car/bag/pockets/ wtv! If you just check them once a week it should be more than enough! unless youre a chimney then....

  7. Again take it with a grain of salt but I have used a LOT of different things over the last year and a half from APVs to std non VV Egos and the Vision Spinner 2 is my favorite by far. Lightweight but tough. My wife was singing Karaoke on a friends house boat we were tied up to this weekend and stuck her hand up to yell "Whooooo" like we drunk southern folks do and a stuck her Spinner 2 with KPT 2 on top into the ceiling fan which propelled her battery and tank about 50 feet to the back of the top level of the house boat. I picked it up, handed it to her, and she used it the rest of the night and most of the next day. What was funnier was during the song she did the same thing with her beer lol. I helped her to bed shortly after that happened.

So that sounds liek a successful night to me! haha

Im really considering the spinner 2... im gonna check a few things on it. gonna get a couple tanks and maybe another mod.......most likely another mod haha

im gonna be able to have backups everywhere! car home work cottage

  8. The last post and many others in about every thread show why you have to try for yourself to see what you like. It is VERY difficult to go off what others like. To me, Kanger products are bulletproof and to another they are horrible lol. Its all a matter of personal preference. Some people like to build things and others (like me) like to have things ready to go out of a package. I guess I am a "pay for installation" guy when others like to do the work themselves.

In my experience IClears are awful, not paying $30 for a tank so I may never know about the Aspire Nautilus but people seem to like them. Im just not sure what they can offer I do not get from my Davides and KPTs I already have. I already get too more vapor than I need and the taste is there so I just stick with what works and keep paying about $1 a coil and roll with it.

Reviews and polls and opinions are great but just like any food, drink, or about anything else we consume there will be some who love them and some who hate them no matter the scenario. Trial and error is the only real way to find what is right for you.

Well said! I completely agree. I ended up going for the nautilus but I too love kanger products so I will be getting the mega pretty soon and probably another vv device or maybe kpt2/3 with a spinner2... Debating...
  9. Ahhh this is where the math comes in!

But you know what... My battery was almost dead hahaha

    False alarm!!!

I'm reAlly debating getting into rebuildables... I barely have time to refill and charge, I do all that at work. But I doubt I'm gonna be building coils in a bank office hahaha plus I don't have the tools.... Like 0% of what's needed... Or else I would for sure give it a shot at home

  10. I also tried my nautilus on my vv and Im not sure if its my mind playing tricks on me but the flavor seemed to be better (running at 4.7V on my vv)

Please tell me im not crazy haha

And if thats the case please tell me higher voltage batteries are available!

    LOL
