  1. You know what? I completely forgot that it came with a wall adapter. So, that solves my in the house problem. And I just read the other post about the car adapter, so that would take care of my in the car problem. So...there's really no problem? Oh great. And here I thought I was done with buying new equipment. Well...
  2. All this talk about the VP/PT really makes me want to try it. I think the only reason I haven't is that I could only use it at my computer. That wouldn't be a big problem when I'm home, but when I'm away it would be. I'd hate it if I got so attached to it that nothing else would satisfy me and I had nothing to use anywhere else. Well, actually it could be a problem at home, too, because I couldn't vape in other rooms. I've always got an ecig with me. Wow, I really am attached to these things.
  3. LOL Well, you've been here since the beginning. I tried to read all the old posts, and may have come pretty close to it, but I was getting confused, so I quit. Now I just try to keep up with all the new ones. And all the new people, etc. It can make your head spin, but I'm sure enjoying. I never thought I would, but I do. It helps that some people on here are very funny. I get a lot of laughs.
  4. Glad to hear it's working better for you. I know how you've been feeling though cause I went thru that with my very first ecig. That's why I had to look for something better. I have to agree with the others that the 510 is great. I haven't had an issue with my atty yet. I've had it since Nov. 5th and I vape pretty heavy most of the time. My only issue is with the batteries. Mine lasted about an hour and a half at first, but now only seem to be lasting about an hour. Sometimes the battery goes dead before the other one is finished charging. I ordered the Spade to take care of my battery issue, but until then, I'm using my pass thru when I'm at the computer to save on the other batteries. I have the VP2 and use it when my 510 atty gets hot. I'm happy enough with it, but I'm not as impressed with it right now. I'm hoping I will be once I try the LB atty's with it. I did find out the hard way that it's a really good idea to have some extra batteries and atty's all the time.
  5. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with who said what and where. Or, that could just be me.
  6. I have to agree with all the good things that were said about the 510. But, my batteries only last about an hour to an hour and a half. That's with some heavy vaping. I'm expecting to be much happier with the spade when I get it.
  7. The last time I looked, Arno was out, but Vapor Pro still had them. I would recommend them, too. Good luck. And do let us know how it's going.
  8. Thanks for sharing that warning. It might help someone in the future. And we can use all the help we can get. Glad it wasn't any worse and that everything ended up being okay.
  9. Congratulations Ambassador Keenan!!
  10. Yes, Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I am also very thankful for vaping, this forum, and all of you.
  11. I mix drops with the tasty vapors juice I got. They are strong enough I can actually taste them, so it's been fun experimenting. I still can't really taste my other juices, but I've used some of the tasty vapor juice with the others to see what happens. I only taste the tasty vapors. If you think the VT juice is too strong for you, maybe I'd be able to taste them. I'd love to try them, but want to be able to taste them. It would be so sad to get them and not be able to taste what the rest of you taste.
  12. I sent an email to Arno asking him if he had any idea when he'd get them in. He said it should be this week. I've been checking several times a day and finally decided to ask. Thought that would save me from checking so often. Nope. I still check several times a day. If someone would be so nice as to let us know when they get into the VT store, I'll order some from them, too. (hint hint)
  13. Let's see, my grandson has a Darth Vader mask, and a Spiderman mask. Hmmm. Maybe.... LOL
  14. Sounds like a great idea. Except not from me. I don't even like people to take still pictures of me. I'm sure not going to put myself on a video. LOL But I like seeing other people on video. Good thing you have a 12 year old to help you with that You Tube thing. Have fun.
  15. That sounds a lot like small town Nebraska. LOL When I see something on t.v. and they say it's available "anywhere" or "any grocery store", etc., I just have to laugh. I always want to tell them they aren't even close. I know it's not something we can not find within 100 miles - if even in the state. But, we do have a mall about 80 miles away. For us, that's close.
  16. Okay, fine. I've been working on composing a post about this, but now I'll just add my 2 cents worth. I also recently ordered from tasty vapor. I wasn't expecting much because I haven't been able to taste any juice I've tried - and I've tried a few different ones. I'd read this was a good place to order from and I liked their fair prices, so I gave them a try. I was totally surprised to actually taste these. And I mean really taste them!! I read that the doublers would be too strong to vape alone, but I did and WOW!!! I can taste them!!! Okay, I said that before, but it was so exciting. I got the cherry, cinnamon, and orange doublers and the atomic fireball and chocolate e-juice in 12mg. I've been vaping the doublers alone and do fine with them for several hours, then have to have some nic. I have no way of knowing how much nic I'm actually using, but I know it's a whole lot less than I was. The atomic fireball tastes a lot like the cinnamon, but with more of a "bite". Probably because it has nic in it? I really like both. They taste like those hot cinnamon candies. The cherry doesn't have as much of a kick to it, but I can tell it's cherry. Now remember, I haven't been able to taste any of the other juices so far, so someone else may get a lot more flavor from it than I did. The chocolate e-juice I can tell it has chocolate under tones, but it's mild. To me. I'm not that crazy about it, but it's still pretty good. I'm not sure on the orange. I can sure tell there is orange there, but I think I smell it more than taste it. I'm not sure yet. Like I said, I wasn't expecting to taste anything, so was very pleased. I ordered flavors that I really like to begin with, but am excited to try some of the others. All in all, I'm very pleased with these juices. The customer service was excellent. I sent an email before ordering because I wasn't sure exactly how I was supposed to do it. I got an answer right away, got my order in, got an email about that, and within 3 days had my order. Excellent service in my book. I'm a pleased customer.
