  1. I never had the cough. If anything I got rid of the cough, especially at night and waking up early in the morning. Occasionally I would have a little gunk in my throat though and it would come up on it's own. That doesn't happen much anymore So, it does get better!
  2. Marketed towards kids my @$$. I'm sorry, but kids either smoke or they don't. They find ways to get analogs no matter what, what about that? Maybe they should focus more on that and them getting their hands on something that KILLS them and gets them hooked for life. (I was one of them stupidly at 16, but laws selling to minors weren't as strict then.) Why take a good thing away from adults? I'm sorry but this pisses me off. It does all come money and greed! They are losing 400 bucks a month from me and thousands from other countless ex smokers who choose to vape and it scares them. Lets not pay attention to the fact that almost all people who vape are now feeling so much better and don't have a wheeze or morning cough. Stupid, just plain stupid to ban them. Lets ban Analogs then! I would be all for that! Thats a cause worth looking into.
  3. Sorry, I should have looked first before posting. Found the answer to my problems and solved them thanks to older posts on this forum! It was dirty and I cleaned it with a Q-tip, and I had to screw it in really tight to get it to work again!
  4. I am wondering how to clean a battery. Should I use a Q-tip with something else to clean it? It all started tonight when I went to use my EGo Passthru battery and it stopped working. It's plugged in and charged(the button lights up when I press it) but nothing is happening when I vaped. I tried different batteries, so I know its not the atty. I have been using this battery for about a month now and no problems until now. I looked at the top of it and saw there is some old juice inside. What is the best recommendations to clean it. If it is completely dead, it wouldn't charge right?
  5. They are great, I have two 1000mah Ego batteries.
  6. Wow, thats crazy. Never heard of that happening. I have an EGo pass thru and no problems here. (Knocks on wood) I would see if you could return it to cignot or try looking at other vendors for a pass thru. They aren't supposed to do that!
  7. That is a lot of e-juice per day!! I am a heavy vapor and I go through a 15 ml bottle in about 5 days or so. It only costs me 8 bucks though and I get a free sample with that from Awesome Vapor. As others have said, initially it does cost a lot. But I have already saved money and I've been doing this almost 7 weeks now. I was spending around 400 bucks a month to smoke. Thats a big chunk of change which I found out recently with hr cuts at work, that I could not afford it anymore. So when I looked into vaping and got all the start up stuff (batteries, atomizers, cartos, carts, tons of e-juice) I ended up spending almost that much. But now, I am seriously only spending maybe 30-50 bucks a month. I kinda bought in bulk so I'm good now for quite some time. So that is saving me big time in the long run. The best advantage is that I LOVE IT MORE THEN SMOKING! Also I feel better physically. So as others have said, try increasing your nicotine. What are you currently using? I use 18mg and it works great for me. I was a Marb Ultra light Menthol smoker..2 packs per day. The 18 I thought would be strong, but its exactly what I need to keep me off cigs. I did try a lesser amount and it wasn't doing it at all for me. I tried like 6mg or something like that because I figured as an ultra light cig smoker, thats all I would need. I was WRONG! As they say on those packs of cigs, Ultra light and Light don't mean anything. I was probably inhaling much more then that. So try that and hopefully it will help you satisify your cravings and save you some money as well.
  8. Either way, Vaping an E-cig in a public place that does not allow smoking is usually asking for trouble. (Yes, people are paranoid about any type of smoke/vapor) I usually just vape in places where I would usually smoke. Also, hope you are 18. I was 15 when I started smoking occasionally and 17 when I started doing it regularly and let me tell you, biggest mistake of my life. I did it to be cool and ended up getting hooked. Quit if you can while your young. Not worth it in the long run.
  9. Yeah I used to be a CNA and those automatic BP machines are crappy. Manual ones with someone who knows how to take a proper BP is your best bet. I have heard that Nicotine can cause your BP to increase, but the fact that I am no longer coughing in the morning and that I can breathe better makes me believe that this is a healthier alternative for me. And yes, now that I can "smell" again, I cannot believe I smelled that bad when smoking analogs. I was a heavy smoker. Glad thats over with. Vaping is so much better!
  10. Congrats on recruiting people! I recently spent the holidays with my bf's family and his mom and grandma both smoke. His mom was fascinated with my e-cig where his grandma is stuck in her ways and prefers the analogs. I was worried being around smokers that I would get tempted for an analog, instead I just sat there and vaped and didn't even miss analogs. I did notice how HORRIBLE the smell is though being around smokers! Like, before I realized it didn't smell the greatest, but WOW. I can't believe I walked around smelling like that! Anyways, his mom is a heavy smoker of 36 yrs and was very interested in my EGO. She is only 52 yrs old and is having health problems analog cig related and has had no success quitting. She was amazed at how I could smoke indoors and not a trace of any smell in the house. She usually smokes in her garage with a mini space heater in winter. Not fun. So, since she is completely computer illiterate, I ordered her an EGo kit from the same vendor I got mine from. I really do hope she likes it. She bought a disposable e-cig and was liking it, but disappointed in lack of throat hit. I told her the EGo is SO MUCH BETTER! So she gets her kit soon and I hope she likes it.
