I'm getting my rebuild-able Patriot clone and i haven't used a rebuild-able yet, sooo i was wondering what type, size and braided or twisted wicks also what type of wire should i use?

You're gonna want to use Kanthal A-1 resistance wire. You can use any size silica wick. Some of us here use cotton for our wicking materal. You may want to Youtube Riptrippers and Grimmgreen for coil building how to's. I use a variety of wire sizes from 33gauge up to 24gauge. You're gonna need an ohms meter as well to test for ohms before you just fire up your first build.

so like just a cotton ball ripped apart and bedded down?

Yep. But I also roll it between my fingers and thread it thru my coils depending on the style of coil I'm building.

Theres nothing special about the coil. Its the way its wicked that gives it that name.

What kind of device(battery style) will you be using your Patriot on?

for now i am going to use my xhale x6 battery with 1300mah

Then you'll need to keep your ohms above 1.4 or else your battery won't power it.
