cartridge during dripping?

Sorry. I posted this in the wrong place the first time.

I have a penstyle DSE801 and want to try dripping directly on the atomizer. This may be a goofy question, but do I do this with the fillable cartridge in the mouthpiece or remove the cartridge and use just the mouthpiece? Also, I have read where this reduces the life of the atomizer. By how much?

Just use the mouth piece you dont need the cart if your gonna drip, as atomizers are a crap shoot anyway I couldn't tell you how much if any, I had one last me 3 months doing nothing but dripping had one last about a week atomizers are really hit or miss anyway. Good luck and happy dripping.

WOW. There is a world of difference in using the cartridge and dripping. I can finally get a hit (or two or three) that are really satisfying. Now I have all these empty cartridges I will probably never use.!!!!
