I usually get mild cold cough and flu once or twice a year , since starting with e-cigs I havnt had any lung or throat problems colds or flu since . I'm keeping tabs on that . I only vape a little bit each day . If the pg helps ward of infection I'm stoked

I got some automatic batterys here . You need to pull on them a bit harder to get them to work . A piece of clear tape over a couple of the vent holes ( not all of them ) makes it better , increases pressure for the sensor

Cool , inhaling too hard creates turbulance which dissapates the vapor . I smoke zero nicotine so I can't comment on that but the flavor is there for sure still , its mostly smell anyway not taste so much . I like to watch the vapor trails as they swirl away from me . I like lots of vapor.

Ive had the e-cig a while now and I love it . I have a 510 and Ive tried regular cartriges , teabag mod , cartomizers . one thing Ive noticed with e-cig vapor is that it dissapates pretty quickly ,and as we've all seen if you hold in the vapor it will dissapate in your lungs too . I was thinking about this and I thought that the vapor , droplets of water, are delicate , and they will dissapte quickly from agitation . If you inhale on the e-cig fast or hard you actually help to dissapate the vapor before you blow it out . If your like me and like to see large volumes of vapor I have found that actually inhaling slower and more gently actually helps leave more of the vapor intact so when you blow out theres more visable vapor . just my 2 cent

So its the nicotine that burns the throat ? So its normal ?

So had the e-cig for 4 months or so whatever . I love vaping on zero nictine stuff different flavors , mixing glycerine Usp with tastey puff flavorings and the vaping is great . My question is with e-liquids that have nicotine in m like lets say a tabacco cartomizer or lets say a 18-24 mg nicotine juice , the vapor is really hurting on the throut to the point where its hard to tell if its the nicotine or the atomizer burning . what gives .

I was using my 510 just now , it was freshly charged and was working fine when the light on the end started blinking , I right away unscrewed the battery from the atomizer and the light continued to blink for another 5-7 seconds after then it went out . I havnt tried it again yet but what the heck was that about ?

I did check the website , funny stuff there . Also mentions e-cigs there too . Says its safe .

I looked around for a while in my home town for some flavorings I could add to glycerine usp to make my own e-juice for cheap without nicotine of course . At a local hemp / smoke shop a few blocks from my hone I found somthing called tasty puff flavorings for using with cigarettes rolling papers and it even says its safe for vaporizers . I bought one 5 ml dropper bottle of Mr. Bubble for 4.50 . I got home and poured out a few ml of glycerine usp and I added 2 drops , mabey 5% flavor 95% glycerine and wow it works great and tastes amazing . WWW.tastypuff.com

Ok thanks , I've been ordering from Canadian suppliers , prices are cheaper from overseas it seems but might not be worth it.

Question , is there an import ban on electronic cigs in Canada ? I thought there was a ban in the US but I wasn't sure about Canada. There are Canadian websites that sell e-cig products like the joye 510 but I wanted to know if these company's have any difficulty bring in stock from China . A was told but havnt been able to verify that some online distrubuters based in unknown parts will ship to Canada and the US for free , is this a risk possibly have my box confiscated at an entry point by customs or somthing

I ordered some e-liquid once and it came with a info sheet that says not to use more than %5 flavor by volume because health effects of flavoring is unknown . If the flavor / scent has thalates in which I don't know , some info says thalates might be bad

I love my 510 , if I had to choose between flavor intensity and vapor volume id choose vapor volume every time , subtle flavor is fine with me , I havnt tried many different flavors but in my limited testing I've found flavor intensity from one liquid maker to the next same flavor are not always the same

The health improvements that can be realized by switching to an e-cig are plainly obvious . Everyone should see this . Money talks and big tobacco and big pharma can already see its a no brainer and that they stand to lose millions in cigarette sales and nicotine gum ect. Should it not also be obvious that health insurers stand to save millions of dollars in health claims related to smoking.

Nice thought provoking thread . My point is this , an e-cig is a vaporiser designed to Vaporize vg or pg glycerine along the lines of the fog machine at a dance club . It is possible by this fact to dissolve nicotine into the fluid to enhance the smoking simulation but it is not nessasary to dissolve nicotine into the glycerine . The "flavors are for kids " arguement breaks down pretty fact upon the most feable scrutiny . Alcohol in its pure form doesn't taste too good , if sombody were to assert that any attempt to add flavor to the alcohol was an attempt to attract kids , it would be easy to refute .

Ok at least its a common thing . If you use the vinigar method , you say the atty gets really clean about how much longer can you get your atty to produce good vapor ? Sombody start a thread " how long has your atty lasted '" whos got the oldest atty ?

I see , I was hoping they'd last longer , 2 months is more reasonable . I will try all the recommendations for cleaning including using a clean cartrige+filler and put warm water in the cartrige and run it a few times without inhaling . Ive read this helps some . Also might try an alcohol soak , what's a good alcohol to use ? I will be buying more attys and batteries as I'm supporting a few friends now . I got the kits in after some friends saw my unit . I don't want my friends to have problems either so ill get in more supplys attys especially now that I'm hearing about the issues

They are joye ones . So they last one month and you have to buy 2 because from. One to another they might not be good ? That sucks . Can I take an atty apart and out it back together better to make it work better ? On one of them if I look into it I can see a white wick thing coming from under the mesh part is that wrong ?

Oh ya and the poor new one gets hotter aswell

I have a 510 and I think its great , problem is I have 4 attys 2 are 6 weeks or so old , of those 2 attys one has worked really well from the start and requires less cleaning . The other one has not worked so great ( less vapor ) , if I boil it in distilled water its usually much better for a short time and then its back to poor vapor and it gets really hot quite quickly not like my good one which stays warm but doesn't get too hot . I have 2 more new attys which are 1 week old , again one works great the other one not so great . I'm going to try boiling the poor one and see how it is . Have other people seen this with the 510 attys or is it my bad luck . Can I fix them in some way ?

My g/f and I started together , we both enjoy it same like smoking , we both are still smoking some like after work and later on in the evening , but prettty much i vape all day long . Vaping gets my mind off constantly thinking about smoking and lighting up .I leave the burnables at home and vape instead . We both think its great that we've cut down . Once you've paid for your kit to keep your vapor going is cheeeeap compared to burnables

If its zero nicotine how can it be equivalent to an analog
