I thought this was pretty cool - if you have a mind for spaghetti. I knew Linux was pretty forked but I had no freakin idea. How much does this impact development? I'm just curious, I'm not a coder in any sense of the word. Having trouble posting this image for my own hosting temporarily, so I'm going to try to attach it below. Meanwhile, here's the source:
