  1. Vape mail waiting on me to get home: another 125 ml bottle of EC Blends' Feels Like a Nut in 12 mg nic, 60 PG/40 VG this time, double extra sweetener. Also a 10 ml bottle of Dragon's Crown with same info as above. These came with a free sample of 0 nic Mind Bender with extra flavor. Not a clue what kind of flavor Mind Bender could be but it smells yummy.  :)

Dam that's a lot of e juice how much do you vape daily?

  2. It's too much fun trying others liquid, if I did DIY it would drive me nuts trying too hard to get it right!

You are right about that, of course. And with how my taste has been, I may taste it one day, not the next two days, and then be able to taste it again. Or I mmay judge it as too harsh or too acidic for my taste, when the real problem is how I'm perceiving taste on any given day or hour. Gonna make another post about that, even though there's no real advice I can get for it, except maybe from Sheepdog, to get it off my chest. The problem is I have to keep so many darned flavors around now, depending on what I can orr cannot vape at the moment. It can be expensive, and hubby has already said if it continues to be more expensive than smoking was, it will stop...which frankly, I think, might drive me back to analogs. Or trying to find someplace that carries snus.

  3. My collection as of now.

eVic VV/VW w/ KPT2, Kamry X6 VV, K100 w/ RSST, a box full of juice, iClear30 (got rid of 3 the other day), X10, Cobra clone RBA, and an IGO-W.

Not as big as some of these guys collections, but there is time and space to acquire more in the future. :D

I got that same exact k100... Great mech mod for the price

  4. Hey guys, I am new to the forum but have been vaping for several years. Started off with ecigs and recently bought an actual vape. I have had it for several months with no issues, changed out coils, cleaned it, rinsed it, took generally what I feel to be pretty good care of it.

Recently though I have had an issue with it always dry vaping. As I usually do, any time I change to a new coil head I give the whole vape a rinse. This time I was kind of in a hurry so I didn't give it a lot of time to air dry but I ran a Q-tip through the Protank and figured the coil head was new so no need to worry there.

First hit tasted a little odd, but I figured I'd just have to give the liquid more time to feed into the coil. Waited several minutes. Second hit was dry, third hit VERY dry, tasting like burnt plastic.

At first I thought it must be a problem with the coil, so I swapped it out for another brand new one. Same problem.

Went back to the coil that I had originally gotten rid of to try to get back to the last known good configuration. Still no good.

Anyone got any ideas? I assumed the coil had to be the problem but now I'm not so sure -- but what else could it be that is causing this?

So it's obvious it's not the coils it's gotta be the watts or volts you're vaping at.. too high and your cooking the juice too fast to stay on the wick...

  5. I've seen many rebuilds using wicks but I've never seen using cotton so I thought I'd try it out..

Used 30g kanthal with 4 close wraps.. came out to about .9 ohms....

The result is outstanding.. I got the watts up to 10 and that seems to be the spot for taste and clouds.. very smooth without the harsh back in the throat scratchy I was getting before..

    Here's couple pics..

  6.     Really, your original post doesn't give a hint of humor. It's just sounds like your proud enough to publish that you ripped them off. Even if the cashier made a mistake, if it's in your pocket, and you didn't pay for it, it's shoplifting. You probably think its okay too if a cashier goofs and gives you an extra ten at the grocery store! Even tho she might get fired for a short cash drawer.

And yes, I am the nicest guy around, until you cross me, then not so much.....and if I can't trust you....even less.....I consider integrity one of the most important values one can have..

Enjoy seeing any and all VT members come in to the shop. But as we focus on beginner to intermediate vapers, probably not much to offer you, except some good liquid and exceptional customer service. Instead of being so stealthy you should intro yourself, and join the family!

I'm not sure what you mean by stealthy I just found out you worked at rhyno and for the sake of the argument I did pay for the tank and let the vendor know the mix up and he said it's fine it's on us.. I was having a laugh but no I'm not a thief lol..