  17. I have to agree. These things are amazing. I love hearing all these wonderful stories. I haven't had even one moment of wanting to try an analog again. I highly doubt I ever will. I've got what I want and I'm happy with it. The e-cigs aren't the only thing I find amazing though. I still can't quite believe that I joined a forum, that I actually participate in it, and have met some pretty incredible people.
  18. Congrats on your first video! You did a great job.
  19. There sure were a lot of good points here. I really and truly appreciate good customer service. I've had several jobs where I had to deal with customers and from an early age I was taught that the customer was always right. I've lived by that, but the times when I was not treated that way, I didn't like it. Maybe because of the way I was taught. I am always polite and do not ask for much, but I do like people to be polite to me. I can see where they could lose their desire to be polite after dealing with a bunch of ***holes, though. I'll have to think about that the next time I don't get the customer service I want. I can always try to be understanding. But, I do know that if I repeatedly get bad service, I will go elsewhere. I'm not the most patient person there is.
  20. It looks like I was writing at the same time you were, Sinikal. As soon as I put my post up, I saw yours and just had to comment on it. I find it interesting that your mom is concerned about your vaping. I have 3 (grown) kids and I'm the one who got all of them started on vaping. My youngest daughter started the same day I did - with hours of finding out about it. We told my oldest daughter about it and she started a couple weeks later. My son was interested, but hadn't gotten around to ordering an e-cig. He was at my house this weekend and I gave him my whole DSE901 kit. I figured I wouldn't be using it anymore anyway and if it would at least get him started, I was thrilled. And I don't care if they are hooked on it. I know what it's like to be hooked on analogs and then to be off of them and if my kids are off of them, then all I can say is, YES!!!!! Maybe if you could let your mom know that there is another mom out there who feels much better about the vaping than the analogs for her kids, it might ease her mind just a little bit.
  21. I have to agree with you about the mocha part. I'm always amazed that people pay those kinds of prices for a drink. No offense to anyone who does, it's just not my thing. Maybe it would help to know that when I started smoking, I paid 45 cents per pack. I said I'd never pay $1. per pack, then said I'd never pay $2., etc. Of course that's what addictions do to us. Anyway, everyone may think I'm a bit strange, but I quit smoking in public a long time ago. I couldn't handle people making comments about it and telling me I was ruining other peoples lives, etc. I smoked in my car or around others who smoked, but not in public. So, maybe because of that, I still don't vape in public. I'm so new to vaping that I still feel odd saying I'm a non-smoker. I know I am, but sometimes I feel like I'm lying. Maybe from so many years of smoking and now I get to vape and it's so close to smoking. I don't know. I just know sometimes I feel guilty - like the time I told the dr. I'd quit smoking. I didn't say I was vaping and felt a bit guilty about. I'm sure I'll get over it though. But, I don't feel like other people should be making comments about it since I'm pretty sure they know next to nothing about it. I suppose it's because they see the vapor and think smoke. Everyone is so conditioned to think that second hand smoke is killing everyone, that they just can't get around that maybe. But wouldn't you think that once they were told how much better it is, they'd be okay with it? Maybe the smokers are just jealous? I guess there are just a lot of people out there with a lot of opinions and they feel like it's their duty to inform you of their opinions. Wanted or not. I wouldn't, but I know of a lot of people who would. Hey, I still feel odd giving my opinion on here even when other people are asking for it. lol
  22. Well, I guess I'll skip the mega and go straight to the spade. I just ordered one. I justified the purchase by telling myself it's just another battery and I need that. I talked myself out of the VP-PT because I don't want to be plugged in that much. I switch back and forth between my VP2 and my 510 as the attys get hot, so ordering more batteries is okay. Right? lol Thanks for the input.
  23. I feel the same way, keenan. Except I'm already down to around 11mg on nic. I just got in an order of 0 nic yesterday and tried vaping with that for awhile. Amazingly, it went well. I might be able to completely go with 0 someday, but I doubt I'll quit even then. I do enjoy vaping. Much more than I ever enjoyed analogs. If that's possible.
