  1. I imagine that the atomizer mesh slipped down a bit, my friends did that same thing. If you take something small and try very gently to push it up, it should get out of the way.
  2. The reason they are smaller is that they are not protected batteries. As far as putting out more power, they may be better quality batteries? You can tell if a battery is protected by a small ridge at the negative end of the batt, and they are a bit shorter.
  3. I sent my thanks to governor and I would also like to thank Chris for getting us motivated and organized!
  4. VG actually gives more vapor, at the cost of some loss of flavor.
  5. No the out of stock is mostly due to the Chinese holiday, most suppliers should be getting things in soon.
  6. I'll tell you why I started smoking first. Both of my parents smoke and I hated it so much I decided I would start smoking to show them what it does to you <---- 13 year old thinking there. So at 28 I'm hooked and still hate smoking then I find a E-banner for Luci e-cigs, do some research, VT forums come into play, buy my first E-Cig, never look back.
  7. It was at Thinkgeek.com, about $26 with shipping. It fully charges about 6-7 batteries before you have to recharge it.
  8. They mean American distributors, yes all of our E-Cig parts and juice are made in China, but the distributors here import them so you don't have to.
  9. Looks like a M401 to me, you can find them at Truesmoker.com, and Dietsmokes.com
  10. Ahh... I didn't know that, thanks for the clarification bzeisman!
  11. You just get a battery connector off of a battery or order them at Altsmoke.com. Then take your RCA plug and widen the hole with progressively bigger drill bits till the batt connector will press fit inside. I haven't used glue or epoxy on any of these. Once you have the right size hole just solder a wire from the plug end to the center of your battery connection. <--- that part is a little tedious, but worth it for the versatility, in my opinion. I can honestly say that if I had not found out about E-Cigs, I wouldn't know how to solder or know as much about batteries that I do today!
  12. If you are in state that sells Everclear, it works like a charm for me. Just let it soak anywhere from 5 min. to an hour, blow it out and let it dry for a bit. Has taken off every flavor I have tried with it, also takes crud off the coil on the long soaks. I wouldn't use canned air, it has chemicals in it that would be very bad for your health!
  13. Ok so I have been working on the look of this thing and it is still uglier than sin but I love it. I recessed the RCA connection and the LED, it is much smaller than my original This one shows all the atomizers I can connect to it. And this one shows the size compared to M401 battery and atomizer, one of the smallest E-Cigs out there. Against my mod with a DSE801 plugged into it, one of the largest E-Cigs out there. And I know that the VP2 uses the same batteries that I do, so you guys should be very pleased with your purchase. This thing is a vapor monster!
  14. If you don't mind a pink or a white one Vaporkings.com has some.
  15. If you overfill, that is called flooding. The atomizer won't be able to get hot enough to produce much vapor, so if you do you will proly know pretty quick. Also I have noticed on my 510 atty it leaks off any excess juice fairly quickly. After I lose flavor is when I drip as well, so just stick with it. Once you have about a month under your belt this will seem like second nature to you.
  16. I believe the most expensive part would be the manufacturing and handling of the nicotine, not to mention the overseas shipping, customs agents. Oh and profit... lol. Also most suppliers say that the juice only has a 1-2 year lifespan, so stocking up will only last you for a while, unfortunately.
  17. I personally would go with the 401 Dragon with the manual batteries or the 510, it really depends on if you want a PPC, as far as I know the 510 has one but the Dragon does not. The reason I would suggest these two are that I personally have never heard of the other models, or the people that sell them, I tend to stick with the trusted suppliers on this site for my e-cig parts. I have purchased the Dragon, it is a very good starter model as it is the closest size to a analog. I also have a 510 atomizer on the mod I built and it is a vapor beast. (EDIT) But at the same time the 510 does use more juice than a Dragon. My two cents, I hope that helps some.
  18. It is basically the same juice you buy regularly, but with no flavor to it. You have to be a chemist working for a very large company to get pure nicotine, and it is heavily regulated. Proly because it is so potent a poison in it's pure form.
  19. Very well, a half hour to an hour soak, then blowing it out and letting it dry will get almost any flavor off.
  20. Batteries are another matter altogether when it comes to MaH, that basically indicates how long they will run at a certain discharge. I am not completely sure on the science but I do know that unless a USB output says 1000 MaH it won't run your passthrough. ThinkGeek.com, I bought this one hoping it would power my passthrough, as it does not list the MaH output on it. It is only 500 and the light on the end of my passthrough will light up, no vapor at all.
  21. Jiffy is correct the VT Mentha is excellent, I have tried two other menthol flavors and they are good also. One was from Vaporkings, which comes in 11mg 16mg and 24mg, the other was from Truesmoker, which only comes in 18mg. There is also a site that sells menthol crystals and liquid JuicyLiquid.com. I would only suggest using this if the regular flavors don't quite do it for you.
  22. Ok so right off the bat I am going to say try this at your own risk! So I recently purchased some VG for mixing and some everclear for cleaning my atty's. So a little devil on my shoulder said hey why don't you try mixing those and cutting it into your juice. My mix is 2ml VG to 1ml everclear, then when I drip I usually add 2 drops of juice on my atomizer to 1 drip of my mixture. This produces very thick vapor and knocks the throat hit up 4-5 notches... Bam! I am not saying this is for everyone, but if you have some everclear laying around you might try it. I also don't vape this all the time, usually just when I want that extra kick. (EDIT) The reason I wanted to share this was that it does not seem to kill the flavor as much as pure VG... I get so excited about sharing something and forget the whole reason I posted in the first place...
