  1. I saw on Facebook that someone is about to start selling a pipe bowl that attaches to the butt end of an eGo battery. It looks like a pipe, but it doesn't have any parts to it. It looks awkward to use and I can't picture it taking off.

  2. So I didn't file any notches, I took it apart. (Not sure if it's made to, but I did. ) ^_^ I took apart the system and popped off one of the o-rings, and then turned the bottom of the atomizer for kicks, with a small flat head. Put it back together, and it worked!

If anyone has an old one that doesn't work, maybe turning the center of the bottom on the inside ( the bottom that connects to the battery) Not sure exactly how it changed anything, but it's firing now.

Possibly this may help someone in the future. The tank bottom part is battered , but cosmetic appearances are no biggie to me.Not sure how or why this worked, maybe someone more technical could explain.

How did you take it apart and how did you put it back together? Since the bottom is battered, it sounds like its a press fit, and you twisted off the base with a pair of pliers. Have you had any leakage problems after you pressed it back together?

  3. I have an anxiety disorder that surfaced about 6 months ago for no apparent reason. Had been prescribed Xanax then Klonopin then back to Xanax. Was taking 3-4 a day just to get through work. Tried everything. Started a vitamin regimen, started eating healthier, cut aspartame out of my diet, meditating etc... but was still having attacks daily.

Today marks my 2 week mark of dropping the analogs and haven't had an attack in over a week and haven't taken more than one Xanax any day since, the last few days I have taken none. For me I think dropping the analogs have helped in this regard.

I had quit analogs nearly four years ago when stress got me started vaping at the beginning of this year. I was on Xanax and other anxiety drugs too. I've gotten off the pills, so vaping does seem to help.

  4. I had quit smoking for almost four years before stress and anxiety led me to ecigarettes. Even at 24mg of nicotine, I don't feel the kick I remember from even ultralight analogs, but the experience is at least pleasurable, and enough to keep me from the real thing.

  5. I cleaned and dry burned two of my Stardusts last night, but now I have hardly any vapor and they both taste burnt. I shook out as much water as I could before I started the dry burns, but it took abouit 15 minutes each before the coils started glowing red.

For each burn I had to hold the power switch so long that the power switch started flashing before any "smoke" came out. What did I do wrong?

  6. I would recommend a boge LR (2.0ohm) carto for that. They work great. With the low resistance coil in it the lower power pushed by that ego battery is plenty. I'm glad you are enjoying it. Is it working as well as your starter kit I hope?

Thanks for the info. :) The eGo-C is working great and is definitely a stronger hit and longer lasting battery than my Apollo KR808D. I've been alternating between the two with different flavors and that works well too. The KR works a little better at work for a quick stealth vape or two because of less vapor.

I've bought some more juices and a couple drip tips to play with along with the rest of your goodies. This is so much more fun and satisfying than boring old analog cigarettes. :)

  7. Thanks again guys and gals! I'm starting my fourth week of vaping and couldn't be happier. So far I haven't tried a flavor that I didn't like or couldn't stand. It's great to be able to sneak into the bathroom or an empty staircase for a few stealth puffs when the stress builds up at work.

Now I've started thinking about how much I enjoyed the taste of those little Back & Mild cigars. Someone linked to this concentrate: http://vapingzone.com/product-info.php?Black___Mild_Concentrated_Flavor_-pid535.html but I don't think I'm ready to start mixing my own yet. Has anyone found a good pre-mixed Black & Mild cigar flavor that they like?

  8. I had already quit analogs before I got my current job. Knowing that my insurance would be $60/month more if I was a smoker, plus the cost of cigarettes, helped keep me off them. Then I saw in the benefits signup package that the extra premium was for tobacco use.

Insurance reps were on site answering questions one day, so I asked three or four of them separately about electronic cigarettes. They said they are considered a nicotine delivery system, just like the patch and the gum. Since they don't contain tobacco, there would be no increased premium. :)

  9. Thanks for all the replies and support guys. My Apollo Standard Starter Kit and the juices I bought from mse12 (plus extras!) both arrived today. I have tried a couple of the flavors in the variety pack so far and have to say I am thrilled with the experience. I am already hooked on vaping and since I hadn't smoked for four years, I can't see myself ever wanting a "real" cigarette again.

  10. Greetings! I smoked a pack a day for 45 years, although most of that was on ultra-lights. I quit almost four years ago with Chantix, but I have gained a bunch of weight and am now on anti-anxiety pills for my nerves and jitters. I always make a point of parking at the other end of the parking garage at work, so I can walk through the smoking section. They still smell so good, but I haven't had a puff since I quit.

I never had these kinds of problems when I smoked. Other than my taste and smell improving, I haven't noticed any other benefits. I'm still as short of breath as I used to be and I think I'm eating more to replace the pleasure and habit of smoking. For those reasons I have decided to give E cigs a try to see if I can cut down on my appetite and medications.

I bought an Apollo Standard Starter Kit, in part because they had a 25% coupon and it comes with a PCC. I chose their 12mg variety flavor pack and also bought some of mse12's flavor bottles too. They should both be here tomorrow,so I'm ready to give them a shot.

Have any of you been in the same boat after being off analogs for so long, and has vaping helped?

    Thanks,

    Jim
