Hi All,
Still new at this. I found i wasnt getting a great draw of my eGo 510 wiht carto. I took off the cone and seem to be getting better hits. Is this normal?

Yep! Its the main reason that I do not use the cone. It looks a little dorky but the draw is so much better without the cone.

The cone makes the draw a little tighter. And with some cartos it's really tight. Of course some cartos are hard to draw anyway but the cone makes it even harder.
That's why some of us like the cone and some don't It's your choice.....try it both ways and see what YOU like best.

The air flow is a personal perference. The reduced air flow is supposed to increase the vapor. But it requires that you take a slower longer draw. If you are not into huge vapor, but like to take a faster draw... take the cone off. If you want huge vapor... slow down a little and be patient.... you'll get clouds of vapor.

I have not used one ,but I would imagine you could notch them with a file at the base to allow for airflow and still have the pretty factor.

That's a good idea, but, you would have to drill a hole in the cone because the bottom of the cone is threaded. Should work the same as a notch, just be sure you go above the threads so you don't mess them up.
