I'm totally amazed that over 8 months after my last analog, this little PV (with the fantastic help of Dawn at DIYFlavorshack) is now enabling me to have better control over my diabetes than ever before! A few (dozen ) toots on one of her wonderful dessert vapes and my urge to cheat simply vanishes. My Dr. is impressed, my Endocrinologist is amazed!!! AND I just might get to live a few years longer with all my toes and my vision... All thanks to This! :heart:

DYI for all you RY4 fans Use a 10ml bottle: 3ml Seedman's "Top Note" TOB506 Commercial Cigarette Flavor 1ml LorAnn's Caramel 1ml LorAnn's Bavarian Cream 1 Dropper full of VG Fill the rest of the bottle with unflavored PG (nic level of your choice) Shake well! Vapes Yummy at 3.7, 5, and 6 volts, but loses some flavor at higher voltage. Extra VG would produce more vapor, but this is a delicate flavor and extra vg might wash out the taste. Note: The seedman's Top Note flavors can be found here: http://www.seedman.com/flavor.htm They can be vaped straight out of the bottle (I buy the pre mixed 4 ounce NOT the concentrate) as they only contain flavor, PG, and purified water.

Are you looking to vape a 510 atty on an 801 battery or an 801 atty on a 510 battery? Either way these can be found at: http://altsmoke.com/replacementparts/adapt/batteryadpt.html I have personally bought these and can vouch for their quality and customer service The 510 atty to 801 adapter actually produces about twice the vapor on my janty stick than janty's adapter (No Resistor!) AND I use that same adapter to vape my 510s at 5volts using a manual 801 passthrough

It's been 9 days since I posted my theory that it's the nicotine that's effecting our BGl numbers more than the PG or VG... (Reference post #15in this thread ) I am still chain vapeing zero nic as my main vape... But I have reduced my nic vape to 6mg and am down to 1 or 2 ml of nic juice a day. My BGl numbers are back under my control as good as before! In fact, I'm starting to reduce my total daily insulin dosage, and I believe that's because I'm consuming less nic than before I started vapeing... My goal is to eliminate the nic all together... I Do NOT however, plan to quit vapeing I enjoy it too much... AND all the research suggests that PG vapeing might just make you LESS susceptible to colds, flu's and other bugs Besides, If I'm making all my own juice, and I lay in a supply of attys The FDA can go screw themselves and I can vape away without worrying about it

Wow, all the recomendations for the low bridge 801's has me wondering... Because, the RN4072 appears to be nothing but a low bridge 801 and I was totally NOT impressed. I have about 25 801 attys now but all are high bridge... Except for the 1 atty that shipped with my Joye Stick a little over a week ago... I looked at it, and it's low bridge, but 801? RN4072?? Who the hell knows, so I just tossed it in the box with the other new attys... Hummm...

Rn4072 attys are the same as the NJoy e-cig (The pen style NOT the NPro) They're basically low bridge 801s and will use 801 batteries, carts, chargers, etc... However, in my experience, they are a harder draw, and do not produce as much vapor (Smaller wicking surface to the atty?), AND they seem to burn hotter... Thus die quicker... As always YMMV

Hi, I'm an insulin dependant type 2 and I have also been experiencing trouble with bloog glucose control since switching from analogs to vapeing. I test at LEAST 8 times a day and take from 4 to 6 insulin shots. Additionally, I'm taking 1000 mg metformin twice daily. I use Lantus as my Basil insulin, and Humalog as my bolus insulin. Okay, all this was prolly TMI for some of you but for the others it will show where I'm working from. Before I switched from analogs, My quarterly lab tests were in TEXTBOOK NORMAL ranges across the board. I work very hard to control my diabetes Since I switched, my blood glucose numbers are quite a bit higher than they were before... I'm now mixing my own e-juice to figure out what is causing the problem and what I can do about it. I've discovered that (for me at least) the amount of nicotine I'm vapeing has a MUCH larger effect on my levels than VG or PG or a VG/PG mix! I found that I vape a lot more than I smoked... I was a 3 pack a day smoker, but since I quit I tend to chain vape all day. So, what I've done is set up 2 or 3 different e-cigs to carry around with me all day. My Janty is filled with about a 40/40/20 mix of VG/PG/Loriann flavor with ZERO NICOTINE! This is what I chain vape most of the time. The other e-cig or 2 has the same mix, but with 18mg nic. I vape a few drags off these if I feel the need for a nic fix. Since I've started this ( almost a week now) my blood glucose numbers are still a little high, but getting closer to what were my normal levels... As always YMMV but try and lower the level of nicotine and see what that does for you.

I have an ultrasonic cleaner that's still new in the box. I'm thinking about filling it with everclear and trying that to clean my attys.... Anyone here tried this already?

One thing to note about VG: As an insulin dependant diabetic, I noticed immediately that my blood sugar goes up significantly when vapeing juice with vg in it. PG does not have that effect... The blu attys will actually fit (and work with) the 510 batteries and vice versa. However, the polarity on the Blu batteries is reversed from most (if not all) of the other e-cig batteries. While the atty don't care which direction the current is traveling, the circuits in the batteries WILL be damaged if you try to charge a blu battery in a 510 charger, and vice versa. And yes this includes the PCC even if the batteries fit.
