  1. Another thing.....the other part of it that is super intense is the flavor. WOW.......again, I'm officially hooked.
  2. Well I haven't received my SS mesh yet, so the Magneto RSST combo will sit for a bit longer. However, I received my VTC5s a Brushed Copper Nemi clone and a pre-coiled and wicked Patriot clone both 1:1 by HCigar. I checked the build. It rang out at 2.1 ohms and is wicked with Ecowool. I set up the mod with a fresh charged batt and did a couple test fires with Comps Home Canned Peaches. Let the first pull commence...... .....HOLY CRAP!! This thing hits like a friggin' train. Let me say that I am a mouth to lung guy. I am going to have to become a lung hitter. The airflow is like a hurricane. I have the Nemi airflow off and have been covering one hole on the Patriot with my thumb. It's still huge. Also, I think I'm gonna have to adjust my juice mix. I'm doing 50/50 right now and it's great on the VAMO at around 9.0-10W. On the mech, the TH is super powerful. I'm thinking maybe 30/70....LOL!!! I'll be doing more experimenting but I'm officially hooked. Man, I'm such a noob!
  3. Buttered Popcorn!!! Also, Home Canned Peaches, Apple Cider, Mountain Mist is also phenominal!! I will be trying others, but reordering the Buttered Popcorn. PLUS, Compenstine is cool as all get out and his customer service skill absolutely rock. You can't go wrong.
  4. Ok, I'll say it. There is no way to read the ohmic value of your builds in either of the #cloudchasing kits advertised on bevapehappy.com. Hey do, however, come with a good charger and batteries. It is imperative that you have a way to check your builds and a knowledge of battery safety. There are some excellent posts on VT that deal with both of these subjects. Please do your homework. I am just getting started with mech mods and coil building myself and I can assure you that my first builds will not be in the sub ohm territory. Also, I will not stack batteries. The peeps on this forum are excellent and will answer your questions. Be safe!
  5. NAVY: Never Again Volunteer Yourself!! Y'all can have those MREs and dirt beds! I'll take 3 hots and a cot any day of the week! LOL! I have a couple close friends that are former Marines and we go at it all the time. All in good fun. They are great dudes.
  6. TY Joshua and TY for your service to our country. I don't know about being a wiz, since I learned in the USN, and I know how you grunts feel about us squids!! LOL!! But, I've been doing it for a little while and safety is always paramount.
  7. Well, I'm now the owner of a Magneto and an RSST. In an earlier post on this thread I said that I had some VTC4 batts on the way. They are actually VTC5 batts. Now I'm waiting patiently on 400 SS mesh and 100 feet of 28AWG A1 Kanthal. Also, I ordered a SS Patriot clone by HCigar and somehow, magically, it has an HCigar copper Nemisis attached to it. I'm no longer thinking of jumping but have dove into the deep end!
  8. Thanks Troy. Appreciate it. However, I tend to drool, walk with a limp, and wear an eyepatch. These things don't show up when writing though. Just kidding. I am leaning towards the RSST because it is a swimmer. The fact that you can seep separate the deck from the juice well without making a giant mess was a bonus to me. I was staying away from drippers because, well, I didn't want to drip. I seems kinda messy to me and I kinda just want to add juice and go. After checking out the Patriot and IGO models though, I may be changing my mind. I like the fact that they will facilitate dual coils. I also came across the Stillare and Helios models. Are these any good? On the swimmer front I found that the Aqua tank looks interesting.
  9. Thanks guys. I am an Aviation Electrician by trade and have a couple ohm meters (Can't beat Fluke!) and battery knowledge. I am not going to stack and have a couple Sony VTC4s and a Nitecore charger on the way. I decided on the RSST because it looks very first timer friendly. I will look into the Patriot and iGO W. Between this place and YouTube I'm chasing clouds!
  10. I've been watching a ton of videos and doing general research and I may jump into the mechanical mod and RBA pool. I need to be relatively inexpensive, so a clone is probably going to fit the bill. I've come up with the Smoktech Magneto and RSST combo. Good starting point? Pros? Cons? If you're in a car travelling at the speed of light and you turn on the head lights, what happens? LOL!! I know y'all answer the same questions over and over and this is probably another redundancy. Thanks in advance. You rock!!
  11. LOL! I think you'll dig it. I started my settings low and worked up to what was right for me. However, I neglected to mention that my main vape juice is what I set at 10W. Those are a tobacco flavor and a fireball candy flavor. If I'm chugging on something fruity I set it in the 8.5 to 9W range. My Spinner has been good to me. I shall keep it! LOL! Post on how you like the VAMO when you get it.
  12. So I've had the VAMO for three days now. I have to admit that this thing is kickin' like Jackie Chan! Nice build quality. Good clicky buttons, (I had to get used to the huge click on the fire button) easy to navigate the menus, and a better vape for me than my Vision. I have realized that I really don't care for 18350 batteries. Perhaps it's just the mAh rating, but I'll be stocking some good 18650's. I've also found that I prefer the power setting over the voltage setting. I seems to give me a more consistent vape throughout the battery life. 10W seems to be the spot!!
  13. I appreciate it fish. I am an aviation electrician and spent some time working in a battery locker while I was in the service. Mostly, dealt with lead acid and NiCad batts. Battery safety is nothing to mess around with. I'm sure that anyone who has witnessed a runaway will certainly attest to this. I think a lot of people take batteries for granted. Thanks again!
  14. I got a Trustfire dual charger, 2 Trustfire 900 mAh 18350s, and a 2500 mAh 18650. All batts are flat top.
  15. Well, I just pulled the trigger on a VAMO V5 and can't wait for it to arrive! It was between this and the Innokin SVD. It came down to research. Between videos and a lot of reading, it seems that the VAMO will be better for me. My Vision spinner will remain, but I'm still stoked!
  16. Thanks for the welcome! it is appreciated. I was under the impression that the Innokin SVD was a telescoping mod that had changeable batteries like the VAMO.........I must be confused...... Thanks again!
  17. Well I've been off of packs of twenty a day since October of last year. Cig-a-likes played a big part. Then came a Tsunami G-Class. I think it was a good starting point. Now, I'm using a Vision Spinners and have discovered Aspire Pyrex BDC tanks. I have discovered a B&M shop and the juice is a HUGE improvement over Tsunami. I vape with 1.8 coils on about 3.6V. I'm looking to move up a bit and have been researching. I have it down to 2. The VAMO V5 or the Innokin SVD. Still undecided on which though. Looking forward to reading and conversating with all of you. Cheers!
