  1. Sour cherry right now. Planning on going to a sweeter vanilla as soon as I finish off the tank of cherry I have right now.
  2. Thank ya! Happy thanksgiving to you as well.
  3. Memorial Day and the 24 Hours of Le Mans are the two race days out of the year where I am completely useless. Memorial Day starts with the Monaco F1 race, then Indy 500, then CocaCola 600 for NASCAR. My girlfriend isn't a huge fan of those days but I don't complain when she binges on Once Upon a Time and Dancing with the stars. It's fair...most of the time haha
  4. Moral reasons: girlfriend has a daughter that I want to have a good influence on as she grows up. Family has lost too many members to lung cancer, I was ashamed to have picked up the habit that killed the most loved woman in my life (my grandmother), trying to get healthier. Sensory reasons: the smell is so much better. What is better than puffing on something that smells like cherry as opposed to a nasty campfire? The feeling of smoking is relaxing. I am a lot less stressed and I love it.
  5. It was a brilliant move. Had I not been vaping at the time I would have jumped on his offer like a fly on poo.
  6. Just wanted to see who here is a motorsports fan. I am partial to Sports Car Racing, Formula One, NHRA, WRC, and MotoGP.
  7. Considering I am about to spend 4 hours of my life on layover on my way to England next Monday, I will have to use this terminology when asked about it. I will report back with my findings
  8. I was living in Louisiana the first time I took a shot at e-cigs (read my about me post to see why I quit them the first time) and it was the middle of summer. For those of you who haven't had the displeasure of going outside in the summer in a close to the gulft city, its just instant sweat. Its hot and sticky and there is no escaping it unless you are inside with A/C. My old shop foreman told me that it was ok to vape in the shop and that pretty much ended my days of smoking outside. Everyone would come in and have to spend a half hour cooling down before they could start working on their cars again. Needless to say when my productivity (and paychecks) went through the roof my service manager offered to buy anyone who smoked an e-cig kit. I saw cool relief, he saw more dollar signs. Last time I was there picking up tools I noticed a lot of vaping going on in the shop.
  9. My big push to go back to vaping was the girlie and her little one. I don't want her growing up asking why dad smells bad all the time haha. Thank you for the encouragement as well. I am already questioning why I ever smoked cigarettes. Just in the week I have been smoke free I have noticed my body running better and smoother.
  10. Certified MINI Tech. 25 years strong and still playing with small cars all day
  11. Hello folks, This is my second shot at the whole E-cig deal in an attempt to get rid of the nasty smell and effects of analogs. Started smoking in February (worked in an autoshop, stress plus being surrounded by it made it an inevitable outcome) quickly realized the stress relief benefits of smoking but also had the downsides catch up to me quickly. Ladies don't like kissing an ash tray, roadtrips became unbearable, family didn't like it (lost two family members to lung cancer) and I felt like trash after a brisk walk from my car to the shop. Heard about vaping and decided to give it a shot with Blu e cigs. They were awesome and I was analog free until the battery pack died. Not really feeling like spending another $30 on a new battery pack I switched back to analogs. In that time I had to move back home to Texas after losing my job and have had to live with my grandparents until I get back on my feet. Smoked analogs up until last week when I decided for my own health and for the sake of my girlfriend's one year old, to get back on e-cigs. Bought a Joytech Ego-CC and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. My girlfriend is happy with my choice because she sees it as commitment to her and her daughter. My grandparents are still a little hung up on the whole thing but a little more educating and I am sure they will come through. Just wanted to connect with some others of similar interest and maybe gain some vaping buddies in the Dallas area. I am always up to meeting new people! Cheers!
