Do clearomizers short circuit?

Just got my lavatube in the mail. While waiting for it, i used a vivi nova for a day with an ego c but then it quit working. Also used a wickless tank that worked for an hour and then quit (with the ego.) Have taken the lavatube out the box and inserted the battery (shows about 75% full) but nothing happens when I try to to vape.... *with both clearomizers

Yes coils can and do quit working.

Can you hear any noise from either coil ?
