The reason I say this is because some people clean their atomizer with water (I have in the past as well) However if they go to use the atomizer when it isn't dry it will die out. They can usually revive it by waiting for the atomizer to dry. With that being said, I'm guessing that by adding water you will most likely stop your atomizer from working.