  7. Well, then, I think hubby has a couple extra old USB chargers among all the power cords he's salvaged....I guess I'll cannibalize one of them, because frankly, although it would be convenient to charge it overnight every night and just use the eGo for the vaping I do upstairs, batteries develop a memory, blah blah blah.

I'm going to do some more searching, some more research tomorrow, and if I decide on an MPV, I will have to hold one in my hand and feel how much pressure it actually takes on the fire button.

I just used a micro usb cord for my phone and it charges just fine.. I rarely use that funky cord that came with it..

  8. Just purchased viva nova tank.. so at first I'm at the cashier and I notice where's my vivi nova tank! He says oh didn't i get you one? I say nope he says oh lemme get you one... so I get home and what do I feel in my coat? 2 vivi nova tanks! apparently he did give me a tank and I was too tired to remember.. So the majestic scholar that I am , filled up the other tank too .. You know I figure I spend a lot of money at this place, it was time for a free gift..

  9. I am still pretty new to all of this, but I'll chime in. I recently purchased the MVP V2.0 and really like it. The button is a little stiffer than most, but not too bad. I have found that some tanks will not fire on the MVP. I am sure it is something I am doing wrong (maybe tightening it too much), but I have got that "NON" reading a few times on my KPT2 and an EVOD. I clean them up and try again later, and they work. I like the shape of the unit and the feel in my hand. I would probably be considered a light vaper, but I received it in the mail last Wednesday and still have yet to drain the battery down. I do mix a couple of Vision Spinners with it, so I am sure that is extending the life a bit. The puff counter is a nice little extra. The single button for cycling through the VV/VW feature is slightly annoying, but not that big of a deal. All in all a pretty solid device.
. you should always screw on your tank just enough till you feel resistance.. As for some of your tanks not firing, pulling the post up just a hair will fix the firing issues...
  10. I can speak from experience on this. I am almost 20. My parents sheltered me like crazy. I went to a private school until 5th grade, and was forced to go to church every Sunday. Drugs, drinking, sex, etc were never discussed other than "don't do them!" I started smoking when I was 12, partially because I'd always been fascinated by it (kind of a forbidden fruit type thing) and because it was rebellious. Shortly after I started experimenting with other things. When I turned 18, I moved out and went crazy. Almost literally, lol. Got into quite a bit of legal trouble, and I'm now living at home again with a legitimate job this time and saving to move back out. I absolutely love my job and know if I get too out of hand again I will likely lose it. Anyways, the point is, I believe the best thing is, exposure. If I had been exposed to all these things I know for a fact I wouldn't be in the trouble I am in now, and wouldn't have done nearly as much experimenting. Just my two cents.

I believe you need to experience those bad things to know the good things in life..

