The Spade is a mod that VT sells. It's basically a custom battery with a 510 atomizer that gives all the greatness of the 510 without the sucky battery life. They have some pictures and video of it in the Vapor Talk Store.

Actually, I think you've mixed it down to 27mg. (75% of 36) I'm glad to hear it's working out for you, because I was just thinking of picking up some VG tomorrow.
Lol well I figured I would say 24 for simplicity since 24 is common and 27 is not, and considering I just "eyeballed" it, it's just roughly somewhere in the ballpark.
The Glycerin I got was at Wal-Mart and in the skin care isle. It's labeled Glycerin USP Skin Protectant. I feel safe using it as I've seen many threads hashing it out on ecf, with pharmacist and chemist involved, and according to them all Glycerin, USP is the same.

So for the past couple of weeks my mouth and throat have been getting pretty sore after vaping, even with drinking lots of water/brushing/mouthwash etc. I could feel everything get more sore the more I vaped, and if I quit vaping for even an hour I could feel it getting better. I have some VG juice on the way, but decided I didn't want to wait and keep smoking analogs until then.
I decided to purchase some USP Glycerin and see if diluting my juice with it helped my soreness. I mixed it 1/4 Glycerin to 3/4 juice, and although it pretty much took away the taste of the juice, I've been vaping like a mad man for the past 2 hours (so much I drained a freshly charged spade batt in that 2 hours) and everything feels fine! I know it diluted the nic as well, I'm assuming with a 25%-75% mix it would turn my 36mg into 24mg, but it seems even lower to me. The good news is even getting smaller amounts of nic through vaping, the amounts that I am getting should keep me from smoking quite as much until my VG juice gets here!
Anyway I was just excited that I can vape more again and thought I'd post. Plus I hear that we all get $20 spades and free juice for life once we gain access to the private forum, so I'm working on that as well!

I would say whatever tattoo one gets, goes to character. Therefore whatever tats he has SHOULD prejudice the jury. Sadly they will try to make sure the jury never knows this guy has a swastika on his neck and barbed wire on his face, or the fact that he has already tried to break out of prison. To me, any actions by a defendant while in jail after a crime, should be admitted as evidence to show a jury who they may set free.

I thought I welcomed Ray but I guess I skipped over him (sorry Ray) so now I'll say Welcome Ray! This forum is a great place with plenty of people that can answer any of your questions about vaping. I would recommend not buying too much juice until you are sure of your nicotine level. I had to start at 36mg and hadn't planned on changing it, but honestly now I'm hoping to get down to 24 just because it opens up so many more options for juice.

Do all 17,000 posts have to be here? I may or may not have 17,000 forum posts of 3 paragraphs or more that include the word abstemious at least 3 times in all forums combined. Of course, I still wouldn't be eligible because when I traveled to Gadansk in February, it was on a Buffalo, not a yak. Dang!

Lol if it's anything like the private areas I've been in on other forums, it's main function is to teach you that yes, life is still full of disappointments! LOL. I've had access to a few private forums, and man, they are usually dead, but sometimes fun since you typically aren't quite as limited on what you can post.

Everclear doesn't just "clean out" atomizers! I think you should tell us a story about the day after, Travis.
Lol I never really had any problems with it. When I was 15 or so I was probably an alcoholic. A friend that would give me a ride to school kept everclear in his car and I would sip on it before school. There is absolutely no way I could or would drink the stuff now. If it's not Crown Royal I don't want to touch it, and I find myself drinking at all less and less these days. Everclear is some bad, bad stuff to be honest. The only people I've ever known to drink it was broke kids with very little money lol.

That is a good idea. Was also thinking maybe suppliers could include a VT card or some note about VT when they ship out orders. Might improve success rates.
On a similar note, when I first started investigating ecigs, I started with google/yahoo searches for "electronic cigarette" and what I got was Smoking Anywhere and a lot of shady looking sites. After quite a bit of looking I started noticing the work "vapor" a lot, so I searched for "vapor cigarette" and that's when I found VT. Not sure how search engines work, but would be good if you could get this site picked up under some other key works like "ecig", "electronic cigarette", etc.
If I search Electronic Cigarette, my first results are electroniccigarettesinc, ecf and smokeless delite. Maybe it's because I have visits to those pages through google?
At any rate, Chris, if google still works the same way as it used to with page ranking, if some of the vendors were willing to link back to you with e-cig or electronic cigarette forum or something in the link description, it would raise your rank for those searches a lot.

In my younger days when I was already pretty wasted and down to nothing but everclear and nothing to mix it with, I drank it straight. I wasn't feeling any pain by then anyway, and was still drunk for most of the following day, but yeah, it's not something I recommend.
Of course, at parties a couple of us love to get people with it. We would take 2 shot glasses, one with everclear and one with water. Tell someone "betcha can't do this" and take the water shot, ask like it was stout, and hand the everclear to the unsuspecting victim. It wil knock some people to the floor, lmao. Man we were cruel.
And yes, everclear is stout enough to run a car off of. It will actually run very, very good for a while. It's stouter than gas.

To try to be a little more clear. The Spade is basically a battery holder with a switch and connection for your atomizer. The battery its self is simply a rechargeable battery that inserts into the spade. You have to have both since you obviously can't hook your atomizer up to a AAA type battery. You will get more battery life out of a mega of course, but if you have a PCC the mega will not work in it.

