  1. Yeah the drip tip is too small for me now. It makes me feel like I'm sucking on a straw. The Tank is glass/pyrex. Tighter draw? I mean if I block the airflow completely and turn my vamo up to 15 watts it sets my lungs on fire... if that's what you mean. lol
  2. Ok as promised here's the final production version of the AeroTank. The tank over all feels more sturdy. It's also slightly heavier than the concept tank they sent. They fixed the drip tip issues and redesigned the look of it. Personally I like the other tip on the concept tank better. The drip tip has a larger hole in the bottom now allowing for even more airflow. They also fixed several issues with the base where the wick is screwed in to. Overall the tank is exactly what I thought, damn near perfect.
  3. Found it. http://www.discountvapers.com/adapter-510-to-510-with-air-flow-ring/
  4. They all pretty much come with a beauty ring but the hit on the AeroTank, or should I say the airflow, is much different and smoother than using a beauty ring to limit the airflow.
  5. KangerTech just added it to their website so I don't think it's the one you're thinking of. I do believe there is one out there but not for the Kanger tanks.
  6. Thank you IMEDICx90. It appears that kanger is also releasing "Airflow Control Valves" for the Protank 2 and 3. That's refreshing since you won't be forced into buying a new tank. It also appears they've finalized the AeroTank build. Check it out here. I should hopefully have the finalized tank in my hands in the next few days. I'm just waiting on shipping confirmation from my contact at Kanger.
  7. What kind of proof do you want? And a noob? Hardly....
  8. Honestly, no, I was just as shocked as you are. lol I live by the "it never hurts to ask" motto and in this case it paid off.
  9. KangerTech sent me a demo unit to try out and review. It's the units they're using to test the new design. It's not a final production unit. At this time I don't believe they've started mass production yet. They are still inline however to release the tank in early February.
  10. Yeah I replaced did that same day I got it. Good advise though. Can't wait til they send me the finished version of the tank. They should start mass producing them within 2 weeks.
  11. Ok I might have not said that clearly. The bottom of the wick the part that normally touches the battery is enclosed in it's own housing once screwed into the base. The wick is exposed on the top still. The air passage comes through the three holes in the base with the adjuster. So it's not completely enclosed. However it does now prevent leaks into your battery or top of your mod. I've put some of the thinnest liquids I can find through it, and I haven't had any leakage. Not through the airholes or under the wick.
  12. Update: I've started pushing this tank to the limits. Only problem is I haven't found any. I'm now vaping on it from 8-15 watts and getting amazing results. No burnt taste and huge clouds. When I have the air limiter wide open, BIG PUFFY CLOUDS, as I close off the air I start getting throat hit and with it fully closed I feel the hit in my lungs.... WOW! I really love this tank.
  13. Once the AeroTank from Kanger is out I think that'll change your mind. It's BRILLIANT!!! I've hit it from 8-15 watts on my Vamo v3 and it never backs down. Amazing amounts of clouds and flavor that just won't quit. If I could marry this tank, I would.
  14. Ok, I thought that some batteries could be x.x volts but not put out high enough wattage to use a dual coil. Don't know where I got that from. I gotta stop drink and reading forums.... lol Thank you for the info.
  15. but watts and volts are different and when you use a dual coil it can be the same volts but higher watts. Does anyone know the max WATT output?
  16. Anyone know the max Wattage these batteries can put out? I'm hoping it's enough juice for a Kanger ProTank 3 dual coil at 2.0 ohms.
  17. They're still working on the drip tip as it's a loose fit and wobbles, they haven't yet begun to mass produce them yet. They have once again redesigned the wicks going back to the longer shaft. This tank boasts no leaking because the base of the wick is no longer exposed to the top of your battery, it's completely enclosed. It's Dual coil with two 4ohm coils so it hits at 2ohms. I've been vaping on it at 3.6 volts and it's producing about twice the vapor I was getting from the ProTank 3 with the same juice, Ohms and volts. I'm finding this tank to be far superior to the PT3 and I can't wait until the final product is out. If you have any questions about the tank or want other pics I haven't thought to take please let me know. All side by side comparisons are with the ProTank 3 on the left and AeroTank on the right.

    Hello

My name is Kevin and I've been vaping for about 6 months. I'm into vv/vw and slowly starting to look at mechanical. I hope to meet some great new people here that can further educate me in the vaping lifestyle.
  19. I've been looking all over at info available and I'm getting so much mixed information. I have a Vamo v3 with a Kanger Protank-1 (Single Coil) and am currently using a 18650 battery in it. I'm looking at upgrading my tank to the new Kanger Protank-3 (Dual Coil) from what I've seen my current battery won't be enough voltage for a dual coil head. If that is true what are my options? I've seen people stating stacking 18350 batteries is a bad idea. Current Rig: - Vamo v3 - Kanger Protank-1 2.0 ohm coil - Panasonic NCR18650B Rechargeable 3400mAh 3.7V 18650 Lithium Battery New Rig: - Vamo v3 - Kanger Protank-3 2.0 ohm coil - XTAR IMR18350 3.7V 850mAh Unprotected Rechargeable Li-Ion Batteries or - TrustFire IMR18350 3.7V 800mAh Unprotected Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries
