  1. Aspire Nautilus mini came in the mail today.

Wow what a great tank system! Blows my aerotank out of the water! Even with the new aerotank coils.

Airflow control is way better than the aerotank. I also find myself not adjusting the airflow to closed and primer puffing every 3-4 hits.

Great vapor production! Looks great on my iTaste VV.

The beauty ring is identical to the one that came with my aerotank so I just kept the one from my aerotank on it.

    Happy vaping everyone!

  2. I've heard of one, but not in the act of actual vaping. But in mod and button stuck and wasn't noticed. Things are going to happen even if you aren't sub or super sub ohm.

Here is one. Fired for 30 minutes while the dude was gone.

If I so much as leave the room, the battery comes out of my mech mods... Too risky! And they almost never go in my pocket. Before I did a magnetic switch upgrade in my nemesis mech mod, the switch fell apart and fired in my pocket. A .2 ohm quad coil build gets PRETTY hot in your pocket. Took around 30 minutes to cool down. But hey it didn't ruin my coil or wicks!

  3. I've watched the whole "sleeper coil" debate explode on the CCI page. That's part of the thing that bothers me about that page. Everyone is quick to bash and slow to educate. We are all working in this together trying to learn and progress.

I just recently learned what an actual Sleeper coil was. lol

On a lighter note, Nice build, Charles! Very tidy. :)

Looks like it is producing some nice and dense clouds, too. I hope you are enjoying the build.!

I think the sleeper coil gets the most solid connection that's all I build now until my plume veil comes in ( t-shaped positive post)

  4. Dont make mistakes..[emoji1]

I'm doing the best I can!! Haha. Power is watts. I always forget because when I change the wattage on my iTaste, it just says P7.5 or P8.0 etc.... So I kinda went blank!

  5. Welllll I went a little crazy.

Panzer black hawk mod. This should go great with my new kayfun black edition and my new black plumeveil RDA!

    suzebape.jpg

"Dominator" RDA. Figured I'd give it a try. It doesn't have post screws. You push them down and insert the coil, they are spring loaded! Oh and I couldn't resist it comes with a drip tip I've never seen before....

Kayfun lite v2 black edition! Pretty cool, the tank can be configured several ways. Fully clear, half clear, completely black.

  6. If you are getting a bad hit from the adjustable airflow, try closing it halfway. It will increase the pressure in the tank and pull more juice to the coils and get you a better hit. On my aerotank I close the air flow half way and set the voltage to 7.5-8.0

  7. Hello!

I'd like to introduce myself; first by starting with what happened the day I started vaping.

I woke up with my S.O. as ususal and he made a joke that my morning smoker cough sounded like a diesel truck that refused to start. At first I took offense, because "I am a smoker it comes with the territory. AND I can cough like a lady (which isn't a thing)" After that initial thought I felt angry with myself for validating what analogs were doing to me. I couldn't even walk up the stairs without coughing or losing my breath.

This was five days ago and I started with an ego-t kit with 2 miniprotank2's (already looking at mods?!). From the second I stepped into my LVP I knew I had dipped my toe into a community that was incredibly friendly and supportive. I feel my energy and breath coming back after only these few days, and I cannot wait to see how much more I improve. Even better is that my S.O. has completely fallen in love with this hobby as well!

In the meantime I have sent all my smoker friends to my LVP, I know its not a "solution to smoking" but for me it has been an incredible few days and I have no cravings or interest in going back to my habit.

Looking forward to interacting with all of you.

Any suggestions would be appreciated in terms of mods or e-juice.

    Happy Vaping!

Congratulations on the switch! I noticed the same effects as well! Share your story on freetovape.org! It will possibly keep the fda regulations toned down.

  8. I just built a coil using everything you wrote like instructions on how to build a lego car (very well described) it vapes a little warm so I have a hard time with deep hits but the flavor is really nice.

Nice! The sleeper coil is hard to perfect. Here is one I did just now. 24 gauge, 6 wraps and using the same wicking method I described

  9. So, I have this problem where I build a good coil and continuously think I can make one that out performs the previous, but then it ends up not being as good and then I can't seem to build the one that was really good anymore lol. lately I have been using dual 26 guage on my nimbus, nothing fancy, but seems to be my most consistant build. I read through these and see all kinds of different stuff (all of which I have tried). Long story shortened, I havent built anything with 24 guage or lower, is it worth a try or should I stick with the hundreds of feet of 28 and 26 guage I have.

edit: additionally: what have you guys noticed as far as how the height of the coil from the base effects the build? is it best to keep it as close to level with the air holes as possible, or low to the base?

Well I use either 24 or 28 gauge kanthal. I haven't tried 26. But I get tons of flavor off of the 24 gauge. When I build on my dual coil caterpillar rda I do a sleeper coil which is one continuous wire. It heats up much faster because its such a good connection. 5 wraps is my sweet spot for any of my rdas with 24 gauge kanthal. That low resistance though. Less wraps, more heat but less surface area. Just start out with 3 wraps, wick it and vape it. I keep the top of my coil even with the top of my post holes. Also when I wick it, I run a piece of cotton through the coil, wrap the small end under and pull it even with the other side. Then I cut it flush with the rda's edge, then wrap it under. I also push the cotton directly under the coil down to leave a space. If you fire this without the top cap you will notice the vapor shoots in all directions rather than 1. It seems to be enhance flavor and vapor.

  10. Finally built first double 24 gauge coil. I am very happy with how much easier it is to use. .25 ohms 5u9yrugu.jpg

Nice! Did you build it with one continuous wire? That's the only way I can get a dual 24 gauge coil to fit in my caterpillar RDA

  11. I only use sony vtc5 in mech mods. Mainly because that's the biggest safety concern and they aren't that expensive. When you shop around you can usually find pairs for $20. Totally worth it. They'll do really low sub ohm builds and no issues with getting hot and venting. For my VV/VW devices I like the efest button top 18650 batteries. I get days of use on a full charge. At least 2 days of heavy use.

The only reason I don't care for the efest purple 35A 18650 is because they are just rewrapped batteries from other manufacturers. Mostly sony vtc4 or LG batteries. Those companies don't rate them at 35A continuous so it's really Efest doing that on their own and I can't see why other than the fact the competiton rates their's at 30A continuous and 35A sounds like it must be better. In truth if you look at all the unbiased battery test data out on the web for top mech mod batteries nothing really pulses higher and runs higher amps continuous than the vtc5.

I ended up emailing efest to clear up everything on the purple efest 35a. They sent me over a few pics of the cells, casing and then compared to the Sony. They are not the same battery thankfully

  12. New build guys lol

    I need a life

Holy sheet! .15 ohm build. Lordy lordy it glows bright! 24ga 5 wrap sleeper coil (one continuous wire)

    Macro coil

Hang on let me wick it and vape her
