First, I know its a little OT to the thread title, but I just received my dulcis and mentha and they are AWESOME... and the shipping was super fast... so if anyone from the VT team is reading, thank you! I am very happy! now... as i was vaping in my car today I started thinking about the financial/business end of e-cigs... and, I was curious... do any of the producers of devices/juices (preferably American) have stock for sale? If it was available I would be very happy throwing some money their way... What do you guys think? -Alucard

I've been off the analogs for 37 days ... and I know some people would argue that I never start vaping... but I enjoy the experience and habit so much and it has always been the best relaxation tool for me that I constantly find myself craving an analog... but, I held off and eventually found out about e-cigs online and have decided to go this route... and as far as I'm concerned (despite what some ignorant individuals may think) I did quit and haven't gone back... I just haven't been able to find something as satisfying to replace it... I've really tried everything, and have come to the conclusion that it is the actual inhalation/throat hit part of the whole process that I derive pleasure from... so it has never been possible to replace that with food/patches/gum(nicotine or otherwise)...etc etc etc... I even tried other "oral" solutions like chewing on toothpicks... but it just hasn't been fulfilling... so thats my story... I think this is going to work out nicely... I only hope that our "trusted government officials" will be reasonable and regulate the industry without taking this incredible invention away from us entirely (either way I'll never return to the analogs) -Alucard

Well folks, Today I got my first e-cig kit (Joye 510) and have been experimenting with it since... after going through 2 of the carts that came with it throughout the day/evening I just popped the third in to discover GREAT vapor, throat hit and taste! I am not overly impressed with the marlboro juice that came with this kit and hope the dulcis and mentha will pack more of a punch and intricate flavor...So I guess that my first atomizer is officially broken in now and it makes quite a difference... the 510 is a good size for me and great for the car and taking out in public... I do want to get something with a longer battery life in the future ... and I am curious about (battery operated) 6 volts now... I know that there are relatively few at the time, but hopefully that changes in the future... The silver bullet and the spade have me intrigued at the moment... but I need to do more research before I make a decision... the silver bullet would be great for at home, but I fear a little too obtrusive in public... Does anyone know anything about the up and coming e-cig from dietsmokes.com called "THE MASERATI"? Just thought I'd share my first "real" impressions... -Alucard

Hey guys, First, let me thank everyone that was kind enough to welcome me to the boards and help me with my first slew of questions... Well, after several eagerly anticipated days I have finally received my first e-cig... a joye 510... but now I have yet more questions... First, do I need to charge the battery for 8 hours as it says in the instruction manual? I ask because when I plugged the battery in it turned green after about 15 minutes... (and obviously I'm itching to get started)... also... I've looked all of the pieces over and figured out how it all goes together but as I have not yet received my first bottle of juice I only have the carts it came with to work with... and the fill hangs out of the bottom slightly... is this how its supposed to be or should it be pushed in so as to avoid the fill from touching the insides of the atomizer... or is that not an issue? -Alucard

When I first discovered e-cigs two days ago never would have I imagined how many people would be active (and very friendly) in the community. Thank you all so far for your help and suggestions... I think that I'll order a 10ml mentha and a 10ml dulcis from the VT store today... How long does a bottle usually last you? I was a moderate smoker (1/2 pack per day)... if that helps you with an estimation... -Alucard

Hello one and all! My name is Alucard and I have just entered into the world of e-cigs... I have just ordered my first e-cigarette kit. After doing some research (including a lot of help from browsing topics in this forum and Chris' youtube videos) I settled on a great deal they had at cignot.com for two joye 510's... They should be arriving either today or tomorrow and I'm excited to try this out... After reading to more depth in some threads here however it seems that the five cartridges included in my kit may not last as long as I had at first thought... So, I'll want to try refilling these carts (that is as possible and simple as it seems to me, right?) or direct drip once they run out... My question is what would the best juice be for someone like me that wants the taste of tobacco with a good solid throat hit... I checked out many of the suppliers websites (at Chris' direction to another noobie) but have not found a lot of reviews on specific juices... So what are your favorites and where can they be found? I also have another question... Although I have yet to vape I already know that vapor production is going to be a priority for me and the 510 seems to do a good job of this, but in Chris' most recent youtube video the VP Spade seems to do an amazing job... but what is the spade exactly? I ask this question because he said that it uses a 510 atomizer... unless 510 is a size and not a make... I'm slightly confused there... lol... I guess what I eventually want (if I get into this e-cig thing as much as I'd like to) is something around the size of the joye 510 (not as big as a pen-style but not a mini) that is going to produce a good amount of vapor and a good throat hit.... All comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated! -Alucard
