  1. The ebay case was supposed to close on 5/28, I sent them pictures showing how short the coils are. Ebay looked at my record some 100 purchases last year with no complaints, but they still have the case open. I have since bought more nautilus coils off ebay from a different vendor and they work fine.
  2. I have an issue with my VTR (made by same company) and they told me no parts diagram and you can't order parts. I assume my SVD is the same. SO I think we ordered disposable mods. I went ahead and bought a Provari and am experimenting with mechanics, at least they are serviceable. Itaste did offer to repair my VTR if I send it to them, but they won't be around forever. But you can contact them thru their website. You will need to scan a secirity code off your manual to prove its not a fake. Itaste is definitely not doomsday equipment.
  3. Must be cause I can't get it to work. Love it with 18350 batteries though, short, one handed operation, and lightweight. I'm keeping it.
  4. I bought a nemisis clone. It appears of quality construction and it works great with 18350 battteries but I can't configure it to accept the 18650 batteries (I've tried button and flat). Not even close. I think one of the threads are not long enough or something. Here is a photo:
  5. I ordered a used Provari off ebay last week, its in philly right now two hours away, can't wait.
  6. I don't think the coils shown above are for the mega, the updated their dual coil for the aerotank and protank3 a few months ago. If the mega is using the mini's coil I think those are different. Please correct me if I am wrong.
  7. The aerotank comes surprisingly close for such a smaller tank, but the Nautilus is king. I guess a need to try the Mega Nautilus. As far as the converted Anyvapes, I'm not sure where I would trim the wick, remember these are aspire coils?
  8. I don't think the aerotank mega fits the VTR, if it does I'll buy one. The thing I can't get my head around is why the converted anyvapes don't even compare to the aerotank. Thanks Charles for the Nautilus whip. I did that buy accident once and noticed an improvement, thought it was a fluke.
  9. OK IN THIS ORDER OF PREFERENCE #1 best. #1 Aspire Nautilus. This thing is a big nitch above the others for me. It allows a hard quick drag, it really preserves flavor of the ejuice. Mine won't display ohms. And I've had issues with some coils just not working but a brand new nautilus with a highest PG ratio 24 mg Nic an Macerated mash is actually better than a combustible cigarette. I don't have enough experience with it yet but reports of flooding I found always leave it vertical never on its side. Love this tank #2 Aetotank, huge advantage that it fits inside a VTR. It is a great tank that always allows a strong pull but it seems to not preserve flavor like the Nautilus, it also tends to clog or "slow down" and require a clean out more frequently than the Nautilus. All round its my go to tank but if Nautilus ever decreased their tank diameter I would blow 200 bucks converting over to the Nautilus just for the flavor and ease of use with easy to get flavor. #3 Anyvape converted with the aerotank base. You would think this would be the same as #2, but it is a distant third. It is a slow pull even fresh put together out of the box the drag is hard and not easy "sipping." I can't understand why except the aspire coil. I'd love to hear comments if I'm doing something that can be improved or you disagree with me and why. By the way I consider these mods/tank/e-juice one of the greatest inventions of this century. The IMR battery allowed the technology and designers ran with it. I hope to have many years of vaping ahead, with no intention of weeding off nicotine. I believe nicotine good for the mind, health, and soul.
  10. The normal aerovape fits the vtr, no need for the mini that's for the ego pens.
  11. top and buttom buttons don't give ohms for me instead amps, I've seen it in the past but can't remember the sequence
  12. I'm not a big guy but CCW sometimes and the VTR is about the same in the back pocket of jeans and a good belt.
  13. Its called getting attention by playing on words. I doubt there are plans for a smaller Nautilus though.
  14. I'm still new at this but one thing for sure the hobbies funniest factor is having and switching up a large selection of e-juices. With the Aerotank selling for under $15 its easy to collect a dozen or so tanks which makes swapping flavors easy peasy. I even ordered a test tube rack to hold all my tanks. Thoughts?
  15. I am amzed by the Nautilus however it really isn't going to work for me on the job because the tank is so wide it requires the adapter to sit on top of the VTR. I use it at home with my SVD. The nice thing about the VTR is it slips in your back pocket while you're working. If they made the tank just slightly smaller in diameter it would fit the VTR, any rumors?
  16. Thanks I checked their website and it does have some positives, but I guess I am going to learn DIY as much as possible I think that's the best recourse.
  17. So want to you guys want to do just sit back and watch big daddy tax our e-juice out of business ? If you don't think drastic changes are in motion for our hobby you need to get out more.
  18. First what batteries are people having success with, mine absolutely won't accept button top Efest IMR's. Flat tops are fine. I've never run into this before with 18650 batteries (I'm a flashlightaholic.) Second how do you get it to display ohms of the coil? The manual says to hold + & minus but on mine that just flashes amps then watts. I know I can calculate ohms from this but it should display ohms somehow?.
  19. more evidence of a machining error, yours the opposite direction of mine, the separation between + and - may be too close causing the battery drain (interment ant shorting as it sits.) Does the Aeromax fit inside the SVD without the adapter? That's the other complainI have with the Nautilus.
  20. Is anyone using it on an SVD or VTR? Since the original coil I have had no luck. It probably is just a bad batch of coils but the SVD and VTR are machined probably on the same tooling and there may be a tolerance stackup issue with the Nautilus + (SVD or VTR).
  21. In the last decade I'd say ebay has saved me $10k, I rarely have a problem even with Chinese knock-off stuff.
  22. You make good points but my small business owner neighbhor ran a convenience chain store and went to jail behind bath salts just last year in a "DEA" raid. Same thing will happen with ejuice. "Its poison, kids are drinking it and dying, etc, etc." I agree with many of your statements but none of these ingredients are FDA approved for inhalation by steam, which means they are not FDA approved for our intended use. If you don't care to help that is your propagative but the way big business and big government keep winning is by dividing and conquering our freedom. I keep an open mind and try to understand everyone's perspective. AND I will make a statement that within 5 years people will go to jail behind purely "kosher" e-juice, don't take this as an insult but I believe you are a tad bit naïve or young. Just and example LSD was once legal and used by some of the greatest minds in history, now a gram carries a life sentence . I'm not arguing for the legalization of LSD but it has never killed anyone just an example of how quickly things can change legally. I could fill a page of fascist move's made by our government since the civil war. But the intention of this thread is not conflict but to be constructive and prepare for the worse. Cheeers
