Hey all, still trying to get my stuff together for rebuilding. I have wire and wicks, but I've asked for cash for xmas so I can get everything else I might need. So my question is, what is everything else? What kind of tools and equipment should I get? Has anybody found luck with something silly like wrapping a coil around copper wire or a toothpick or something like that? Still learning a lot, but I figure if I have all the right tools when I get started, I'm less likely to throw it out the window when I do go to working on it, lol. I have had issues with the MVP2 collar preventing the tank from screwing down all the way. I use a regular ego thread cover or super shorty ego cone when I have this kind of issue. Covers up your junk and lets the tanks screw down flush.

Every time I put a tank on my MVP it never seems to fire properly and the center pin on both the mod and the tank get pulled so I can get it to work. It's frustrating as hell, but I love the MVP so much that I deal with it.

Thanks for the feedback all. I've got my wire figured out. Now I find there is all different sizes of wicks! What the crazy heck!?! Any advice? Thanks!

Hey all, Getting started rebuilding coils here and I'm so overwhelmed. What to use for wicks, what to use for coils, it's so much!! I want to use a regular old silica wick, but what is the difference in guage on the Kanthal wire? I'm lost. Can anybody give me a hand? I need to know what to buy! Thanks in advance!! VaperKitty
