  1. Its one of the many China e-cig shops. Shipping takes the benefit of thier prices away and makes it more like what we pay from American shopes. Look at my posts in "supplier reviews - positive" for some pretty good deals going on.
  2. Just thought I'd let people know, I just ordered 2 AW 18350 batts. for $6.26 a piece and 10 blank Boge Standard Resistance Carto's for .99 each. Thats $25.22 total with shipping. I like finding good buys.
  3. I came across this article while looking around for info about li-ion batteries concerning charging, draining and other points. Might be helpful to some. http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?329321-Li-ion-beginner-primer
  4. NICE Those eGo Mega Dual Coil Carts really bring out the liquid flavor. I taste the Backwoods Brew Maple Tobacco allot better with these.
  5. I'll have to decide which liquid to use and try the Mega Dual Coil Carts. I can see using them at home and regular carts out doing things in town.
  6. I wonder if it is still good or if it will always taste burnt now? Do they react the same as the cartomizers and get ruined if the material burns once?
  7. I received a CE4 Clearomizer with the v8 Mod I just got. I have never used a 1.6ml Clearomizer and I may have done something wrong. I filled it and started to use it and after about 3 hits it started having a burnt taste. After a couple more hits I decided to stop. Did I ruin it already if it has a burnt taste? What did I do wrong? Did I need to let it set a while first? I also have a couple of Madvapes Clear eGo Mega Dual Coil Carts. Is there a special way to fill or use these? THANKS for the help
  8. Something else I forgot to mention. Make sure you get the right batteries if you decide to rotate with a second set. They can't be longer than 35cm so its easier to just get the orange AW button top batts. I got some Trustfire batts and they will not go into the unit because of the circuit protection board inside making them 37cm.
  9. I just got it yesterday and the batts were nearly full charge because it only took 40 mins. for the charger light to go green. I read where it may take 5 hours to charge but not sure yet. The batteries are 18350 900 mAh or you can get different mAh on them. So far since yesterday at this time it is still charged and I'm betting they will be till tomorrow.
  10. After I ordered I found the same thing in a rubberized coating and wished I'd have seen it sooner. I'm still really happy with it though.
  11. From what I understand they say not to go higher than 36mg of nicotine. I have used an eGo battery with low resistance cartomizers for a few months and I'm satisfied most of the time with 24mg nic. This after 37 years of tobacco. Now I have found with my new Variable Volt Mod. box that I can be more satisfied. He may have to try more powerful equipment (batteries, low resistance cart's, Mod) to satisfy his needs. I would recomend what I just got that kicks azz. Ovale V8 variable volt Mod from SmokTek.com Its only $50.00 for the whole kit. Hope this helps you.
  12. I finally decided to buy a VV Mod to see how I'd like them. I just got it today from SmokTek.com. I've only filled a cartomizer a few times but I'm already impressed with it. Very nice shape with a good solid feel to it. It has the 5 click on-off feature with a blink indicator, and the smaller buttons on either side increase and decrease the power. It has a nice easy to read display and the light around the button is a nice blue/purple. It weighs about what a cell phone would or slightly heavier. It appears that I'll be able to use a wide variety of cart's as well. Now I know I CAN get hits from vaping like I did from tobacco cigs. I'm sure I'll be more satisfied with vaping now that I have this Mod. I'm not an experienced Mod user yet, but I would highly recomend this to anyone who never had one and wants to see what its like without spending allot of money. $50.00 seems fair to me for the whole kit. If you have questions I'll try to answer them. I'm glad I made this choice.
  13. It may help to go to a higher nicotine content, but if you would just keep vaping as much with that too, than its not a good idea. Maybe cut back on vaping or just find bigger carto's that work for you.
  14. Here is a response from a rep. at Sigelei. Thank you for your inquiry, this is Cherry from Sigelei. The battery you can use 900mah(18350) or 700mah(16340) I am now asking her if it is ok to use 18350 1200Mah Trustfire Li-ion 3.7V
  15. It looks as though I can use any 18350 as long as it has the button/nipple top. I am waiting on the Mod and also ordered extra batteries 18350 1200Mah Trustfire Li-ion 3.7V (2 pack) from another site with a protection circuit built in. Next time I will try the AW 18350 700mAh type.
  16. I'm finding the batteries now but it brings a new question. Can I use an 18350 1200Mah Trustfire Li-ion 3.7V protected batt?
  17. I will need to know where to buy these bats- 18350 900mAh ICR protected Li-Ion battery (button top) 35mm. I'm having trouble finding the size with button top. Where can I get these? THANKS
  18. I'll have to watch for that. I always use carto's but when I use a different type I'll keep it in mind. I went ahead and ordered it lastnight and will let people here know how it works for me. The batteries go in from a door on the bottom back of the unit. If I see a need to seal the top I will.
  19. I'm on the verg of buying the "Sigelei Ovale V8 - Variable Voltage PV - 3-6 volt". Looks like a good design with nice features for the price.
  20. I have been looking at Mods and have seen a few for a more reasonable price than others. Here are a couple I saw "The Indulgence V3 3.7 Volt Kit", "The Detonator 3.7 XL MOD". IF I decide to spend the money on one, Which ones are good at long battery charge life and overall battery life expectancy? Do they free up more time between messing with vape components and make vaping easier for you? Thanks for the help fellow Americans.
  21. Funny thing for me to see this topic today. After eGo's with 2.0 carts the last few months I just today used an earned discount at Madvapes to get a couple of these to try for the first time "Clear eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer, Flat Tip". I don't feel I need that much liquid at once and I wonder how fragile they will be as far as keeping them with me around town. I'm guessing I won't want to put them in my pocket like I do with LR carto's on my eGo's. It will be my first dual coils and we'll see what all the praise is about I guess. I hope all my 50/50 PG/VG that I like will do well in them.
  22. I got a 5V passthrough from Electronicstix for $10.00 and it works well with regular resistance carts. However, I still use my eGo's all the time and don't really see a need to use the 5V. Now that we are discussing it, I'll have to get it out and compair it with my eGo's again. I just wanna leave tobacco alone which is why I started this thing and so far I'm good. I just get frustrated at having to keep buying and or cleaning Carto's and wish they would last longer using 50/50 PG/VG mixes. I need the vapor to feel satisfied myself.
