Smoktech vivi nova coils in a Vision Vivi Nova mini

I got ahold of some Smoktech vivi nova coils and I use a Vision Vivi Nova mini. They will work as is for a few days and then it seems as though the threads on the plastic tank are stripped. I found out if you remove the little metal part from the rubber seal or use the rubber seal sans metal insert from a Vision coil that they will work very good, I bought quite a few of the Smoktech coils so being the frugal individual I am I felt obligated to use them. Not sure how they would work on an aluminum mini tank or a 3.5 Nova as I am quite pleased with my mini.