  11. My son is 8 that I am referring to, and all he knows is Mom and Dad no longer smoke cigarettes. I know it is a while away, but I do not think he will ever want to do either. I never thought about "pursuing vaping" in the context of my response. I get what you are saying now. IN the big picture, and I may be opening a can of worms here, but I am not a believer in hiding things from your kids. I think people that sneak off to take a drink or have a smoke, or refuse to discuss sex and sexuality, or do not let their kids be exposed to things they see as unsavory are missing valuable teaching opportunities. I think people overall are too fast to try and protect their kids as opposed to educating them. Maybe this is coming from someone that leans somewhat liberal in my social beliefs and lives smack in the middle of the Bible belt, but I see it every day where I live. People pull their kids from public school and home-school so they can not be exposed to science, evolution, and such. Sheltered from the liberal teachings of public school. They will not take their kids places where there will be drinking or smoking, but go home and after the kids go to bed pour a drink and step out back to have a smoke and are naive enough to think their kids do not know. In my opinion they are saying "This is what adults do, and you cant do it until you are a certain age" as opposed to answering questions about why people do things, say things, drink, smoke, vape.....whatever the case may be. I personally, in my 43 years, have seen FAR more sheltered kids go nuts when they turn 18 and flunk out of college because they have not been socially prepared. For example there is a school in Memphis called ECS (Evangelical Christian School) and it is one of the more strict schools I have ever seen or heard of. You are required to follow the rules 365 days a year both in school and out. If one of your teachers or school personnel see you smoking, drinking, using profanity, or anything else against school rules you are in trouble at school for it just as if it happened there even if in the middle of summer break. Parents get a warm fuzzy feeling knowing this. At UT there is a tradition called the "ECS Orientation Breakfast" which is shotgunning a 12 pack of beer the morning after your parents drop you off to start college. Sheltered kids like this sort of see turning 18 as a license to do whatever you want, like the other adults in my experience. Kids that grew up around drinking, smoking, and things like profanity and "adult settings" tend to be more prepared for the social challenges that go with growing into a young adult, as long as their parents took the opportunity to talk to them and discuss it with them. And please no one on here take what I said as personal as it is just my overall opinion.
I totally agree and I do believe a majority of sheltered kids do tend to have a rough adult life because they have no knowledge of the bad things.. not saying drinking is bad per say, but could possibly lead to events that have a bad outcome.. I will let my kid make that decision.. If my son or daughter wants to stay inside and draw or play music, I don't think I need to push the kid to be socially accepted.. Some of the greatest musicians were self taught. I will make it there decision on which route they would like to take.. I think as long as your kids can be open and communicate with you, a great friendship will begin to unfold. Unfortunately this day of age , all you see teens doing is behind a computer or video game only talking to online people .. I don't see the social awareness like it was when I was growing up.. Both mom and dad are far too busy to take time and talk to there kids.. the kids now rely on the internet for there answers.. Sad to see that's how society is becoming in my opinion at least.. I shouldnt just say kids, I drive on the highway and all I see is people on there phones... Time will tell how society unfolds in the future.
  12.

When your kid begs you to stop smoking, there are not a lot of questions they ask. My son is thankful every day that I and my wife both are approaching 6 months tobacco free. He understands this is a much much safer substitute and based on studies I have read and independent research I feel completely comfortable vaping around him.

It may not be "cheap" but its definitely cheaper than smoking. I am about $1200 to the good over the last 6 months all things considered. I kept track of every order in an email folder and did the math. My savings in my ticker are x2 plus some since my wife smoked more than I did and we both switched to vaping at the same time.

What I'm saying is if they wish to pursue "vaping", they need to understand its not cheap and is only a alternative to smoking..
  13. I don't think it's bad for kids or animals, but it is presenting a lot of questions from your kids that you will need to be prepared for.. I still think vaping is not a cheap hobby or habitual event.. E liquids aren't cheap and you usually buy lots of flavors, than you got your attys and cartos, ect,ect

  14. After vaping nearly a year now, I still bounce back and forth with tanks. Sometimes I like cargo tanks, and for awhile I used a protank but after it started to gurgle and be weird, I found myself trying carto tanks again. Recently, I started trying RBA tanks again and got an RSST. Its great but still can't use it as a daily driver. I decided to try rebuilding a protank head myself. Completely changed my view on them. I run my coils at about 1.1 ohm and use cotton for wick. Flavor is great and vapor production is phenomenal! So now protank (v1) is my daily tank.

What's your coils at like micro or how many wraps

  15. I've seen a lot of devices called game-changers over time. I've read other owner reports about this device in other forums. Not close to a game-changer imo. But you are certainly entitled to your opinion.
So are you saying cheap clones can't be game changers because they are rip offs of the original? It's just a name just like tommy Hilfiger or banana republic... In fact the 200 dollar ea mod got side swiped by a clone with similar building specs but spectacular battery discharge. Now what I don't like about clones is when they do the same laser signatures like the trident clone.. I think some renaming would give the original owners the credit they deserve.. I think all mech mods should be open sourced and not some "members only club", that has the biggest wallet.. The key solution is getting more smokers off analogs and if vaping is a avenue they wish to try, I think if we up the price tag , they may just stick to analogs..
