  1. Hey Coeli...glad you are thinking about switching over...im no vet but i havent had a cigarette in over 9 days! I started out with this kit (http://www.theveteranvaper.com/ego-1300mah-variable-voltage-evod-and-ce4-kit/) from veteran vapor and it hasn't let me down yet. The batteries are so good because I can adjust for better flavor through the Variable Voltage ability. I think alot of people get cheap stuff to start and then are let down because of the taste/vapors. Anyways...any starter kit will be better then analogs imo, just a kit like this is a GREAT starter kit. The evod bcc cartos are only 6 bucks and they are rebuildable...i'll have 2 more coming this next week. The replacable coils are only 2 bucks and 1 has lasted me well...as long as my signature states below. I'd recommend this kit...but im a newb too kind of (minus the fact that i researched ALOT before I bought anything). Anyways, good luck..and all I can say is I ust to wake up and have 2-3 analogs right off the bat...now a 5 min vapor session with a 12mg nic juice does the trick...still not a SINGLE cig!
  2. link? I was thinking about getting one but they do seem pricey and no vv/vw.
  3. Good advice given here, thanks. Ya I dunno, it could of just been a bad coil I guess...changed coil out and now the next day the dry mouth isnt so bad. Though that sucks I paid almost 3 bucks for that faulty coil..not even a day out of it...guess I wont be going with a 2.5ohm...but on these 2ohm Im almost maxed out on volts (4.3-4.8) is where I hang the last few days to get that decent hit/flavor. Maybe I'll have to start looking into a 5 volt mod setup.
  4. ya i have 3 clearomizers, 2 evod bccs, and a kanger protank. I will try the water idea, because in fact that may be it! I havent been drinking water...just a few glasses of sodas per day and vaping. Let me try a few days of heavy water drinking and vaping and see if that helps.
  5. ok thank you. Seems like rational advice. another thing...how do i get that banner to always show up at the bottom like you?
  6. ok so...how to explain this...i got my first e cig and e liquid in the mail monday night...havent had a cigerette since 11pm monday...been loving my e cig...now i started with a "555" blend but yuck, couldnt stand the maple taste. So I also ordered 15ml of cotton candy which quickly became my go to flavor for the last few days. Now at first it was great but this is the 3rd morning and now since last night I get this heavy medicine taste and the e liquid just doesnt taste the same. Tried changing my coil out and though it helped a tad with the taste the back of my tounge feels like sand paper and the e liquid just doesnt taste the same as it did the first few days. Do I need a pure VG mix to get rid of this dry mouth and bring the flavor back? Is it normal to go through this the first days and then my body will get ust to it? Any kind of advice would be helpful as im contemplating going back to analogs bc I just cant get this dry no flavor sand paper feeling out of my mouth.
  7. Well I want to start buying in bulk to maximize savings, I understand I'll first need to find a flavor that I enjoy but once I've done that I need to find well what the title states. I've been browsing, filling up carts, looking over some reviews, more browsing, more filling up carts and comparing. Right now i've found this out, the following sites have been bumped off my list: totallywicked.com mtbakersvapor.com eliquid4u.com this looks to be my main go to site with the best deals on larger quantities of e juice so far: http://www.e-liq.com/products/e-liquid/e-liquid-32-oz-1-lhtml -this would be around only $50 (for higher end flavors) Anybody had any experience with e-liq..are the flavors credible, are the nicotine mg as advertised? I'll buy a testing kit if need be but just seeing if anybody has already tested or had any experience or know of any other place that might offer the same great deals/flavors. By my calculations: if I vape a high 5ml a day, 32oz or 946ml should last around 189 days...that seems like the best bang for my buck if i find a long term flavor I know i'll want more of. Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
  8. thanks for all the replies, i'll be ordering an atty with a drip tip to start testing different nicquids. Can hardly wait for this stuff to arrive in mail and get started, i know at first its going to be a challenge getting my body ust to it, picking out the right mix and right taste for my liking, but the end results, no more high priced nasty cigs and a healthier living style...my 7 year old will be happy to see his aging father take a turn for the better. Thanks for all the info and I'm sure i'll be back with more ?'s after my new toys arrive.
  9. Ya im totally for changing over to getting my nicotine from something sweeter, i'll be trying apple, cotton candy, vanilla, coffee, and others in the near future im sure. For now though i'll start with something im more familar with...that nasty cigarette taste lol but also cotton candy to try something sweeter.
  10. hell for the savings I went back and got a syringe to fill it better and a neck strap so I dont lose it lol.
  11. Alright made the leap! I figure why not for a cheaper price then all those above items I got this: http://www.theveteranvaper.com/ego-1300mah-variable-voltage-evod-and-ce4-kit/ http://www.theveteranvaper.com/kanger-protank-bcc/ http://www.theveteranvaper.com/protank-replacement-coils/ my next ?'s are these: I do not see any wicks with these replacement coils? does the protank not use wicks or do I need to order those seperate? Also anybody round these parts that ust to smoke the marlboro reds suggest a similar flavor/ pg/vg mix/ nic mg? Thanks for all the advice, hope this works, so tired of giving phillip morris all my money haha. btw im a pack to 1 1/2 packs a day guy, smoking on average 2-3 cigs an hour on my freetime for info. Prepping for the changeover!
  12. well im looking at this pro tank and its saying not recommend for vg mixes...use 70%pg or higher...im not sure if i'll be one or the other, guess i'll start with this clearomizer and get a pg/vg mix going and see if I can take a 70 or higher pg mix before I worry about upgrading.
  13. ok i'll read up on them...thx. So far though the batteries look the same in specs and everything, just the vision spinner is 1 dollar higher...dont really care about the dollar, but anybody else have a perspective as to which battery is more efficient and why? Also could you elaborate on why the dct's are a hassle? The ones you pointed out are only 2.4ml holding capacity...im looking for something that gives solid vapes but holds around twice that amount as to prevent having to fill as often.
  14. Hello all, first post, cool site, will be checking back from time to time. So i've tried low end vaporizers before, didnt like them...but with the rising costs of cigarettes im forcing myself to suck it up and make the healthy switch to e cigs. I was going to get a low end 40-60 dollar kit to get started but after reading seemed like my best options for being a heavy smoker and needing that reliable hit throughout every cycle on a battery i'd have to invest a little into a higher end system that I could later tweak to my perfection. My ? to some of you experienced e cig vets is, does this 90 dollar vss e go look as sweet as I think, or will I be disappointed and seeking even higher end provari systems (which are out of my budget at the moment). I would get a lower end 40 volt/greensmoke/blu smoke/v2 setup but It just seems with me currently smoking 3 marlboro reds an hour on avg. i'd burn though the battery in a few hours, and those little 2-3.5 ml tanks too fast. The following is what I have in my cart and awaiting some input. Thanks!
