Kanthal is a known resistance wire perfect for buulding coils and is cheap enough with free shipping from:http://www.temcoindustrialpower.com/products/Resistance_Wire/RW0116.html
Happy Vapor Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 You can use nichrome wire but like josh said I would recommend not. Kanthal is inexpensive and easy to come by. I get mine from amazon. Temco carries great wire.
