I've had the Svd for almost a month, & the only issue I have come across is the 510 connector.. reading of others experience with the center pin insulator splitting I would suggest being careful not to over tighten. a loose fitting atty will sometimes cause resistance readings to be a little jumpy especially If the center pin has juice on it. so maybe check the insulator around the center pin? or try loosely fixing the atty (the center pin is also spring loaded and seems rather fragile)