  11. Ok the Blu sucks! Sorry, but it does. I bought one of those back in July because it looks like an analog and it just didn't do it for me either. It has a separate atomizer and the carts along with a very weak battery. And yes, the juice does leak. The throat hit is barely there. I hate to say it, but you got pretty much the lowest end e-cig out there. (Sorry for knocking Blu, but I was really disappointed for the money I spent!) I did what others are suggesting. RESEARCH. I know it's hard to research when E-cigs are a new concept to you, but really it does pay! Anything sold in malls is crap also. I will tell you why. It is so sub-par to what they have out there now and WAY overpriced! So Research is the key. I happened upon the Joye EGo mainly because it sells itself because of the long battery life. They aren't kidding! I was very skeptical to get something like looked almost like a pipe, but I tried it anyway. I, like most people, wanted to get off of analog cigs. I was a slave to them and I knew my health was being jeopardized in the process. Not to mention the cost! I did try one other e-cig before the EGo. It was the Revolver Elite. The throat hit was MUCH better then the Blu, but the batteries were awful...which is what got me interested in the EGo. So in a way, that e-cig got me more curious about what ELSE there was out there. The EGO is awesome. I cannot rave enough about it. I was a 2 pack a day smoker and after purchasing my EGO kit and some Menthol e-juice in 18mg nicotine, I was very impressed. NO, it's not like an analog AT ALL. It's simliar, but without the nasty burning smell or taste. It's much smoother. It also helps my cravings for cigs immensely! Within two days, seriously, I was over analogs. I was vaping on this device the first night I got it and had an analog the next day and it made me realize how NASTY analogs are! So, I put my pack of analogs away and decided vaping was gonna be my new thing. A week later I gave that same pack of analogs away. Didn't need them anymore and that says a lot because in the past, I would panic if I didn't have a pack on me at all times. I can proudly say I am still analog free. My counter at the bottom is 100% accurate. Once in a blue moon I do get a craving for an analog...but then I remember how nasty it tasted the very last time I had one and it turns me off to analogs all together. So I just reach for my EGo and it does the job. Yes, it would be nice to be able to run to the store to buy e-juice, batteries, or atomizers, but I buy in bulk. VT is reputable and there are other very reputable vendors out there that ship pretty darn fast! If you like it, just buy in bulk so you have enough to last for awhile. It is SO NICE not to have to worry about running out to buy cigs because I am almost out. (I even went out in a few snow storms for those darn things!) I have it all here with me and I am SET! It's wonderful. Seriously do not judge all e-cigs because of your experience with BLU. I almost did and I am so glad that I looked into it further and did not give up on e-cigs. So give it a try if you are seriously looking to change your habit. Also I want to stress how much better I feel! I can taste things and I also can breathe better. You will notice a difference. It's awesome! Plus no smell and you can smoke it pretty much anywhere without smelling like an ashtray!
  12. Honestly I don't think it is any more unsafe then a nicotine inhaler. Because that is what you are basically doing, inhaling nicotine and vapor. The FDA is just mad that they can't get their hands on it to charge/tax us more and because the Government is losing precious tax dollars. Heck, I would rather spend my money on vaping, then to severely damage my lungs further from analogs(hacking up a lung) and pay my money to them because they say "it's FDA approved and it's ok." Yeah and then have them slap a warning on the side of the pack of analogs saying it can cause Emphysema and lung cancer etc. Then have Millions of DOCUMENTED cases of people dying from it. Sorry but that doesn't make it ok. So the hell with what they say! They don't care about us. If they did, they would research ways to ban analogs or would offer up vaping as a safer solution/alternative to this serious addiction that most of the world has.
  13. I really do like getting my menthol e-liquid from Arno at Awesome Vapor(It's my favorite so far). It's more of a combo of menthol and tobacco...like I used to smoke in analogs. I like to switch it up occasionally and the have some menthol from Revolver (tastes more like a candy cane though which can be good and bad). I also must say VT's e-liquid is very tasty as well. Midnight is very good! I also ordered from The Vapor Room and they have some good e-liquid as well. The Vapor room has some good variety sampler packs. I think I got like 5 flavors for 13 bucks. They were 6ml samplers. That was a christmas promotion and I'm not sure if they still have that going on. Awesome Vapor also has sampler packs for 17.00 bucks. I think you can choose up to 5 I believe and there is quite a variety to choose from.
  14. Menthol is now my favorite vape. I use other flavors occasionally if I'm in the mood for something else. But combining them can be surprisingly good. Plus it cuts down on me vaping all my menthol so fast!
