  1. Dry mouth can be an effect of how the juice is mixed, depending on where you buy it and what flavors you like. Tobacco flavors effect me this way the most. I've switched to flavors with menthol or citrus and it helped a lot. E-Juice is comprised of 2 "base" food grade liquids, Propylene glycol and Vegetable Glycerin. In my opionion the best mix for new users is 50/50. Its less harsh on your throat. Some companies do change the ratios in order to achieve a diff result. which is perfectly safe but can ruin your vaping experience if not done correctly. Also check your expiration dates on your juices, they do have a shelf life and its important to use fresh juice. If you shop at a local retailer, let them know what your experiencing they may have a better flavor/mix that will help. Don't Give Up! Try some diff. Juices and give them a chance if you try one and "kinda like it" get small bottle and vape it for a week the flavors tend to warm to yah after a while. Just a side note.....not sure what your hardware is but cheap starter kits can cause a bad experience, don't be afraid to upgrade a little. Hope this helps!
  2. Just a couple things come to mind from my experience: The Evod has a Polycarbonate Tank which means its very vulnerable to acid flavors causing the plastic to fog or melt which can lead to a clogged breathing tube and other issues as well. Heres an article that might help: http://www.advancednictech.com/Articles.asp?ID=254 The coils are manufactured all over china from diff. companies and can be flawed, even a large pack can have issues. I have had a pack of five coils all been mismanufactured due to air gap at the bottom contact point of the coil not being cut which can cause an effect of almost no breathable passages. A couple things to try, once your tank is empty and/or your ready to switch coils take off the reservoir and attach the bottom piece with the coil back on your mod/battery device (don't fire the device) trying sucking through the small tube on top of the fresh coil and see if the air flow is any better, if it is the issue is in the reservoir breathing tube. if the air passage is still blocked with a fresh coil check the contact point on your battery for flaws and inspect the breathing holes on the bottom collar and the threads on the battery device. When o-rings go bad you get one or both issues, Leaking of the juice into the contact of the battery or around the outside if the body or Raw juice can flow into the breathing tube usually causing restricted or gurgling of the air passage. if the juice is free flowing into the air passage then the center tube on the resevoir is most likely flawed. To be perfectly honest, at the price of the Evod, I would probably just replace it. Hope this helps!
  3. If you can, try pulling out a very small strand of wick when you get a burnt taste, it allows the coil flow a little better, The wick get burned close to coil and doesn't allow the juice to flow through the small gap fast enough and you get a dry hit. Just be sure not to pull out too much, I know it s tiny and delicate but it has worked for me. Even though they are cheap I'm in the process of rebuilding my coils just to save a couple bucks and have some spares laying around, Just gotta work the nickel to kanthal fusing. I'm probably just geeking out but I wanna succeed
  4. Have you explored any other options besides the vamo, I currently use the "Sigelei V3 Flat Top Telescoping", Its a one button Mod But has all the features plus more, The damn thing is built like a tank and can fit several sizes of batteries. The kit is a little more money but you get everything you need to start vaping! I'll be honest, my company sells them and here is the link, http://www.advancednictech.com/product-p/sig-zv3-t.htm but I'm not here to advertise I just wanna help and get to know my fellow vapors. There is a lot of companies that sell them though so look around and find the price and deal that fits. Be careful If you buy the Vamo....there is a ton of copies and a very big difference in quality! I've tried 5 "vamos" and only stood behind 1 I know I really love mine and I have a lot of choices at my finger tips and this mod is my best bud, I always come back to it!