I don't think you are allergic to PG. Vaping will cause your mouth to dry out, it's important when you vape that you drink plenty of fluids to keep your mouth moist. It's also important that you keep your carts clean especially if you are direct dripping because your using the same cart over and over again. Take an alcohol swab to the mouth piece every night or change it out.
Lol since I'm drinking lots of water/tea/coffee and have some VG on the way, I kinda hope you are wrong! Of course, not really needing the 50ml of VG I ordered would be better than not being able to use the hundreds of Ml's I currently have. I do keep my carts clean and wash/replace my filler pretty often, but my mouth is pretty sore. The roof of my mouth is sore and itches like crazy, my tongue is sore and feels "burnt" and I get slight bumps on the back of my tongue.
Hopefully VG clears it up because if not, I can't drink more than I already am, and think at this point I'd rather go back to analogs than deal with this constantly.

Honestly I'm tired of it right now and have been smoking as much as I'm vaping, but I think thats just because I seem to be having a reaction to the PG. My mouth has been sore for a week, and originally I thought I just got too much juice in my mouth and was suffering the consequences, but the more time that goes by the more I think maybe I'm allergic. I have some VG juice on the way and hopefully, I'll love vaping once again! For now, my tongue feels burnt and I can't really taste any flavors.

What size straw and type of fill and how much are you using..
I'm not using a straw with this mod, as I haven't had a reason for it. A coffee stirrer or a cut cheap hollow q-tip should be ideal. As far as fill, the empty carts I have are not just polyfill, they have a teflon type stuff down one side. It's not actually teflon, but thats the best way I can describe it. I cut that stuff off, and use about half of what is left.

As kind of a touching follow up to this story that I just heard from one of my friends that is a Deputy that worked with this man, when the officers father was on his way here after getting the news, he got pulled over for speeding in Dallas Tx. The officers father told the officer that pulled him over, that he didn't mean to be rude, but could he please just hurry up and write the ticket as his son was an officer and was killed responding to a call and he was trying to get there. The officer in Dallas stepped back, saluted the father, and the father received a police escort the rest of the way here. Every time they hit a county line, there would be another officer waiting to continue the escort.
I realize that many people do not like cops, and some of them for good reason I suppose after coming into a contact with a "bad apple". However, I do believe that not all officers are power hungry bullies, and the vast majority of them do what they do because they really want to do what they can to make a positive difference in their community. I just wish the rest of us could learn from these officers, that even in other counties/states, believe in a brotherhood and stand united together.

I used to use Linux exclusively on my old laptop. I ended up getting a new laptop and just never got around to installing it on here, as I notice I do less and less on the computer these days. If you want to try Linux, finding the right distro can become a pain, but I highly recommend PCLinuxOS. I haven't spent any time on their forums in quite a while, but it used to have some very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful people on it that tried to help newcomers rather than attack them.
You can find the popular distributions at www.distrowatch.com. A lot of Distro's these days run a live cd, so you can boot to your cd and play around with it and see if you like it before installing it.

Hi everyone. I typically don't like to invoke religion in a public forum, but if you aren't religious just please simply ignore my request to pray for this man and his family.
I live in a very large, but very rural county in Oklahoma. Last night, one of the Deputy Sheriffs we have wrecked his car responding to a burglary in progress call and lost his life. He was 25 years old and leaves behind his wife and 11 month old daughter. While I know a vast majority of the Deputies in this county, I did not know this man. I only know that he died on his way to help somebody while doing a thankless job for lousy pay (The local deputies make $1,200 a month before taxes). I intend to include this mans wife and child in my prayers and would like to ask those of you that do pray to please do the same.

As with everyone else here I want to echo the best wishes to your wife.
That said, every doctor that I have talked to, or someone else that vapes has talked to that I know of, knows exactly what e-cigs are and are very vocal in their approval of them. It's a life saving device, and medical professionals know it!. I'm sure they would much rather see you vaping right beside your wife in a hospital than in a smoke area spreading some more tar around your lungs.

I just realized this, as a testament to this forum, it's the only forum that I participate in that does not have a "my post" and "new posts" option. Typically I run from forums without those options. I'm hoping they will be implemented here at some point though. (hint hint)

I think I need some e-cigs anonymous.
I just wanna try it all!Mostly 'cause I still have a desire for one of those 15 analogs I have left from the carton I bought two days before my first PV arrived. Not bad considered a carton used to last maybe a week, but not perfect yet.
What mg juice do you use? I had to go to 36mg to even think about getting me off analogs, and even here I cheat and smoke a cig every now and then. I've thought about stepping up to 48, but I think I'll be fine staying at 36 with a cig here and there. A pack will last me a week now. Thats at least 1/15th of what I used to smoke!

With analogs running you $80-90.00 a month, I'll just guess and put you at around half a pack a day. That should also mean that you won't vape heavily, so the atomizer may indeed last you a lot longer and juice as well. $50-60 a month should be very do-able, you're problem may be that you end up enjoying vaping so much that you vape a lot lol.
But honestly, if you vape like you smoke, you will stay within your cost range easily.
