  1. well after having the sig for a while I absolutely love it. I dont have an issue with the ohms... as long as it fires i dont really care. especially since I have been building around 0.15 so itll move around but... im usually using 70 watts and the battery life is great. no problems with the 510.

Only thing i have to do is change my build to get more ohms and therefore get more volts... might give me a better vape.. not sure, gotta tinker haha

one of my magnets popped out this morning but i just glued it.. hopefully it holds haha used some crappy glue... if it pops back out im gonna get super glue

  2. Well christmas was nice! got a charger a stillaire some batteries and a hammer mod from my father!

Thing is... i got the sigelei 100w i already have 2 stillaires and a charger.. Soooo

I ended up excvhanging things haha went in and grabbed 2 samsung batts 2 MXJO a drip tip (the one for my MX was wobbly and metal, delrin is great for winter) and 3 20ml bottles of juice!

    woohoo!!!

  3. The variety the VW devices are so perfect for that! I feel you about the tanks! More of a battery life issue for my decision but we've said it a million times: whatever works for us to stay off stinkies! Haha

Looking forward to falling back in love with the nauti actually! I gotta clean it and all actually.... Keep forgetting it

What about the ipv2? Still too big?

  4. Yeah I'm gonna run this thing to the ground and given the attention I give my phone for example I don't think it'll be anytime soon!

Depends how often you need to change them but magnets are amazing! I would be okay with it once a day? Which is probably what I'll be getting out of it personally

  5. Lol those were on my list. But I kept going back to the zna50. Just love the way it looks. If I want more than 50w I'll break out the mechs

My laziness is getting the best of me and I'm trying to cut down on maintenance with the mechs... I want consistency so I've been thinking of switching over for over a month and a half now lol. I think it's time...

I'm watching review after review on both and... I'm just getting more confused hahaha is it stupid if the display is making me lean towards sigelei? Lol oh and the magnets....

  6. Well I know I haven't been around much! I'm sorry guys, just work cutting into my VT time like crazy!!!

Title says it... I'm gonna buy one or the other in the next couple days... Going down south and wanted to have it before I leave!

I know the ipv3 might be overkill but I like having the extra power if I need it... You know us men and machines...

I like the magnets for the sigelei... I'm REALLY stuck between both...

I'm leaning towards the ipv3... But my indecision is ANOYING lol

    Thanks for the input!!!

  7. ive been hesitant on the ipv3 or the sigelei...

i know for a fact that its going to be overkill... but....well who needs a sportscar when the roads only let you hit 100 right?

i just cant seem to decide on which one... or if i go for unregulated or something i have no idea... but im feeling a box mod too.. haha kindof funny how you bruahgt that up!

    have you decided which one?

  8. ive found it tough until i really took my time with each wrap. its a killer build and it will be my go-to with 24g.

Im on a rediculous 22g build 5 wraps around 2mm. it chucks like theres no tomorrow. more than the parallel 24g but its also lower in resistance so you might not feel safe with it. went from 0.2 to 0.16.

Even myself at first wasnt sure if i really wanted to do it. After some research on the batteries i was using and seeing so many people going that low with same-ish set ups. just made sure there was no shorts and the coils were beauties and then hit it.

In no way should someone feel the need to go that low especially if they dont feel ready safety wise. but given that you and I have been following a similar path as long as you triple check any safety concerns, you should be okay.

All this to say that with parallel builds the key to it is patience and taking the wraps slowly to make sure they are pretty :P

  9. yeah just gotta be careful when youre not holding it... i have a sock it goes into that would prevent it from firing.. i wouldnt keep the 4nine in my pocket though, ever! just in case you know?

I can't tell you exactly what it is. But from what I've read across a few communities, it's usually the contact that's the culprit. Any contact that is not 100% flat will create arcing. My guess is that your contact is not completely flat and it's causing some arcing. Judging by the photos, it's pretty far from it. Or it could be the negative on the battery that isn't flat.

im gonna have to sand/file it down.... urrrggghhh!

  10. Now all I have to adjust is the bottom pin of my 454 Big Block clone to shorten the throw, and it makes good contact. If i get any heat, it is from chain vaping, when this occurs, my head is spinning and I have to put it down.

I was looking into the 4nine i love how sleak it looks!

you might have just given me the extra push i needed to pull the trigger on it!

  11. how was your pin, like what was it made of. i remember seeing your post about filing it down. only thing that worries me is what my pin is made out of...

Plus i dont have anything to file it down with haha i guess im gonna be scraping until i can file it down! I just went out for my vape break lol no heat...when the batteries are low i get more heat... im just confused about this whole thing... but then again... its monday haha

  12. In the picture the ring was crud that I took off I have no idea what it was since I haven't had any juice leak or anything like that and the little dot in the middle seems to be part of the pin just not perfectly flat. I'm thinking a sanding will do. I'm just worried that it's silver plated and not silver or something...

  13. I wish I could help more, but you have been doing exactly as long as I have, and you probably have more experience!

Hot button means resistance, so something isn't making great contact. I am sure you know that.

I did have one that the surface of the brass contact pin was not flat, so it was only contacting in a very small spot. It caused quite a bit of heat.

I also read this. I am not sure about it, but it seems like "resistance wire" would not be the best thing to eliminate resistance. It seems like something would work better than kanthal. Someone might have a little better insight than I do.

im sure theres some trick somewhere that can eliminate this... im going to take a picture of my pin... i scraped some of the crud off and it seems to be making better contact since i dont have to hit it crooked lol i can hit it normally and it fires...

I think the logic behind the peice of kanthal was that the current would go there since it has less resistance then brass (or does it? i have no idea lol)

Honestly I have no idea and im very tired lol i got a bad case of the mondays. just looking for some tips on how to eliminate this... not exactly comfortable since heat to me doesnt feel safe. ive taken the battery out when i really felt wrong and the battery wasnt hot at all so i know thats not the issue. its really the mod giving me a hard time... maybe changeing the spring for magnets would help? i really have no clue
