Alright Vt friends my Joye 510 arrived from awesomevapor.com and props out to arno for the great customer svc for a noobie I plugged them both in last night and this morning and just now sat down and took my first Vape besides the buzz I now have all I can is WOW now I understand what everyone spoke about and now can see my turning the page on my addiction to cigarettes over and finally closing that book of a horror story to me once again I think each and everyone of you for all your helpful insights encouragement and support and am glad to have become apart of a grouped family that is right there when ya need em I love the cherry but at 36 mg whew dang I gotta dilute this chit its got my head buzzin LOL And I did drip I didn't load it in a cart got a great vape lots of smoke but even more a great taste the preloaded not to sweet on but I have marlbone and ry4 from awesome vapor I'm gonna try out as well but love the cherry and now that I am a Vapin addict I gotta go grab me some Dulce !!!! its odd I see you guys talk about this as I went to wal-mart today I had my mom on the celly chit chatting to her and she asked what I had to buy as I laughed with her and explained what the glycerin was for her first comment Was," WHY are you constipated ?" LMAO needless to say after dropping the phone almost running off the road laughing so hard I fully explained that my purpose for getting the glycerin was for and that no Mom I'm not constipated, her instant reply was well "back in the day before other laxatives thats what we took if you were we had to drink it or castor oil and I hated both" so my view clicked agian if a woman in her 70's has took and is in great health how can anyone doubt that it is harmful to us today just had to share that I'm still laughing at the moment of generalise incident that my mom would ask me that outta the blue I had no clue it was used for those purposes. just came across this thread shared some ideas with keenan but I'm wondering even though this is a dated thread if anyone has looked into the actual and possibilty that vaping also has a carb intake or possibly the glycerin or flavoring does. For me being a type 2 diabetic I have to watch carbs along with sugar it isn't always sugar thats the enemy example thanksgiving holiday my mom makes a killer stuffing one table spoon full will make my glucose level go from 110 up to 145 in ten minutes and its the amount of carbs in the breading and broth so since we don't have a lab to do studies and we are all attempting to show our governmant and the FDA that vaping isn't hazardous I will offer out my experiences with this once I get my products and also my chats with others and see what we can confirm and throw out so we all can have a great enjoyment to vape as we please . with out harm or censor!!! HEY Luck first off welcome to VT I'm a noob as well and am waiting on my joye 510 to come from awesomevapor.com there are youtube videos I have seen that when you puncture the foil of the cartridge you need to take the small piece that may stick and lay on the top of your atty also the video showed using a toothpick or a small needle to totally remove the foil from the prefilled carts to get the perfect vape hit and smoke along with the throat sensation. good luck Welcomes ya to the Noob Crew LOL peace and Vape out !!! Hey Thanks for al the positive replies when my 510 gets here I will follow your guidelines to the atty's and in cleaning McQuinn are you still using the dental tablets also along with the distilled water sorry I'm sureit works but I'm amused by that and curious if you do or don't and if I should more out of watching it fizz and work on the atty lol !! thanks again like I said to you all answering a possible repeated question I will look deeper into the frums and see the threads for attys and care of! Hey folks Angel here listen I been roaming through the forum and hear veterans speak of a new atty break in period and thats when you start really getting that perfect vape and hit,what the time period on this I even watched grimmgreen's video on the joye 510 review and he spoke of it but didn't give a length of time it takes so answer to this would be great and appreciated and then I saw in the noobs forum that MCQUINN spoke of he cleaned his atty by submersing it in denture tablets and rinsing it off under hot water I have used dental tabs for other cleaning purposes but I didn't think the atty could be completely submersed in water like that and some have spoke of using alcohol (IP) to clean with also for harsh residue build up I guess I am just under the impression that atty's are sensitive and not something you want to rough handle around to have them last on you. I appreciate all who answer my question as I will have a million and one during my noobie stage of learning to Vape so I give thanks to all of you who may be answering a question that was already posted. Thanks Highly for this post I have been reading on how Vg can raise glucose levels and in being a diabetic this is something I will have to learn to monitor in my daily intake of along with foods,however it still doesn't beat being able to walk away from analogs and possibly getting some health issues back under control.
