  1. After doing a little reading about rebuilding coils, this sounds like something I want to try but don't understand a few things. First off here's what I have. Kanger tech mini pro tank 2 Itaste vv I've ran 2.0 ohm coils at 3.3-3.5 volts and seem to like the results, although I haven't adjusted it much. I'm wanting to rebuild with a 2.0 ohm coil and be able to run the same voltage I have been. I've also read that using cotton gives you more flavor and vapor? End results I'm looking for lots of flavor and vapor, not soo much with harsh throat hits. My juice is a 50/50 mix As for the wire goes, what gauge do I need go achieve 2.0 ohms? What's the difference between a micro and nano coil? And which one comes with my tank? Why do I need a torch to burn the wire with once wrapped on the needle? If there are any other basics I need to know before I try this, please let me know.
  2. My names Chris I'm new to the forum and to vaping. I have ALOT of questions and want to learn as much as I can, so if you see several posts from me, please bare with me!
  3. What is a top flavor wick? And what does reversing the cup do?
  4. So do you think liquid may not have gotten to the very center of the wick? And if I put a drop down that hole, won't I be sucking it back up? Or will the center of the wick absorb it?
  5. I'll give it a try, thanks!
  6. Thanks for the reply, now I understand the ohm/volt ratio a little better. As for the throat hit I'm not having that problem so far, the last bottle I got was 60/40 and the one I got yesterday is 50/50 so I should be good there. I replaced my coil in my mini pro 2 yesterday, and I'm still getting a burning taste.. It's a brand new coil that came with the tank and after filling with fluid I let it stand up so the fluid would get to the wick.. Why would I still be getting the burning taste?
  7. Hey guys I'm new to the forum and also started vaping about 2 weeks ago. After smoking cigarettes for 10 years I decided to make the switch. I know very little about this and I'm just wanting to get some of the basics out of the way for now. Current device using is itaste vv 3.0 with kanger tech mini pro tank 2 Now my main question is this, I run my battery at 3.3-3.6 "volts"I believe, and currently have a 2.2 ohm coil. Would this be a correct setting? I'm wanting a smooth hit, with no burning taste and a minimal throat hit. Can somebody please explain the differences between the various ohm coils and running the battery at different volt settings? Thanks in advance for any replies!
